Park Seo Joon And Kim Ji Won Confirmed As Leads For Upcoming KBS Drama

Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won will be starring in KBS’s upcoming drama titled “Fight My Way” (tentative title).

“Fight My Way” is a romance drama that shares the story of two young people who try to take the paths they want in life despite the harsh reality that keeps bringing them down.

Park Seo Joon will be playing Go Dong Man, a former taekwondo player who used to be famous but ends up becoming a nameless mixed martial arts fighter. Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won will play the role of Choi Ae Ra, a woman who works at a department store’s info desk but dreams of becoming a news anchor.

The two characters have known each other for a long time, and they are such good friends that they can even joke about each other’s past break-ups. The drama aims to capture viewers’ hearts with a realistic romance story, rather than a sugar-coated one.

Próximo drama de KBS “Lucha My Way” (título provisional), que previamente anunció el casting del  Parque Seo Joon y Kim Ji Won como los papeles principales, recientemente reveló imágenes de su primer guión de lectura a través.     

La lectura de un texto se llevó a cabo el 24 de marzo en una sala de ensayo en el edificio de la KBS. El director, Lee Na Jung, estuvo presente además del elenco principal: Parque Seo Joon, Kim Ji Won, Ahn Jae Hong , Song Ha Yoon, Kim Sung Oh , y Choi Woo Shik .   

Lee Na Jung dijo, “Gracias por hacer que hoy en día muy divertido y lleno de energía. El tema de la producción es 'la libertad de la juventud', por lo que quiero que todos puedan compartir libremente sus ideas con los demás.”

“Lucha mi manera” pretende contar una historia de amor real entre las personas en las “ligas menores” de la vida, que no tienen carreras brillantes en los ojos del mundo, pero perseverar en vivir la vida de la manera que desee, independientemente de lo que la gente piensa.

Parque Seo Joon desempeña Ir Dong Man, que puede ser todo lo crecido físicamente, pero sigue siendo infantil de actitud. Durante la secuencia de comandos de lectura a través, que hizo reír al elenco con su punto-en línea de la entrega. Kim Ji Won Choi juega Ae Ra, que está siempre dispuesto con una remontada y, a veces tiene problemas para filtrar sus palabras. La secuencia de comandos de lectura a través se informó de que un ambiente joven y lleno de energía. Después de uno de los actores leer la línea, “Pido un aplauso,” los otros actores comenzaron a aplaudir comenzó espontáneamente a lo largo. El reparto también tarareaba su propia música de fondo donde se sentían los OST deben ir más tarde en la producción.

“Abrirme paso” está escrito por Im Sang Choon. Saldrá al aire en mayo tras el final de “ Perfect Wife ”.

Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won To Star In New Romantic-Comedy

The romantic comedy will tell the tale of a blossoming romance between two childish adults.

 

Upcoming KBS drama Fight My Way will tell the story about a pair of best friends, Ko Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) and Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won), who love to pick on each other but will also defend each other at a moments notice.

 

Ko Dong Man is a martial-arts athlete who aspired to fight at the highest levels and Choi Ae Ra dreamed of becoming the world’s first female MMA announcer. Once they reached the working life, neither of them were where they hoped to be, but they won’t let that stop them from pursuing their dreams. As they chase their dreams, a romance between the two will unfold.

Park Seo Joon commented on the nature of his character, Ko Dong Man.

“Rather than try living up to other’s standards, Ko Dong Man lives a life of his own values. He is a character who lives life to the fullest as he knows himself the best.”

Kim Ji Won classified her character, Choi Ae Ra, as courageous and hard working.

“Choi Ae Ra is a courageous woman who does her best in any situation she can and doesn’t give in to reality. She gives off a lovely feeling and knows how to find happiness from even the smallest of things. She is honest and blunt about expressing her feelings.”

Ahn Jae Hong and Song Ha Yoon round out the main cast for the drama. Fight My Way will begin airing on May 8 at 10 pm KST.
