We don`t have a confirmation of number of episodes. First I read that there are 10 episodes. In an article confirming the leads, it was said that there are 8 episodes. Other site (MyDramaList) said 16 episodes. We`ll see. 4 hours ago, jongski said: with the genre it's seems similar to that other current drama "Oh My Baby"? woman in 40's and child birth. It is in the same trend but there is a difference. In Oh My Baby, the heroine wants a baby and she is looking for a father, in this drama the women are pregnant.
larus
Rookie Nam Yoon-soo to join Eom Ji-won, Park Ha-sun, Jang Hye-jin in new tvN drama by tccolb Eom Ji-won, Nam Yoon-soo, Park Ha-sun, Jang Hye-jin A new Monday-Tuesday drama has been lined up on tvN, called Postpartum Care Center, and casting has now been confirmed for actor Nam Yoon-soo (Extracurricular). He’ll be joining his sunbaes, Eom Ji-won (The Cursed), Park Ha-sun (Weekday Afternoon Lovers), and Jang Hye-jin (How to Buy a Friend, Crash Landing on You) confirmed that they were signing on in leading roles last week. The drama stars Eom Ji-won as Oh Hyun-jin. Enjoying considerable success in her career, she becomes one of the youngest to be selected as an executive board member at her company. While balancing work and life, she becomes a mother relatively late in life. Being an older mom meant getting through pregnancy and childbirth was no small challenge, but adapting to life after childbirth is a struggle as well. The story then follows Eom and the other women at a postpartum care center as they share their burdens, find comfort among their peers, and learn to grow. Park Ha-sun plays a fellow mother and queen bee at the postpartum care center, Jo Eun-jung. Jang Hye-jin has signed on to play Choi Hye-sook, the head director at the postpartum care center. Nam Yoon-soo takes on the role of a deliveryman named Ha Kyung-hoon. Friendly and courteous, he’s well-known among the center’s residents for his smile and has a happy-go-lucky personality. (Sounds like a complete 180-turn from his Extracurricular role.) more http://www.dramabeans.com/2020/05/rookie-nam-yoon-soo-to-join-eom-ji-won-park-ha-sun-jang-hye-jin-in-new-tvn-drama/

larus
Watch: Park Ha Sun, Uhm Ji Won, And More Take You Inside The Luxurious World Of “Birthcare Center” Drama Preview Sep 23, 2020 by C. Hong tvN’s upcoming drama “Birthcare Center” has unveiled a teaser and main poster! “Birthcare Center” is a drama in the noir genre about the world of high-level postpartum care. It centers around a woman named Oh Hyun Jin (Uhm Ji Won), who is the youngest executive at her company but the oldest mother at her luxurious postpartum care center. During her stay there, she meets other new mothers and struggles to adapt to the strange environment of the care center. In the main poster, Uhm Ji Won and Park Ha Sun enjoy a feast before their lives as mothers are set to begin. Despite the elegance of their surroundings, there is an aura of mystery. Uhm Ji Won looks afraid, while Park Ha Sun, who plays Jo Eun Jung, the “queen bee” of the postpartum care center, smiles slyly as she glances at her out of the corner of her eye. The two figures in the background also have strange looks on their faces: Choi Hye Sook, played by Jang Hye Jin, is the director of the postpartum care center, while Lee Roo Da, played by Choi Ri, is another patient there in her twenties. larus
New poster and teaser for tvN’s Birthcare Center by tineybeanie A powerful female-centric cast, dark social commentary, and macarons—where do I sign up? tvN’s latest 8-episode miniseries Birthcare Center stars Eom Ji-won (The Cursed), Park Ha-sun (Weekday Afternoon Lovers), Jang Hye-jin(Memorials), and Choi Ri (My First First Love) in a story about an incredibly successful businesswoman who becomes pregnant later in life and enters the intense world of high-risk pregnancy and motherhood. In noir drama Birthcare Center, Eom Ji-won plays the main character who manages to rise in her company to become its youngest board member ever. Although she’s the youngest at work, she’s the oldest woman at the birthcare center. Birthcare centers are a big thing in Korea, and it’s common for women and their babies to go straight from the hospital to a birthcare center. It’s sort of a maternity ward and hotel in one, with nurses and staff taking care of babies and mothers’ needs. (Length of stay and luxuriousness vary depending on the amount families are able to part with.) In the poster above, Eom Ji-won enjoys a lavish tea party that’s also littered with a variety of baby toys. Park Ha-sun, Choi Ri and Jang Hye-jin stare at Eom Ji-won from the corner of their eyes, almost smirking sinisterly at her clueless state. The copy reads: “Is this really heaven?” At the top of the birthcare center’s social hierarchy, we have Park Ha-sun playing the queen bee. Then, there’s Choi Ri playing a twentysomething pregnant woman. Finally, Jang Hye-jin rounds out the main cast, playing the director of the postpartum care center. It’ll be interesting to see how these characters form relationships within the microcosm of the postpartum care center, given their different backgrounds. The teaser begins with dramatic music highlighting the same scene as the poster. Then, it transitions into a tour of the luxurious birthcare facilities. From indoor gardens to fancy brunch rooms to high-tech glass nurseries, the birthcare center looks like something out of a Tiffany and Co. home decor catalogue. Text flashes on the screen inviting viewers: “You have entered the world of birthcare.” As she enters the room, a knock and Jang Hye-jin’s voice can be heard: “Madam?” more https://www.dramabeans.com/2020/09/new-poster-and-teaser-for-tvns-birthcare-center/
