Most probably when RaOn disguised as a man.

Prince HyoMyeong is mischievous and probably finds his way to get out easily from troubles.

Possibly only RaOn can easily outwit him or stops his mischievous acts.

Another possibility is that the two mostly bicker and argue each other and RaOn always wins the argument.

Kim Yoo Jung plays Hong Ra On, a girl who disguises as a man and gives out love advice. One day, a client (whom she helps writing love letters) tells her the lady he admire requested to meet. In fear of his lies getting exposed, he begs Ra On to reject the lady in his stead. Turns out it was Crown Price Hyomyeong who asked for the meeting; he is curious of the man capable of conquering the heart of his sister—who is cold and difficult to impress. Pffft~ like brother like sister. Hyomyeong knows right away that Ra On is not the man who likes his sister; however, did not expose her. He asks her to become his person, to which she misunderstood as being his lover. Bwahaha.

 

If the writers will stay true to the novel, I guess that the humiliation happened with Hong Raon dressed as a man. Considering that Prince Hyomyeong in the novel is described as a tsundere prince (cold to everyone except those close to him), it is likely that Raon and Hyomyeong bickered the moment they met leading to Hyomyeong being humiliated. The humiliating scene may have something to do with Raon misunderstanding Hyomyeong's intentions. ^-^ 

I am also getting antsy about the seeming lack of promos in comparison to other dramas. Scarlet Ryeo has been releasing promo materials left and right, and it'll premiere 2 weeks later than Gurumi. I hope the promo team really steps it up after UF premieres. Competition is tight in kdramaland these days.

By the way, I'm liking that new picture of Jinyoung much better. The light blue garb he has on brightened the feel of the picture and he looks less glum. Yay!!! Thanks for the update, @bisous!

“Moonlight Drawn By the Clouds”

This is Park Bo Gum’s first return after tvN’s “Reply 1988,” which really shot him to fame, and Kim Yoo Jung’s first lead drama role. Based off of a web novel by Yoon Yi Soo, this is a story of young love between Park Bo Gum, a prince, and Kim Yoo Jung, a cross-dressing girl who ends up in the palace as a eunuch.

“Moonlight Drawn By the Clouds” airs next month, August 15.

The writer of “My Love From the Star,” Park Ji Eun, is back, and she’s brought together a pair of leads we probably thought we’d never see together. The drama is a fantasy romance that takes the motif of the mermaid story from Korea’s first historical storybook. No further details have been revealed about the characters or their romance, but until then, we have all these other dramas to invest our hearts in.

“Legend of the Blue Sea” is slated to air in November.

Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung build anticipation in new 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds' still cuts

The first stills for KBS2's upcoming drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" have been finally released. Recently, the drama's production staff released the stills of the two leading stars, Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung, enjoying a friendly moment in historical costumes.

 On June 29, the drama's production staff released the picture to multiple local news outlets. The released photographs obtained by Korea's Naver TV, gave fans a first look at Park and Kim's respective character in the television series.

In the still, Park wears a royal attire befitting his character in the drama, while Kim is strangely not dressed as a young lady. The photos were widely circulated on Facebook.

 

"1988" star will play the eldest child of King Sunjo (Kim Seung Soo) named Lee Yeong aka Crown Prince Hyomyeong. Park's character is described as an intelligent and handsome young man, who have an affinity towards music, arts and etiquette.

Kim, on the other hand, transforms into Hong Ra On, a young woman who disguises herself as a man and advise men on dating. Sudden twist and turn ensue when Hong Ra-On ends up cross-dressing as a eunuch of Lee Yeong. The drama marks Kim's first cross-dressing role.

Helmed by Kim Sung Yoon and Baek Sang Hoon, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" tells the coming-of-age story of Lee Yeong and the youthful romance between the latter and Hong Ra On during the 19th century of Joseon Dynasty. On May 26, the drama held its first script reading session at the KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea.

"It's a coming-of-age story set in the Joseon period, for which no historical records remain," a representative from KBS said in a statement obtained by The Korea Herald. "We expect Park to successfully portray Hyomyung's growth from youth to a revered Joseon leader."

The 20-episode upcoming TV series is based on the 2013-2014 web novel "Gooreumi Geurin Dalbit" by Yoon Yi Soo. The upcoming drama also stars Chae Soo Bin, Jinyoung, Lee Seo Won, Jung Hye Sung, Kim Seung Soo, Cheon Ho Jin and Jang Gwang.

B1A4's Jinyoung will play the charismatic and poised, Kim Yoon Sung, who is a scholar from a prestigious family. Jinyoung's character has an antagonistic relationship with Lee Yeong. "Cheer Up!" star Chae has been cast to play Jo Ha Yeon, who is the royal consort for Lee Yeong. It is said that Jo Ha Yeon is a pawn to her family's political ambitions.

The filming for the drama series began in early June. KBS2's "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" will begin airing on Aug. 15 at 10:00 PM (EST).

Just 'cause I can't contribute anything else, I'm just going to over analyze all of the pictures. Hehehe.

Instagram Update of Yoojung with the puppy - I actually initially thought this was for a CF, but I'm excited about the possibility that it's for MBDC (great sleuthing, @MaknaeC! Thanks!). The fabric of the hanbok looks sheer which may be scandalous for Joseon era, so I would guess it's for a photoshoot for MBDC... Or it could be that they're shooting a dream-like scene in the drama (Prince Hyomyeong dreaming of Hong Raon, anyone? Hehehe) that Yoojung has to wear the airy dress/hanbok and don a flower crown. Ahhh, thinking of all the possibilities makes me dizzy. 

Bogum with Satgat (conical hat) - I think it's the first time I've seen a prince or king wear a satgat with his princely/kingly robes on. Usually people wear conical hats instead of regular hats to conceal one's face, but with those robes on, it's like his identity is a dead giveaway already.  I am quite curious then how this goes about and for what purpose. Byeongyeon influenced Hyomyeong into wearing one? Or maybe Bogum just uses the hat to hide his identity while going about the set? Good luck with that, Bogum. Hehehe. 

Raon with Entourage - Raon no longer an eunuch? Or was this for a scene before she became an eunuch? Her clothes look shabby but the house they came out of looks like a house/compound of a noble. The white clothes and hat that the woman in blue-striped long sleeves is carrying looks like an outfit of someone in mourning. It also looks like what kings/royals would wear when praying or sacrificing something to the gods (also what they wear during an eclipse?).

Lee Young with fans - It looks like Bogum is wearing the white garb that the lady in stripes was carrying in previous photos. And he's wearing a satgat again instead of the hat the lady was carrying. I am now leaning towards the idea that Bogum wears it to go about the set. Kekeke. He looks so cute especially in the last picture. 

It's just a little over a month to go before the premiere. Usually first teasers for dramas are released a month before the airing of the first episode, so hopefully we'll get it next week. Excited!!!
