In a recent poll carried out by a wedding information firm on 1,200 users (600 males, 600 females) from their 20s to 40s and are single as the target group, they were polled on which celebrity (Korean and overseas) they would like to meet the most on Valentine’s Day. In the end, Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Tae Hee came out on top respectively with 16.7% and 8.33% of the total votes cast.

This was Kim Tae Hee’s 3rd consecutive time winning the poll, having won it in 2011 and 2012. Coming in behind Kim Tae Hee were Jun Ji Hyun (6%), Kim Yuna (5.67%), Suzy of miss A (3.33%), while Lee Yeon Hee and Korean president Park Geun Hye both obtained 3% each. Meanwhile, coming in behind Kim Soo Hyun were So Ji Sub (6%), Hyun Bin (4.33%), Gong Yoo (3%), while Lee Seung Gi and Zo In Sung both obtained 2.67% each.

In the overseas female celebrity chart, Miranda Kerr came out on top with 7.33% of the total votes. Angeline Jolie (5%), Amanda Seyfried (4.67%), Scarlett Johansson (3.33%), and Emma Watson (3%) followed closely behind.

In the overseas male celebrity chart, Leonardo DiCaprio came out on top with 10% of the total votes. Brad Pitt (9.33%), American president Obama (4.67%), Johnny Depp (4%), and Tom Cruise (3.67%) followed closely behind.

The Swiss tourism agency has chosen South Korean entertainers Kim Tae-hee and Lee Wan as goodwill ambassadors for the year 2005.

The entertainers have been appointed "Swiss Friends," commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, according to Switzerland Tourism.

During a ceremony held on the ice rink in front of Seoul City Hall, Christian Hauswirth, Swiss ambassador to South Korea, presented the stars with snowboards, the Korea Times reported Saturday.

The sibling actors will visit Switzerland in April or May on a cultural mission.

We have seen how close KTH and her brother, Lee Wan are in my earlier postings. LW is adorable as a little brother and KTH just dots on him. 
Their news and information may be seen as off topic but what I am trying to do is to convey to those who are new and curious about KTH, the disposition of KTH as gleaned from videos and pictures. Through the videos, news and pictures, we could see how sweet, gentle, quiet, polite and caring a person KTH is. One also can't miss her naiveness and mannerism of a very well-brought-up daughter. She does not flaunt her smartness. As she has said, she is also a human. She has her flaws like anyone else. 
All this while I have always taken it for granted of KTH's popularity as an ideal type to many Korean men. By watching all the videos that I have recently posted, I understand better now why she is an ideal girl to the many Korean men. 
KTH stands out as a few of her admirers have said. I would say, yes she stands out, in her own quiet and dignified ways. 
KTH and LW have collaborated as endorsers of some brands before LW was drafted for his MS in 2010. After his discharge in May 2012, he and KTH were appointed as endorsers for PNS, a Korean brand for doors and windows. I will post articles and videos of them on these collaborations some other time. 
In this posting, I will have a few more pictures of KTH's mother, sister and LW, article of LW as sibling of KTH and being drafted for MS, videos and articles of KTH visiting LW at the army barracks and LW thanking KTH for her support to him while at MS at his discharge (as always, he never fails to playfully dig at his sister) and articles on humorous incidences involving LW while at MS, accounted by his former army mates. The videos and articles reveal more of the siblings' closeness.

The sexy Lee Wan (real name is Kim Hyung-soo) is lucky to have a famous older sister- Kim Tae-hee. It was because of her status as a star that his own life was breeze during school in his hometown of Ulsan. On the SBS program, “Live TV Stars” on October 15^th, the 24 year old confessed that he got away easy on many things. When he accidentally hit his “sonbae” (older classmate or worker) with a ball, instead of getting beat up, nothing happened because he was “Kim Tae-hee’s little brother.”

Living with the label served him well while growing up but when he wanted to become a star, the actor decided to step outside his sister’s shadow with the new name, “Lee Wan”.

Lee Wan will star in the upcoming flick, “Boys don’t cry” (소년은 울지않는다) about the story of Korea right after the War in 1953. “Boys don’t cry” sweeps into theaters on November 6^th.

Actress Kim Tae-hee visited her brother Lee Wan at the army.

On an online community, two pictures were uploaded on the 12th under the title, "Kim Tae-hee visits brother, the base is a festival".

In the pictures, Kim Tae-hee is widely smiling and signing something with her brother Lee Wan next to her. With the peer wearing the signed T-shirt, Lee Wan is smiling brightly and shouting 'fighting!' amongst other soldiers.

The reason why the pictures are such an issue is because, when Lee Wan was entering the army he requested 500 autograph's from his sister and she had mentioned once on a TV program, "I am preparing for it and I will go visit him anytime he wants me to".

Netizen's say, "You kept your promise Kim Tae-hee", "Did she really sign 500 autographs?", "I envy the soldiers", "Has your army life become better a bit?" and more.

Kim Tae Hee sent a standing wreath to her brother Lee Wan to congratulate him on being discharged from the army.

On April 23 at 9:00 a.m., an event to celebrate Lee Wan’s discharge from the army was held at the Defense Agency for Public Information Services. Many reporters and his Japanese fans came to the event despite the bad weather. At the event, Lee said he felt sad because of his sister Kim.

Lee said, “My sister didn’t come to see me although she lives near by. I gave her a call before I was discharged, but she didn’t ask anything about me but only talked about her broken computer.”

However, Kim congratulated her brother on being discharged from the army by sending a standing wreath with the words “Good job, Brother. Welcome back.”

Lee also got laughs, saying, “My sister actually helped me a lot. When I was serving in the military, I gave nearly 2,000 autographs of my sister away so I could have an easy time in the military.”

  He was discharged on the 12th at 8:30 AM and said, "The interest that comes to us while we are in the army is slightly different than usual".

  Lee Wan is Kim Tae Hee’s little brother, but he never seems to want to talk about his sister. It probably stems from a want to stand independently as an actor and a concern that he may unintentionally harm his sister’s image. 
  
  Sometimes, however, he′s totally fine with using his sister. Kim Ji Suk, who used to serve as Lee Wan’s senior soldier in the army, recently revealed an interesting fact about Lee Wan and his very famous sister.
  
  On the April 17 broadcast of SBS’ Strong Heart, Kim Ji Suk said, “Because Lee Wan is Kim Tae Hee’s little brother, we often ask him about his sister, but he’s always hesitant to talk about her.”
  
  When a group of PR unit soldiers, a group which included Lee Wan and Kim Ji Suk, once left the division for a leave and met a group of girls for a blind date, however, Kim Ji Suk saw Lee Wan do something he had never done before. Lee Wan gave a jaw-dropping answer to a girl in the other group when she asked Lee Wan whether his sister really is beautiful.
  
  “You’re 20,000 times more beautiful,” Lee Wan had said. 
  
  Kim Ji Suk quipped, “With that one sentence, the girls all fell for Lee Wan. Kim Tae Hee’s little brother is saying you’re more beautiful than Kim Tae Hee; who wouldn’t fall for that?”
  
  Won’t Lee Wan get angry at Kim Ji Suk for telling these stories when he himself has no say? Kim Ji Suk explained that he already got permission from Lee Wan to talk about him on television. Rain’s little sister reveals his first letter from the army



Rain's younger sister updated her minihompy recently, and shared a letter from Rain with his fans.

On October 15th, Rain's sister, Jung Hana, revealed that she received a package and a letter from her famous big brother. She wrote, "A package came today. I didn't have any thoughts about it since receiving it but after reading the letter, I cried. He wrote, 'You are my most loved sibling in the world'...He also told me to give Baekgu [his dog] a bath which caused me to laugh hysterically. Haha. He said, 'Lock your doors, be careful at night, be careful of cars'...I'm doing really well so I told him not to worry."

She later added, "I feel more secure because of his letter. Even so, he naturally adapts to things well and his will is strong. He's the kind of oppa that does everything well!...Anyway, to all of his fans: oppa is doing well so don't worry about him too much."

Relieved, fans responded, "Thank you for telling us this news! I'm glad to hear he's doing well", "Please keep us updated often about any news from him!", and "You must have worried a lot since you're his little sister! Thank you for keeping the fans updated!"
