J,Wide-Company denies false rumors about their artists having relations with cult

The J,Wide-Company's side clarified that the rumors about the company's artists being related to a cult were untrue.

On March 4, J,Wide-Company's representative said, "Recently, we have confirmed that the false rumors saying our artists are involved in a particular cult are being spread widely on SNS and other online communities. In this regard, we plan to take tough legal actions against malicious posts that deliberately slander our artists as well as the act of creating vicious rumors based on those posts."

The agency emphasized, "In addition, we will constantly monitor any acts that harm the artists' honor and dignity in various forms to prevent further damage. Our company will conduct legal procedures as soon as we discover these acts." They also added, "The above rumors are completely untrue."

Earlier, a list of artists believed to be followers of this particular cult was spread through phone messages and sparked controversies in the public. The artists who were named on this list have announced that they will take strong legal actions against the aforementioned groundless rumors.
