Rain Rakes Multi-Million Capital Gains After Selling his Real Estate in Seoul

 

Rain is making it big outside the entertainment industry.

 

In a report cited by Star Today, the singer-actor recently sold his multi-million building located at Cheongdam, Seoul.

 

Called "Rain Avenue," the building is situated near the affluent neighborhood in Gangnam District.

 

According to the South Korean outlet, the property, which has a land area of 1024.80 square meters and a total floor area of 3218.94 square meters, was reportedly sold at a whopping USD 43 million or almost 50 billion KRW.

 

Aside from being in a top location, the commercial building boasts six floors and three basement floors.

 

Interestingly, the said property, which he purchased in 2008, has reached multiple capital gains estimated at 28 million USD, minus the renovation and real estate tax.

 

To recall, Rain acquired the building for 14 million USD or KRW 16.8 billion at the time.

 

Surprisingly, in 2020, the commercial property grew its worth and is estimated at 42 million USD or 50 billion KRW.

 

The triple threat A-lister used Rain Avenue as the head office for the entertainment agency, Rain Company.

 

In addition, the building also has a cafe, art gallery, and even pubs.

 

Rain's real estate in Cheongdam is one of many of his properties.

 

Aside from the six-story building, he also owns a luxurious and expensive villa that is said to be worth 5.3 million USD.

The main character is actually two characters. Somehow two doctors with different backgrounds, different personalities, and different capabilities begin to share one body. Rain has been offered the role of Cha Young-min, and Kim Bum has been offered the role of Go Seung-tak. Whether Rain and Kim Bum will be combining bodies, IDK yet. The plot itself is very interesting and fun to watch. I'd be so happy to see UEE back on screen.

Uee Considering Lead Role in “Ghost Doctor”

 

 

Uee (My Only One) is now considering a lead role in the upcoming Korean drama Ghost Doctor. If she accepts, she would join the already confirmed Rain (Welcome 2 Life) who will star as a skilled but selfish doctor who gets caught up in an incident.

 

Ghost Doctor is a supernatural medical drama about two completely different doctors whose spirits and bodies end up combined. The drama comes from the writer of Live Up to Your Name

Rain purchases building in Seoul for $80.2 million

 

 

Rain has purchased a building in Seochodong, Seoul for $80.2 million USD. 

According to reports on July 8, the singer and actor recently signed a contract to buy a building near Gangnam Station in Seochodong, Gangnam, Seoul for 92 billion Won ($80,213,502.80 USD). It's said the building is located in a "super station" area, a 2-minute walk from Gangnam, with a land area of 486 square meters and an architectural area of 2,904 square meters.

Hospitals, oriental medicine clinics, shoe stores, jewelry shops, and cafes are reported to bring in more than 200 million Won ($174,228.70 USD) in monthly rent income alone. 

Rain reportedly sold his building in Cheongdamdong, Seoul for 49.5 billion Won ($43,123,914.90 USD) this past June, making about 30 billion Won ($26,135,706 USD) in capital gains. Actress Kim Tae Hee, his wife, is also said to have sold a building in Yeoksamdong, Seoul for 20.3 billion Won ($17,685,161.06 USD) in March, earning 7.1 billion Won ($6,185,450.42 USD).
