CS announces that they have to execute the final plan as approved by CY.  The king wonders what that plan is.

CS tells him and the queen to remove their outer garments.  

THen he calls one of the women and one of the men with them (I wonder if she is a mugakshi and the guy a Wudalchi).  CS orders the queen and king to remove their outer garments again.  The king gets it this time. The queen asks, are they to die in our stead?

THe king says that he does not approve.  He will meet up with the leader of the enemy.  He can speak to them because he is the king.

CS tells him that CY's order is to make sure that the king gets to the palace safely, even if he has to do it by force.  So the king has no choice.

CS tells the second division of the Wudalchi to stay and buy them enough time to avoid detection.  The rest of them will go and escort the king and queen to Jaemaru.

The king and queen remove their outer garments.

NEXT SCENE - BACK TO THE IMPERIAL ARMY BARRACKS
A fresh group of imperial guards run into the room and find their officers tied up, surrounded by Wudalchi. They immediately pull out their swords. CY who was sitting on a chair beside the tied up Big Kahuna, gets up calmly folding his arms. He is flanked by Jung Hoon holding a sword, and Dol Bae behind BK with his spear.

CY calmly asks why they are so late, and then immediately calls for DB who is holding several scrolls. One of the imperial guards shouts at CY, pointing his sword at CY and demands the officers released, but CY just calmly opens one of the scrolls that DB hands to him and tells him to be quiet.

CY reads the scroll and without looking up asks, "Who is Oh Seok Jae?" When there is no answer he looks up and repeats his question. The guard beside the one who just spoke up steps forward apprehensively, still holding out his sword. CY tells him that the King has signed a decree promoting Nanjang Oh Seok Jae to Chungnanjang. Does he accept?

Oh Seok Jae looks startled, then looks around at his fellow guards. CY declares that the tied up officers behind him are convicted traitors against the King and whomever wishes to continue to act in treason may join them. Those who wish to swear allegiance to the King can accept the King's decree.

"Which do you choose, Oh Seok Jae?" asks CY. OSJ still just stands there startled which begins to get on CY's nerves. "Can you not answer quickly?"

OSJ throws down his sword to his colleagues' consternation, and swears his loyalty to the King. CY tosses his appointment decree at him, and takes another scroll. "Yi Dong Bae."
And it's the guy who shouted at CY at the start, and he looks at his friends in shock when he registers his own name being called. CY asks DB quietly how many left, and DB answers, three.
