Golden Thumb Picture released official statement: Yoochun and Son Hyun Joo are confirmed to be the casts of Three Days. Son Hyun Joo will begin his filming next week when Yoochun will start mid January. All the preparation steps are done.

Three Days is expected to be the best drama ever of Kim Eun Hee. There won't be overnight shooting. The set enviroment will also be reasonable to ensure a solid drama.

- The casting, the set location, the martial art training are prepared for half year and now are completed. Official filming will start no later than next week.
- Three main casts including Park Yuchun,Son Hyun Joo and Park Ha Sun already attended the script reading last month and had a lot of expectation on this work.
- Three Days is expected to be the most completed and greatest work of the writer so far because most of outdoor scenes will be preshot. there will not be late script or overnight shooting and the shooting environment will be reasonable to ensure the quality of the drama.
- Both sides of drama and movie that Yuchun is in have to adjust their own schedule and give in to help Yuchun appear in btoh.

SBS has confirmed filming schedule has been successfully adjusted and Park Yuchun will join the filming from the middle of January.

SBS confirmed that the preparation for the casting, location search, and etc. are all done and completed finally after half a year. Also SBS confirmed that the drama has 16 episodes and the script for episode 6 is already completed. The script for Episode 10 would be completed by the time the drama airs.

The production company said that during the script reading last month, the casts including Yuchun sighed at how this would be scriptwriter's greatest work yet. The filming started early because there are many outdoor shoots and to avoid broken scripts that'll be given to the casts just minutes before or in overnight shoots.

SBS’s upcoming drama Three Days, starring JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun will begin filming at the end of this month.

According to Goldensome Pictures, the drama producer, “All preparation to start filming, including casting, finding and building the filming site and training for fight scenes have been completed. We will begin filming in the beginning of next week, to start the journey to last about half the year.”

It has been reported that scripts have been written up to episode 6 in the 16-episode long series. Up to ten episodes will have been written before it begins broadcasting in order to give ample time for the cast to prepare themselves for filming.

“The main members of cast, including Park Yoo Chun, Son Hyun Joo and Park Ha Sun were all inspired by the quality of the scripts, which have been prepared by the writer for over two years,” said a rep from the production company. “We are trying to start filming early in order to avoid pulling all-nighters and allow the cast to act under good condition.”

About the rumors that Park Yoo Chun’s casting has been nullified, SBS stated, “There were some issues regarding his schedule overlapping for the movie and the drama but we were able to fine-tune the schedules so that he can focus on doing both. He is confirmed to act in the drama now.”

Three Days is about a president who goes missing after three rounds of gun shot, and each episode will unfold the mystery surrounding the president′s disappearance.

The first episode is set to air in February of 2014.

Just last week, C-JeS Entertainment expressed uncertainty towards Park Yoochun’s appearance in the new SBS’ Wednesday – Thursday drama, “Three Days.”

However, an industry insider revealed to a Korean media outlet, “Park Yoochun has confirmed his role in the drama. The drama will begin filming in January.”

On December 11, a rep from C-JeS Entertainment claimed due to the drama being postponed and then going back to its original schedule created uncertainty towards Park Yoochun’s appearance in the drama.

Park Yoochun is currently working with a busy schedule having to fulfil his individual activities as well as JYJ activities both in Korea and overseas.

After much deliberation, SBS has confirmed to air the drama in February 2014, and fans will be able to meet Park Yoochun through their home screens in “Three Days.”

Meanwhile, “Three Days” was written by Kim Eun Hee, the writer behind “Sign” and “Phantom,” and directed by Shin Kyung Soo who directed “Deep Rooted Tree.”

21December2013 [NEWS] A Present For Park Yoochun Fans: His Drama Starts Filming Soon


Park Yoochun fans may be happy to learn that it’s just a matter of days before his new drama “Three Days” starts filming.

There was some doubt last month that the JYJ singer and actor would be able to participate in the drama “Three Days,” due to his scheduled activities with JYJ and his responsibilities toward the film “Sea Fog.” He originally agreed to be in the drama but production delays created scheduling conflicts. Fortunately all obstacles to his involvement have been resolved.

“There were some issues regarding his overlapping schedule for the movie and the drama but we were able to fine-tune the schedules so that he can focus on doing both,” said an SBS representative.” His role in the drama is confirmed now.”

All the drama’s major roles have been cast, film production has a start date, and the drama is expected to air early in 2014.

“All preparation for filming, including casting, finding and building the film site and training for the fight scenes is complete,” said a representative of Goldensome Pictures, the drama’s production company. “We begin filming soon and expect filming to last about half a year.”

Six episodes in the 16-episode series have already been written and the drama’s stars, were said to be impressed with their quality. Writer Kim Eun Hee, who also wrote “Phantom” and “Sign” has been working on the first six episodes of “Three Days” for the last two years. Now that the drama has the go-ahead, he will have to quickly complete a few more episodes. Ideally, at least 10 episodes need to be written before shooting starts, so the actors can prepare for their parts and the crew can ready the sets and acquire necessary props.

A few rehearsals have already taken place and the production company is eager to get started.

“We want to start filming early to avoid pulling all-nighters and allow the cast to act in the best possible conditions,” said the Goldensome Pictures representative.

The cast now includes Park Ha Sun, last seen in “Two Weeks,” So E Hyun, last seen in “Who Are You?” and Yoon Je Moon, who appeared in “King 2 Hearts.” The action thriller concerns the disappearance of President Lee Dong Hwi, played by Son Hyun Joo, who appeared in “Empire of Gold.” When the president is visiting his vacation villa, he is kidnapped and disappears.

Park Yoochun plays one of President Lee’s bodyguards. He must try to find out what happened to the president. So E Hyun plays a SWAT Team agent and Park Ha Sun will play a police officer. Park Yoochun and Park Ha Sun will team up to find the president and return him safely to the Blue House.

Yoochun confirmed to have worked his scheduling conflict out and will star in 'Three Days'

Following some ups and downs in the news of JYJ member Yoochun's possible starring in the upcoming SBS Wed-Thurs drama 'Three Days' due to his scheduling conflict with his film 'Sea Fog', it has finally been confirmed that he will indeed be starring in the drama as originally planned

The drama's production agency rep told Newsen on December 20, "Yoochun's casting wasn't declined. It was in talks and after discussion, the casting has been confirmed." His agency C-JeS Entertainment also assured fans that even though his movie schedule puts him in a sticky situation, Yoochun will make the time to star in 'Three Days'.

'Three Days' is directed by 'Deep-Rooted Tree's Shin Kyung Soo and written by 'Sign' and 'Phantom's Kim Eun Hee. The drama will center on the bodyguards' race to find the President (Son Hyun Joo) when he goes missing after shots are fired. Yoochun will play the role of elite bodyguard Han Tae Kyung, while Park Ha Sun will play the role of policewoman Yoon Bo Won. 

'Three Days' will premiere following 'You Who Came From the Stars' this coming February.

yipee <:-P finally it's confirmed. so 3days will have only 16 episode? after the negotiation with sbs they reduce the episode? if i'm ot mistake 3days suppose to have 20 episode. hopefully scripwriter will stick with original storyline & not to change the script due to pressure

sbs really has good year. but i doubt three days will continue the success because all the hit drama from sbs mainly focus in romance with good storyline. while three days theme quite heavy, dry with politic theme and romance will not be their focus.
