Story:

“A Love So Beautiful” is a popular Chinese drama from 2017. The upcoming remake will be a digital drama optimized for mobile viewing, and it will be released within this year via a new video platform by KakaoM and Kakao.

 

Cast:

Kim Yo Han as Cha Heon (17-year-old)

He is a student at Chun Ji High School who has both good looks and brains. He appears to be a cold character, but he is actually someone with a warm heart who is awkward at expressing himself well.

 

So Ju Yeon as Shin Sol Yi

She is a bright and bubbly 17-year-old who has a crush on Cha Heon. She openly confesses her love to Cha Heon continuously, and she is a clumsy but lovable character.

 

Yeo Hoi Hyeon as Woo Dae Sung

He is a talented swimmer who transfers to Chun Ji High School and falls for Shin Sol Yi. He does not express his feelings for her and quietly stays by her side

I love this C-drama, A Love so beautiful! The female lead is portrayed as a cheerful and spunky girl in the drama and the male lead is of course this cool-looking, gorgeous guy who also happens to be the school's genius. The close interactions between the two leads are really adorable and heart-warming all the same.

I do hope the Korean re-make will be just as good or even better!

I recently watched the original China drama.. i thought it was really slow in the first half of the show, i hope the Korean remake would be of faster pace, n that the male lead actually show some romantic interest, though hidden, of the female lead... sigh..
