ES asks: “When can we leave”

CY says: “After I give some orders, we can go immediately”

ES is ecstatic and covers her mouth in glee.

CY asks if she is that happy and she nods. She rushes off to get ready

CY smiles to see how happy ES was with the idea of shopping. She vigorously nods yes and Young smiles to see her so happy. (These two are too cute hahaha ES is like every other girl who loves to shop and spend the boyfriend’s money. Daejang is like the best boyfriend ever period!!! PD I hate your stinky a** seriously. Our shopping date!!! Urghhhhhhh Stab Stab Stab)

CY walks over the antidote cultures as ES is gathering her clothes to change.

CY asks her: “You still have not given up, have you?”  

ES asks: “What?”  

CY says: “Making your antidote, and remaining in this world…..”

ES turns around and replies with determination: “Just wait. I will make it.”

CY says: “You won’t give up, will you? Any of it”

ES replies with a smile: “So get used to it, don’t resist”

Scene cut

In the palace office GM is trying to focus on his work but NG, LC and DC are excitedly talking about something.

GM feeling out of the loop taps the scroll on his desk to get their attention.

NG gets up and walks over to him and asks if he would like to go outside to draw today. GM still unsure wonders why they should go outside to draw. NG explains that if they went outside to draw then they will need escorts. This means CY will have to come to guard GM. NG wants to ask if ES can come too just in case she catches a cold due to the chill. 

GM still does not get it so NG tells GM straight forwardly that she wants to give CY and ES an opportunity to spend some time together. NG says ES and CY do not have many days left until their separation.

NG turns around for support from LC. LC steps forward saying that since GM has been busy taking care of state affairs day and night he should take a short break.

GM says: “So it appears that they cannot procure an antidote for ES”

NG replies: “Yes”

GM says: “Then ES will return home”

NG replies: “She will have to”

GM says: “I am afraid of what will come afterwards, what will become of the Daejang”

LC replies: “He is the captain, he will not waver because of one woman” (LC I thought you understood your nephew – you are so wrong. Maybe you are just trying to comfort the GM but if ES leaves I think CY will be in a much worse state than before)

GM: “Are you that ignorant of you own nephew’s feelings?” (Bravo GM – you hit the nail on the head. GM has become a very understanding King or maybe he now knows how CY feels as he has been through the same emotions)

GM continues: “To Daejang, ES isn’t just any woman. It was only after CY met ES that he looked at me properly. Before that, he merely saw me as ‘this king’ who came after ‘that king’. Only to that extent would he remember my face. But because of her, he looked at me properly.”

NG looks at GM with an understanding look on her face. (She totally understands because the couple are in the same boat as our imja couple. They too can’t live without each other. Shame on you LC!!!)

Scene cut

GC is sitting in his hiding place mulling over something as evil duo HSI and EJ enters. HSI complains that they should have gone back to Yuan. HSI reports that they did not need to worry about CY. GC asks if ES is with him. HSI says that ES sticks right beside CY and asks if they should bring ES to GC or just kill her. GC doesn’t answer but asks YS if he had sent a message to GC’s sister. YS replies yes but it would take long for the sister to reply.

GC being impatient cannot wait till his sister responds. Instead he wants to go to the palace right away. EJ gives GC a warning about the palace guards and Wudalchi. GC does not care and wants to go straight to the heart of the palace.

Everyone is worried that GC has gone mad. HSI asks how are they going to get to into the palace. GC replies any way possible.

So CY says, is that all?

ES smiles.  I guess I am not greedy as I used to be.

And she asks him , how about you, what do you like?

He does not answer her.  CY just places his hand on her shoulder.

LOL at the comments about Lady Choi! =)) I think she's just trying to be diplomatic in front of Gongmin - she of all people would know how Young reacted when Mae Hee died, and she was also the first to notice that Young had fallen for Eun Soo (back in Episode 9 or so when everyone was still running around like headless chickens).

As for Gongmin - ah, bromance! It's nice to see that Gongmin finally realizes how much Eun Soo meant to Young and why he went to such great lengths to protect her, going so far as to offend the king in order to do so. I find it adorable that Noguk smiles softly in approval as Gongmin voices his concerns for Young's heart if anything happens to Eun Soo. It's also sad that it took Noguk's kidnapping to open Gongmin's eyes to the fact, so that this new empathy perhaps came too late to prevent Young from having to make such a difficult decision to begin with.
