9/7/05 – Go Soo and Kim Hyun Joo will lead the weekend drama “Marry a Millionaire (백만장자와 결혼하기)” scheduled to be aired by SBS in November following the final episode of “Lover in Prague”. The drama gets the idea from the reality show “Joe Millionaire” aired in the States. Go Soo plays the role Kim Young Hoon (김영훈) who pretends to be a millionaire appearing on a TV show and woos women by his good-looking appearance. The lady who is picked by him would get large amount of reward. KHJ plays the role Han Eun Young (한은영) who is not pretty and works as a clerk in a bank. One day, she accidentally participates in the TV show and is picked by Young Hoon who happens to be her first love. Although Young Hoon’s secret and true identity is disclosed afterwards, he and Eun Young still fall in love. The filming location of the first few episodes will be at Bordeaux, France (프랑스 보르도). Go Soo’s recent drama was “Green Rose”, and KHJ’s last drama was “The Land”.

So Ji Sub and Kim Hyun Joo's heartbreaking love

Former star couple Kim Hyun Joo and So Ji Sub had one year of heartbreaking love that faced many obstacles. Kim Hyun Joo and So Ji Sub were a couple that would have definitely gotten married, but there have been obstacles that have tested their relationship.

Both sides of their families have objected to their relationship because of status. A close relation of Kim and Soh's party witnessed that both sides have had lots of troubles, but Kim Hyun Joo has still said that So Ji Sub is her last guy of which So Ji Sub shed tears after hearing. They have kept in contact despite the objections, and have looked after each other.

Kim Hyun Joo is living alone with her mom while her younger brother is in the army. So Ji Sub was raised by his mom after his dad left them due to religious problems. Because of the similarities in upbringing, both families have objected to the relationship.

Last year (2002), when Kim and So were filming the SBS drama "Glass Slippers", Kim's mother came to the studio. At this time, So would always hide so he wouldn't be seen by her mother, as said by a close relation of the couple. They have broken up many times to just stay as friends, but it hasn't been easy when they care so much about each other.

So ppl wondered if they turned their relationship 'underground' (meaning keep their mouth shut in order to hide the truth and still maintain status quo) ... then they came out with the news that they are just GOOD friends.

SJS is known to be fond of KHJ. And the two are still, as they claimed, good friends.
