Loved this episode seriously! Also did anyone else notice that 13th and 4th came into the flogging area together??? I don't recall seeing 13th coming in with the rest of the Prince Pack, so does that mean he was with Wang So??? I hope he was, Wang So needs someone else in his brothers he can be on good terms with!!

from the clips i've seen this has got to be the episode that totally sealed my fate as a So2 shipper. I kinda ask myself if there's something wrong with me 'cause even if So was being harsh/cold towards Soo I totally find him adorable and I giggle as if he's being sweet to her already.

LJG i am at loss for words to describe you and your awesome facial expressions. An advantage of watching non subbed episodes is that we focus on how they act. I totally love LJG,can we give him that Baeksang already?!

junki acting was excellent esp early episode scene during he talk with his mom how bad family kang treat him like he's not a human but he's an animal. but his mom don't care what he felt. for her, WS is not her son. he's kang family.

WS look so sad & upset when her mom said, "i should say thank to you. Because of you, i got a good son. Wang Yo".

The emotional abuse suffered by Wang So from everybody (King, Queen, 8th and even 14th Prince) was quite unbearable to watch, which honestly makes anyone going through that in a killing mood. Yeon Hwa is truly sympathetic as it seems like she is actually quite a nice person just in the Goryeo era, everybody has to be standoffish and she conditions herself to be haughty and sarcastic to protect herself when she is actually rather vulnerable. If it was the modern era, Hae Soo and Yeon Hwa could possibly have become friends. Hopefully, there will be more depth to the character portraying her as a capable women of her own doing her part for her loved ones rather than the usual female second lead petty and jilted and jealous women. This is especially since in the C-version, Yong Zheng's wife was quietly supportive and was a virtuous queen .

In general, tonight's episode had a lot of miserable characters, 8th prince's wife who is upset and lonely and well aware of her husband's affections, 8th prince who tries to hide his feelings, 4th prince from all the mistreatment, Yeon Hwa whose loved ones seems to be gravitating away from her. It makes quite a compelling watch.

ahh...i missed all fun here and also could not watch the live stream..i slept just an hour before (waiting patiently for whole 6 hours before...my badluck) and then net was not helping at all.

so ill watch the raw first and then be back with my 2-3 cents.

Haesoo cousin give permission to WW to take Haesoo as his bride and ask Haesoo to take care of him.. i think cause she know WW love Haesoo and she is dying.. its so sad cause she really kind and like a mother to Haesoo..

tomorrow episode must be really sad.. and in preview when Haesoo doing her cousin make they both crying...

What a satisfying episode. The drama is sure picking up its momentum and most of all, I am beyond happy that this episode is full of Wang So. Give me more Lee Jun Ki, please. I view him on TV at so many different angles and goodness, this guy is so sizzling hawt. Tomorrow's episode will feature more 8th Prince and but as for now, this drama is getting me more excited. Just hope they will do better with the choice of music.

Thank you all for the recaps..I really loved it..but what made me a bit confuse is...if the production team didn't change the drama they sold to cable tv chanel outside SK..then what about the one that aired in live streaming? Is it mean that there will be 2 different version?oh..please don't..it could ruin the show I guess..

Today's ep was kyaaaaaaaaa!!!!

SOne Tv translation was acting up so I don't know exactly what they were saying but I kind of get it, still. I'm just glad that I can see Wook's face filled with anger, troubled, concerned and confusion all rolled into one. He knows exactly now what he's feeling for Soo and don't know what to do with it. He can't be with her but also can't be without her. His face when Soo got beaten by YH is trying to press the anger because there are other princes and maids there. But it eventually come out when he dashed away and wait for So to warn her that neither her sister or Soo is So's. It makes So wondered a little (that's what i interpreted his expression). His sister maybe ok to be out of touch. But Soo? He's just his wife cousin and maybe under his wing now but to say Soo is untouchable for others too is excessive. Wook begin his possesive obsessive full of jelousy journey. The way he jumped from his chair the minute he knows Soo is in trouble, he's expression when Soo hug 14th, his face on the bridge where he walk way pass her but stop and come back when she said she was hurt and when he wants to kiss her but failed because everybody who look for Soo arrived and when he banging his chest under the tree after that explain it all. Wook can't even eat in the same room with Soo now. KHN is really good with his gesture and expression because I can feel his frustation. I kind of feel him and want to pat his head. His wife said to get a second wife. I am pretty sure if Soo is a choice he'll say yes immediately. But Soo is not. He's position is not powerful enough for that. He has to married someone from powerful family not a nobody like Soo.

But on the other side, So too begin his love journey. We can see how Soo's words touch his heart and make him smile. Her words heals his wounded heart little by little. He rescued her from YH beating. He roughly said 'that girl is mine. That hair pin is also mine. I can do whatever I want with it'. YH asked if he likes Soo, but So only smile. Then He followed Soo and eventually save her and 14th. Wook came first but the enemy is too many. They were all running away when So come and draw his sword. He didn't even have to sweat and fight. His face was no better then Wook when Soo hugged 14th hahaha. The king granted So's wish to stay (Yeeeeiiii). He fixed the stones and was kind of taken back and touch at the same time when Soo wish him a good night sleep (I don't know about this one. There is NO translation here so I kind of use my limited Korean and might be wrong). The scene when they watched first snow together is so breath takingly beautiful. 

At the evil corner, I don't know who is more heartless: Queen Mother or YH. But this round won by Queen Mother. Oh my God. I can't even called her a mom.

almost cried watching that scene, he is so heartbroken and the mother is terrible! I wish I could hug him ... hiks... Poor Wang So...

i think they re-edited for Korean version that why when you watching thru livestream you didn't hearing rap song. 

they can't re-edited episodes to ONE Asia because ONE Asia already put in sub title (English, Chinese, Malay) in MLSHR drama.

if true, that mean they have 3 version (Korean, China, & One Asia)

I hope they came together too! Nam Joohyuk just suddenly showed up in the scene (just like Junki did). I was very surprised to see him suddenly. My first thought was, "When did you get here???"  I hope they teleported to the area together. XD Wang So needs more friends!!!

It seems like there will be two versions, unless the production team finish their work quickly and can send the new episodes out to the TV channels soon...or there might be a chance that they haven't sent out all the episodes yet (I think Game of Thrones does this? They give half and then give the other half later) so there may be some possibility that eventually everyone will be getting the same episodes.
