*** The September 7th broadcast of Mnet’s TMI NEWS SHOW revealed a list of 10 stars who amazed everyone on and offline! The fifth place went to Rain as he gained massive popularity through the song “Gang,” which climbed back up on music charts long after its release. *** Netflix has set October 14 for the release of the until now unseen reality show "Take 1", and released the main poster and main trailer.

 

"Take One" is a Korean music program that revolves around the step-by-step process of artists creating "the most meaningful performance of their careers. The artists are allowed to choose who they want to invite to their performances, what they wish to sing and where they want to do it.  It is the first music reality show that Netflix will produce. Famous local acts such as Yim Jae-beom, You Hee-yul, Park Jung-hyun, Rain, AKMU, Mamamoo and soprano Sumi Jo are set to appear on the show. 

In the released poster, the appearance of the top Korean artists representing various musical genres such as vocal, rock, ballad, and dance, and the advertisement slogan "The most meaningful stage in life is only once" previewed the variety-like live music show and attracted the attention of the audience. 

Director Kim Hak-min, who has experience directing music reality program "Two Yoo Project Sugar Man 3" in 2019, will take the helm of "Take 1." 

 

Writer Yoo Jin-young who works on ongoing music variety show "Amazing Saturday" will also work on the show.  

Take 1, where the best artists create their most meaningful stage, will be released to the world on October 14th via Netflix.

This coming October 14, Netflix will premiere the series #Take1. The music series will bring to the stage renowned Korean artists to give the best performance of their lives.
