I have wrote it somewhere else and couldn't stop myself not to post it here as well. Hopefully, all the production team (especially for the writer and director as they are the crucial part in the successful of a drama) will remember what happened with SBS as a big motivator to deliver the best work for this project.

I am so happy about this *throwing confetti* :D

This is what i read on moon chaewon baidu bar: filming will start once casting for lju's guy friend is confirmed. Kim kang woo's role is a bad guy (infor fr mcw Dc).i wonder what song jaerim's role is then.

This drama should be up after Sweet Family (the drama after She Was Pretty). It is likely to be up against kbs's Descendants of the sun (song hye gyo, song joong ki). if not then the drama by kim woobin n suzy if DOS is not ready.

So this morning I was watching a Kim Kang Woo drama on KBSWorld. I wasn't really watching but I miss him way too much to change the channel while he's on. That lead me to look him up hoping he has a new project. And surprise surprise he is on board with my LJW and MCW! Life never seemed so pink. I wanted to read only the first post just to make sure if the MBC news was true but I ended up reading every single page in the thread  I can't word how excited I am for this. Anything I'd say would seem redundant since, duh, everyone here is almost as excited as I am obviously lol but still....I gotta say I'm so very excited! SBS, good riddance! After the obvious meddling in their latest YP, I don't want such network to ruin a possible favorite drama of mine. Kill Me Heal Me, She was Pretty, all are marvelous dramas MBC produced recently, I trust them to nurture my most anticipated drama for 2016 well.

Have a nice day everyone :D

I hope for the success of this drama and the production not to waste a great cast.

:Di wonder what song jaerim's role is then.

If my guess is correct, I think SJR will act as the FL's fiance in the later part of the story? Because based from his character info, he is an editor and it fits the description of the fiance from the original manhwa. But not sure how closely the writing will be compare to the manhwa.

Goodbye Mr. Black with Moon Chae Won and Lee Jin Wook Picked Up by MBC for Wed-Thurs Drama

I’m sure tons of folks will be thrilled to hear this drama news – Goodbye Mr. Blackhas been officially revived! I never thought it was totally dead, that makes no sense when the drama has a writing-directing team already and finished casting the main leads. Whereas when drama projects like the shelved Shin Mina rom-com Let’s Have Dinner Together get put on hiatus, it’s harder to revive when only one piece of the puzzle was in place.

Goodbye Mr. Black was basically a few steps from crossing the proverbial starting line when things blew up with original airing network SBS, now the drama is in the hands of rival network MBC. K-news is reporting that Goodbye Mr. Black has been picked up by MBC and will air in the Wed-Thurs time slot in early 2016. Even better news is that the originally cast leads of Lee Jin Wook, Moon Chae WonKim Kang Woo, and Song Jae Rim are all remaining onboard.

Right now MBC is airing rom-com She Was Pretty in the Wed-Thurs time slot, with the drama scheduled to wrap up its run in the first week of November. After that is the drama remake of K-movie Marrying the Mafia called Sweet Family (see the recently released script reading picture below). The drama Sweet Family has already cast Girl’s Day‘s Mina as the young female lead (groan), daughter to Jung Woong In and Yoo Sun‘s mob couple. The rival mob parents are played by Jung Joon Ho and Moon Jung Hee, and it basically reads as a drama comedy about gangster parents and their kids Romeo and Juliet romance. That means Goodbye Mr. Black will likely follow Sweet Family and air in the first weeks of January 2016.

I agree. I'm actually glad that SBS dropped it and MBC picked it up. I still can't get over the way TMS and its awesome OTP were treated at the awards event that year. GXnEj2i.gif

Thank you MBC!

Team GMB/MCW/LJW...FIGHTING!!!!
