ES runs to CY and tells him that the king will be attacked.  CY says, he knows.  That is why there is no other way.  He reaches for ES and lands the only kiss in Faithland.  And all the Faithlings swoon and thuds are heard all over the world as they have waited for 17 episodes for this kiss!

I think it is all because we want to include the dialogues too.
I almost died at the scene where CY is questioning ES's motif of marrying DH.
I remembered when I watched without subtitles; I was bored to death coz I didn't know what they say.

Season 1 is short because we can only recap what we see but not hear/understood word by word.
So how? Should we give up on CH? )

I'm thinking may be we just do screencap (with subtitles) all the way and then add some comments here and there!!! =))
Lazy way of recapping for CH. I think the most important thing is I just want to discuss on the story, spazz about the baddies and swoon over YS.

Edit: @awesomeduck - You and I are swooning over two different types of CY. I seem to be swooning over serious and angry daejang whereas you swoon over his Colgate Smile )

Someone asked why didn't CY have a bigger reaction to this news.
I think the man is just in shock. The script tells Minho to first have no facial expression, because he just thinks it is all a joke.

And when it finally hits him. He is still in a stage of disbelief. Poor man. And, finally, he has digested that it is true; he still does not believe she will marry Ducky Hind richard simmons.

Ducky, why are you related to Duck Hind richard simmons now??? )


Next off, Eun Soo. Someone mentioned (sorry too many posts, and I am dizzy I can't remember who) that why KHS has so much make up on. If you watch this episode in HD (Ahem, I know my HD talk is out again)... you will notice that KHS has very bad panda eyes in this few scenes under bright day light. So I believe it is thick to cover her tired, panda eyes.

Oh wow, just finished backtracking the recap pages.  I am loving all the swoon worthy screen caps today.  Thanks to @myphim and @anomalous.

@guadi, you still there?  I love your deep analysis of the symbolisms in Faith.
Now for that kiss:  I think they used different camera angles for the scene but the editing was bad so it looked like ES closed her eyes and then opened them again.  In episode 18, you will see her with her eyes opened as CY swoops in to kiss her (@myphim, I am borrowing your terminology) as she is surprised and then she closes them.  The editors did a better job this time.
I think KHS kissed LMH back but it is so subtle     Too bad, KHS, you should have given it a little more lip movement - that was your only chance to kiss back Uncle Min Ho.)

I've loved the recap but I also wanted to give praise to the fantastic  commercials we got in between as well.  I never thought I would love commercials as much (the marketing dept- @Anomalous & at @LuvMinHo  did an awesome job as tehy were all  Faith related)
