Can anyone pls explain to me what the "state" Myung was? Why was Joseon so happy when Qing defeated it? Thanks...

Injo was very angry at crown prince, he scolded him, threw things at him..etc
crown prince was standing outside but couldnt do anything to explain

later when Injo left, crown prince seemed like he didnt understand why Injo was this angry at him
he cried and asked his wife:'' you said father was waiting for me to come back to Josen?''

meanwhile Lady Jo was at King's quarters, she told him some lies about the crown princess
she suggested her plan by asking the King to part crown prince and princess
she also ordered Court lady Kim to change Queen's court lady. lady Jo court lady Park will take care of the Queen from now on

King ordered Crown princess to leave
Crown prince was sick , upon hearing the news, he cried and begged in tears
her 2 eldest sons was running out to hug her for the last time
she told her eldest son, Sukchul to stay close to his father and protect him
when she left she looked back and said:'' yeah, I am taking a step back for you highness to step one step closer to the throne''

at King's quarters Lady Jo kept telling lies, King asked whether the crown prince left or not?
Lady Jo sighed and said what is the use if she left but her sons are still staying next to their father
she suggested the King to do something
middle of their talk, KJJ entered and the 2 kept playing their play for Injo to believe them

Crown princess is back at her house with her brothers.
her brothers told her to do something to win back her power

Crown prince was sick but he wanted to do something to get crow princess back to the palace
but Kim In begged him not to

back at crown princess's place, her brothers already left, she had a talk with her uncle, her uncle compliments her that its good that she is waiting instead of doing something
she told her uncle that she thinks KJJ is the one who is behind all of this
KJJ wants crown prince to be ..xxx
then she said:'' one day of crown prince '''' she couldnt say the word and ended up crying

meanwhile KJJ had a meeting with the royal doctors
he asked them to think a plan
KJJ ordered them to do something

The Qing Translator is now working with KJJ
Nam Hyuk was drinking at a restaurant, he heard people talking about Injo, crown prince and how Lady Jo controls the King
he also heard them talking about the rumors of her children
last scene Lady Jo suggested King to do something, but King was angry, she didnt scared and scoled back *end**

KJJ made some deal with the Qing translator
Jo Ki was worried about KJJ's plan, KJJ explained his plan and Jo Ki got shocked

Lady Jo suggest Injo to do something to Crown prince, Injo was angry at her, but after hearing her reasons
Injo shed tears and was willing to do according to her plan
meanwhile crown princess' brothers are ready to start a strike
the brother said that they couldnt wait because of the crown prince's safety, but crown princess told them to wait
KJJ gathered his soldiers while crown princess is planning something as well

Crown prince is teaching his son some lesson
shot doctor was ordered to treat crown prince
later he reported to Lady Jo what he did to crown prince
**I skipped some parts* last scene was when Crown prince died, Lady Jo was so happy that she cried she said she wanted to see Crown princess' face at this time.
everyone was crying and crown princess couldnt do anything but reads a book and tries to tell herself that its all a lie that her husband died.
