Frankly speaking, 2014 is not a great year for Korean dramas in the big three channels. Ratings were hovering in low 10s. The media should start to report the online (streaming) ratings because nowadays younger people are watching their favorite dramas online / on their cellphones. CPI (Content Power Index) is also a great tool to measure the drama’s popularity based on direct search ranking, news subscription ranking & buzz ranking. 

SBS decided to combine all their end-of-year events (drama awards, entertainment awards, gayo awards) in one event “SBS Award Festival” – although these three shows will be held on three different dates. KBS is the only one who didn’t make any changes to their drama award ceremony.

Episode 16 made me tear upEpisode 17 made me want to tear something up....
The last few episodes had all the cliches of a kdrama
- the dramatic breakup scene where breaking your heart is to really save your life- the rush around airport scene (just to get to a service desk?)- the fake departure and within a short time frame, everyone knows where you are...including the villain- the dramatic U turn scene that must appear in every kdrama- the being caught with the rival by your lover so there is a staring scene just before the music rolls in to signify the end of an episode
I'm still such a sucker though for what happens next =))
Only one thing...I really hope HMH smirks less in the next episode. He should win a smirking award should there ever be one...
