i didn't watch POTW.. but CONGRATS to MGY for winning the DAESANG!

this is the real AWARDS!!!

KBS & SBS did a good job on their AWARD SHOWS!! :D

congrats to ILJIMAE & TAZZA cast too. :P

i'm so happy for MGY!

i already predicted this when she won in 2008 Grime Award. she deserves this, her performance in POTW is just mind blowing! also, the chemistry between Moon Geun Young and Moon Chae Won is just breathtakingly beautiful... :wub: :wub: :wub:

Congrats to MGY she totally deserve the Daesang with her stunning performance in POTW :wub:. I'm really really happy for her.

And congrats for the Best Couple Award she wins with the other Moon too, 2 actress who won this award is really open-minded :o.

A little sad for Park Shin-yang...

SHOCKED!!!!!!!!! but MGY 100% deserve this.....she was awesome........great performance.......Youngest person to win and i think this is also the first time that 2 women won best couple award too.....gotta say POTW is a rather unsual drama but never the less a great one.....

Congratulations to all the winners ^^

Especially to Moon Geun Young! For being the youngest actress ever to receive the Daesang award AND for winning Best Couple Award with another girl! That's making history! lols

I am glad that the SBS Drama Awards did not award basely on popularity and ratings.

They actually took every drama into consideration and one drama didn't take every single award.

.. unlike the MBC Drama Awards. *COUGH.

Following MBC’s Acting Awards on the 30th, the 31st saw awards ceremonies for the other two stations. First up: 2008 SBS Drama Awards. (KBS coming up next!)

The big news is that the SBS Daesang was awarded to the very young but very talented Moon Geun-young for her gender-bending role in the gorgeously shot historical drama Painter in the Wind. It had been widely speculated that her co-star, shunned star Park Shin-yang, might not appear after being shut out of the nominations and criticized for his exorbitant asking fees, and he in fact did not show. (I think Park’s management did not handle the War of Money pay situation well, but making a point to blackball him from SBS seems like scapegoating to me.)

I'm so happy for Moon Geun Young! She really deserves it! She was great in Painter of the Wind.

Edit: Oh my, I just saw the clip of MGY winning the daesang and she was crying sooo much tears.gif

I am so, so happy for Moon GeunYoung; in spite of her young age, she gave an impressive performance in Painter of the Wind. It was also nice to see how humble she was when accepting her award, she was crying so hard, hehe
