Episode 14 = Daniel's Episode I love the episode bcz it made me knowing D's Story & showing other side from his character , I want to say Gun shouldn't be passive I wish to see his jealousy side that will push him to bring back MY , I love D's proposal if I were MY I will say Yes ,I love the brilliant idea in it & I applaud that D's confessed & proposed to her not being the gentleman & passive 2nd lead waiting a miracle to happen bcz he loves the female lead without telling her :-<

Waiting next episode is really hard but I am pissed from Production of FTLY drama bcz those scenes which didn't appeared if you saw at the end of Ep 14 the brought Gun , MY & D Scenes from the previous episodes , in Ep 9 at the Auction when D & MY enter the Auction they cut it & discovered at the end of Ep 14 that Gun saw them he & D have cute fighting who  take MY's arm to escort her :-O seriously there are a lot of missed scenes I don't love how they are cutting  every scene like that also at the end of Ep 12 in airport when he saw her I don't know he knew her or what?????& How did Know that she Ellie Kim ?????? 
I wish to know some answers rather than useless cutting  :-B

@itzibitzispider Thanks for that info... it's been years since I watched the original and never rewatched it so some of the details are pretty vague. But anyway, I think Gun's illness would play a role, unlike in the other series in which you mentioned

he used the illness as some sort of leverage.

The thing that I see in this version is that once MY found out his illness and put it together she would realize that her husband is a noble idiot. 

It's a sign of how gaga I am over this OTP when my heart skips a beat over the words "her husband".

Even if the remaining eps go all out cray cray Makjang, I think you will see me hanging on to the bitter soggy end just to hear her call him that.

Episode 14 has many sweet moments felt it from the heart,may be my illusion that the slow episode compared to the previous episode(ep13) also looks better.
It's not funny like ep13 but I liked many scenes in this episode including this conversation between LG ~~~KY

@NileRose, I think LG recognized her at the airport because he's been spying on her for the past 3 years.  He already knew about her exhibition which is why he arranged to go on a "business" trip to the place where the exhibition was held.  Also, I think he was just really surprised to see her at the airport and he had one of those meta moments where he said OMG she's even more beautiful.
This just may be my over active imagination but, maybe they showed all those cut scenes at the end of episode 14 to show the beginning od the end of the DP-MY affair.  To show that LG is going to fight for his beautiful snail.  Sort of like this is the turning point in the drama...LG goes after MY.  If it goes like the original then we should be in for some fum LG-MY moments next few episodes.

I agree with LG leaving the painting behind and walking out the door it would be out of character if he didn't walk out that door... the question is~ is he going to do it before or after he hears her answer.  I also think that once he leaves the painting MY will notice it and  run after the person to try to meet whom she thinks is a woman, but will probably only see his back walking out of the front door of that building or a car driving away. And several things could happen after that

1) She will either figure out who it was

2) Try to meet that person again

3) meets her mom before she leaves and finds out some LG information

4) Since she's suppose to leave the next day ~ LG may find the courage to meet her and perhaps she doesn't end up meeting with Daniel at the airport.

Either way I hope she finds out about LG in the next 2 episodes, and they reconcile their differences. He has really humbled himself... I wanted to cry when he bowed before DP It took a lot for him to do that (that wouldn't of happened 3 years ago)...And it breaks my heart to see him so emotional and mentally tortured.. He can't forget/forgive himself for what he did even though she forgave him a long time ago, but she doesn't know why he did it....Her life went on and time stopped for him...I'm in awe of his character, so much resolve

But they had to show us this side of him so that we can see his suffering from the choice he made.  Because Sera may of contributed 25% or less, but ..LG was ultimately responsible for that accident their were so many things that he could of done differently to change their fate, however, if you had to get technical if My had not left the house that day despite her being dragged out ..none of this probably would of happened. 

I think I'm going to watch their earlier episodes again so that I can be happy again ...  because I miss their smiles 8->

Totally love this drama! The storyline, the great ost songs, all is just wonderful! I love the beautiful, meaningful proposal from Daniel, but we all know where MY's heart belongs! Gun is soooooo freaking hot with his new haircut...him in the black suit with shades on is freaking delicious!! Can't wait for next Wednesday!!

One thing I that touch me is the conversation between Lee Gun and Daniel at the cafe, they are in reverse role now. Daniel is telling Gun to back off Mi Young, and he respectfully surrender and give a heartfelt gratitude bow to Daniel which made him annoyed. I remember when 3 years back Gun is the one who is telling Daniel to back off because she is his, but Daniel said shamelessly that he got eyes for her. I mean WTF! For Pites' sake she is a marrieds woman! But now that he is just courting her he is telling her ex husband to back off, but one thing that really thrill me is the reaction of Daniel when he was flagbaster when Gun said that it's ok with him even when Daniel told him that he like MY. Hahaha the reaction was priceless! He thought that Gun will still an immature man that will try to separate them, he didn't know that he was once a father to his baby, and up until now he kept his child alive inside his heart. That is why Gun still deserve to have Mi Young, Daniel will be still forever be the third wheel.

What's funny is that, not only Grandma Wang wants him to have another "accident", he himself wants another "accident" with MY.  =))  That is why he reserved room 2006 for the last 3 years. Hoping he could find MY in the room and have another night with her...Awww... *melts my heart. And I love how to him, she is Kim Mi Young, not Ellie. Ellie is Daniel's. Wouldn't it be so nice if it were like that? The happier these moments appear in their minds, the more pain it comes with, knowing would could have been but isn't. But no matter how hurtful, she has come into their lives and when she left, she was engraved into the crevices of their broken hearts. To them, she will always exist and just knowing that mends together the pieces of their hearts. But though a wound can be healed, it can never return to what it was before. A scar that is only visible to the two of them remains, a scar they share together. Only they can understand each other's pain. That is why there is no

other one for them besides each other.

Notice how before, they referred to their baby as a boy? Because they believed he would grow up to be the successor of Gun's company. But right now, that doesnt even matter anymore, and so he has become a girl is their mind.

I love how though dog poopie has left about two episodes ago, it is as if she is still there because she is close to their hearts. I can sense her presence around them, because she lives on in their hearts. She remains as precious as the memories she brought. And these memories will bring them back together.

Concerning the picture "Le Soupir" :
The one Gun bought and the one he got delivered aren't the same.The one in the exhibition was on canvas, it was thicker and not framed.True you can frame a canvas painting, too, but it is seldom that it is done.The one Gun is holding up is thinner, behind glass (that's not done with canvas), has a passepartout-look (means a white frame around the actual picture) and there is a back (probably cardboard or plywood).
My guess is that the original artist either made to many restrictions or was unwilling to give the original for further filming, so Gun got a reprint of the artwork.And a print it is.

This is my very last comment on this, as  there is no point in further dragging this out, but there is still a fundamental difference between what Daniel did in the confessional and what Geon did - SHE called Daniel a priest and he said nothing, letting her assume it. Geon actively lied, right from the very beginning, by giving a false name and address when buying the painting - that's when he started lying about being a woman.  For me, a lie is a lie is a lie.
