Outdoor outfits pretty popular in SK, so I would say it’s again CF targeted for general population^_^

Hi serenilmauve,  I couldn't agree with you more - Shinsegae department store 8Floor near Myeongdong area, you can find them all. Popular brands are Eider, Lafuma, Nepa, Black Yak, and Nike. But, K2 is the most popular among them all. During the survey last March last year, around 18.8 percent of respondents stated that K2 was their favorite outdoor clothing brand.

Mr. Trot variety show blocking it from the 1st place, but difference in numbers so far minimal.

serenilmauve, also, thanks for sharing this. One of the factors that have improved the visibility of "Itaewon Class" on the Good Data Report aside from the wide variety of big emotional scenes is the transgender plotline involving the character played by Lee Joo-young. This is the biggest one according to Naver. The drama has been a strong performer for jTBC with strong ratings.

“Fight For My Way” Was Actually Based On The True Story Of Choo Sung Hoon and His Wife

The entire story was inspired by this celebrity couple.

Lim Sang Chun, the writer of Fight My Way, revealed that Choo Sung Hoon and his wife, Yano Shiho, inspired him to write the series.

He explained that he was saddened yet moved by Yano Shiho’s tears whenever she cried for Choo Sung Hoon during his fights.

He realized that athletes like Choo Sung Hoon had families and children, yet were only portrayed as cold-blooded fighters.

In order to address these misconceptions, he wrote the series to show that martial arts fighters weren’t as cold as people thought.

‘Itaewon Class’ finds wide appeal on TV: Loyal fans of the hit web comic praise the JTBC show for being spot-on

“The victim of a big company’s abuse of power overcame a hardship and managed to open his own business,” Jo Yi-seo says at the beginning of episode 11 of the hit drama series “Itaewon Class” currently airing on JTBC. “It’s an inspiring story. And everyone loves success stories like this.”

What the character says has proven to be true. Based on the popular web comic of the same name, the story is a simply structured revenge story of a young man and his start-up pub fighting against his powerful opponent Jang Dae-hee, the perpetrator of his father’s death who is also a CEO of Jangga, the largest food conglomerate in Korea.

But a successful novel or web comic with a devoted following doesn’t always translate into a hit on television or in theaters. Dedicated fans can be picky about how their favorite characters are portrayed on screen and sensitive to changes in the plot.

But the potential success of “Itaewon Class” may have been previewed when fans rejoiced at the news that the web comic’s cartoonist, Gwang Jin, would be participating as a scriptwriter for the drama series.

After the first episode aired at the end of January, fans took to the web to say that they were blown away by the story and the characters. What fans were most amazed by was how well the actors portrayed their characters.

The latest episode drew a 13.4 percent viewership rating, an impressive rating for a show on cable television. The channel has not had such high ratings since the finale of the hit drama “SKY Castle” last year.
