Which Asian Nationality Have Natural Double Eyelids Without Surgery

It's just the genes, some have it, some don't.

people are different some can have single some can have double.

there are also non asians that have single.

there's no asian nationality thats "DOUBLE Eyelids ONLY" or "SINGLE Eyelids only"

Pretty much any Asian ethnicity can have natural double eyelids, but if you mean in a country where the majority has naturally double lidded eyes it would be in the Southeast Asia and Southern Asia region.

Most Vietnamese I know have natural double eyelids.

Including myself.

all asians have double eyelids, but small double eyelids and single eyelids are more prevalent in China/Korea/Japan..

i think its because they all are somewhat descended from the same Mongolian ancestors waaaaay back in time (like, few thousand years ago) when single eyelids helped block out sand from the wind and helped sun glare in the deserts/plains.

yeah it depends on your genes.. you cant really say a certain race has more single eyelids/double eyelids

I think every Asian ethnicity can have the chance

of obtaining double eyelids. : o That's just what I think though.

It might also run in genetics ?

A lot of my family has double eyelids; and I'm Laotian & Chinese.

But then some of my family doesn't as well.

I guess it just depends.

no asian ethnicity has just double eyelids or single eyelids, its a mix of both.

for me, i have double eyelids and im chinese. my sister only has it in one eye but the rest of my family have it.

i've seen a couple of filipinos with single eyelids. o____o

Definitely SOUTH EAST ASIAN. Their eyes are SUPER HUGE and their eyelashes are SO LONG. I envy. T____T I'm saying this cause I have yet to see a south east asian with single eyelids. eh? But most of the chinese I know have double eyelid and huge eyes. That includes me. Actually...it really depends. Not so much on the nationality. But I can tell u that majority of south east asians have double eyelids.

most chinese people have double eyelids, its pretty rare for a chinese guy to have single eyelids.

on behalf of filipinos, most of them have double eyelids, but they have a much "thicker" looking one. the crease is bigger.

well.............naturally i think (like what aloooooooooootta people are saying here..) that its genes!

but like..........some people........might naturally develope them too! right?

cuz my mom didnt have them before and then she told me that she cried really hard one day and they just...appeared..!

and my aunt only had a double eyelid on one eye

so she kept playing with the other eye and making them out of pencils?

and so now its permanent!

my friend didnt have them either.

but she kept using the ssangapul tape 24/7

and now she doesnt need them at all.

and even for me..!

when i was little i didnt have them..

but as i grew up (and lost weight xP) they just..appeared..! hahaha

Filipino, Viet, Lao, Thai.

=) Indians...but to me they don't look asian. -oo-

it's because they are classified AS caucasians

most filipinos definitely have double eyelids.

single eyelid(ed) flips are not very common

(except for those who have chinese/viet/korean/japanese blood in them)

and are considered cute and hot back home.

atleast in my school they were the heartthrobs. LOL.

Most Southern Asianers have double eyelids; the percentage is higher.

But they do do plastic surgery for deeper double eyelids.

Chinese, Korean, and Japanese are more known to have single eyelids.
