Actress Lee Min-jung is considering taking on a medical drama as her next project.

Lee is looking into MBC’s medical drama tentatively titled “Medical Top Team” (translated title), her agency ESteam Entertainment’s official told TenAsia on Thursday.

According to the official, it hasn’t been long since she got the script so she is currently reviewing it. The role she has been offered to play is the main female character who is a doctor.

So far, actor Kwone Sang-woo has confirmed his appearance in the show as male lead Park Tae-shin who is a surgeon, an official with MBC said separately.

The drama will show on Wednesdays and Thursdays and premiere in October after “Two Weeks” (translated title) ends its run.

Lee is currently preparing for her wedding with top actor Lee Byung-hun on August 10.

Lee Byung Heon and Lee Min Jung's wedding invitation card was unveiled.

On July 17th, an acquaintance of actor Lee Byung Heon revealed the invitation card for Lee Byung Heon and Lee Min Jung's wedding ceremony that he received.
The invitation card is titled 'MJ&BH WEDDING INVITATION', and it is neatly tied with a ribbon.
The card includes detailed information about their wedding, and a short message from the two. They wrote, "Thank you for sharing the first day of our new lives. We will pay your blessings back by living for each other during the rest of our lives."
On the other hand, Lee Byung Heon and Lee Min Jung's wedding ceremony will be held on August 10th at Grand Hyatt Hotel located in Hannam-dong, Seoul.

Fans were able to get a peek at Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung's wedding invitations!
The couple sent out their invitations titled, 'MJ & BH WEDDING INVITATION', and it reads, "Thank you for being with us for the first day of our new life together. We will repay your congratulatory messages by working hard and living happily together."
Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung will tie the knot at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul on August 10 at 6 PM KST. Actor Shin Young Gyun will officiate the ceremony while actor Lee Bum Soo and MC Shin Dong Yup will host the reception. 
Although their upcoming marriage still seems surreal to many fans, the couple will indeed enter holy matrimony so check out the wedding invitations below!

Lee Min-jung offered lead in Medical Top Team

More fall drama news: MBC has already scored Kwon Sang-woo as the lead for its upcoming drama Medical Top Team, and now the producers have extended the offer for leading lady to Lee Min-jung. She has confirmed receiving the offer, and is currently “positively considering” the drama.

I see that Medical Top Team is continuing our current trend of baldly literal drama titles (see also: Good Doctor, I Hear Your Voice), since the whole premise is right there in the name. It’s a straightforward setup wherein a team of doctors at the top of their respective fields are gathered on one team to treat patients.
Lee Min-jung’s last two dramas were flops (All About My Romance, Big), but it’s been a while since she was on an MBC show. The timing does seem rather tight, though, since she is currently busy preparing for her August wedding to Lee Byung-heon. With Medical Top Team set for an October premiere, she wouldn’t get much of a honeymoon before jumping back into the thick of shoots. But I guess this is a couple that’ll just have to get used to coordinating jam-packed schedules; Lee Byung-heon is also set to begin filming his upcoming martial-arts sageuk revenge movie soon after the wedding.
This drama comes from the PD of MBC’s hit The Moon That Embraces the Sun and the writer of Brain, which is why it’s got some buzz going in. The hope is that this drama will take the best of both worlds, melding the smart medical stuff of Brain with Moon/Sun’s addictive, popular appeal. Which would be way better than the reverse, where you combine their respective flaws and come up with juvenile doctors obsessed with getting laid. We can turn to Grey’s Anatomy for that, thanks.
Medical Top Team will follow Lee Jun-ki’s upcoming Two Weeks and will premiere in October.

Lee Min Jung was wrapping up the political comedy "All About My Romance" when she and actor Lee Byung Hun decided to get married and started plannign their wedding.
Korea's Power Couple will marry on August 10 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul. More than a thousand guests will attend the wedding. Plenty of celebrities have been invited since between them Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung probably know everyone who is anyone in the kdrama and kmovie world.
But the honeymoon will be short as both Lee Min Jung and her new husband have plans to return to work.
Lee Byung Hun only recently returned from filming and promoting the Hollywood blockbuster "Red 2" with co-stars Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren. Shortly after the wedding, he will begin work on the Korean historical martial arts film "Memories of the Sword" with co-stars Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun.
Lee Min Jung has been offered a role of Seo Joo Yeong, a doctor in the upcoming MBC medical drama "Medical Top Team." The drama is about a team of doctors who are the best at their respective specialties. While they attempt to find the most effective treatments for their patients, love conflicts and hospital power struggles complicate their plans.
Lee Min Jung's leading man in "Medical Top Team" will be actor Kwon Sang Woo, who played a man out for revenge in the recent drama "Queen of Ambition." He is an award-winning actor who was recognized for his work in the series "Daemul." In the new medical drama he will play a warm but somewhat blunt cancer specialist.
One of the reasons that Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung broke up early in their dating relationship had to do with his crowded schedule. He was a big star and she was a rookie actress. Despite the fact that her last two dramas, "All About My Romance" and "Big" were not huge hits, she has become a star in her own right and now has a busy acting schedule of her own to contend with. Despite their early concerns about managing two careers and a love life, the couple now feels confident enough to take on the challenge.
Kim Do Hoon, who directed the popular drama "The Moon Embraces The Sun," is directing the medical drama. Koon Kyeong Ah, who wrote the drama "Brain," is the writer.
The show will premiere in October, following the drama "Two Weeks" with Lee Jun Ki.
