Thanks huangsy for the episode summary. I can't watch it until the VERY AMAZING arashi puts it up tonight, but I was already crying just reading about how F3 and Ga Eul watched Jan Di swim her last lap and how she took her idol's poster down It angers me a little bit how Jun Pyo ingnores Jan Di, but I know there's a reason for it, but I also want him to get a little jealous over Ji Hoo paying Jan Di all that attention. I'm dreading the fiancee episodes ahead, because it will be heart-breaking to Jan Di, but I also can't wait to see how the PD and Director play these scenes out.

P.S. I REALLY hope this drama ends the Japanese way and that the pictures I saw weren't just to tease us and that the PD allows Ga Eul and Kim Bum to end up together at the end

I just watched scenes for episode 14 and I just can't wait! Even though I'm not korean, I could understand most of what was going on so basically:

Jan Di decides that she's tired of being ignored and ready to go home, but F3 intervene and arrange for her and JP to meet, but he's cold towards her so she's sad. JH does his best and cheers her up. JP sees pictures of F3 and JD touring Macau and shows just the teensiest of emotion over seeing JH and JD together on the gondola. JH's Chinese friend attempts to tell him in korean that he can tell that JH likes JD. JH gives JD a piggyback ride back to Chinese friend's house while JP watches from in his car. Can't wait...so exciting!

It wasn't JunPyo's fault. She decided on her own to jump infront of JunPyo so he wouldn't get hurt.

Yeah i agree. But im just mad at jun pyo for ignoring her i just had to blame him.

Still, its sad that her dream of being a swimmer is not gonna happen. Especially when she got the goggles jun pyo gave her from the auction.

i just finished watching today's episode/13.well it was way better than the previous two.back to the BOF we know!!!yeah!!the F3 fightng scene was awesome..there should be more lols!!

anyways I was kind of dissapointed that gjp ignored gjd and he didnt even talk to her but i guess that was for the time..i mean she even travelled to see him..anyways from what i see in the preview gjp still has feelings and cares for her so yeiiiiiiiii!!!

We all know JP never stops loving JD, but seeing how he treated her today, I still cant help but getting a bit mad at him. I hope the producers will keep the scene where JD walk in on JP and the fiancee I really want to see JD being jealous more, as a way of showing how much she loves JP.

Luckily, i was able to catch the previews uploaded this weekend and a Jihoo-Jandi-Junpyo triangle is sounding more attractive to me at this point, rather than an episode without Junpyo at all...

its funny that no matter how many versions of this drama

has been made, the part where tsukasa completely ignores Makino

just hits me in the right places where it would hurt the most and I end up rooting for

Rui to take Makino back and make Tsukasa miserable so that he will realize that this is not the

right way to go dude

Did Makino and fiancee become friends first or after the engagement announcement?

The timing of their friendship is going to be important because if they bonded before the engagement, its going to cause a different sort of problem than being friends afterwards. I like the twist that the Korean PD have put in this section. The story will likely play out the same but you see more of the angst and dilemma that JD has to go through. Its not only JP but a good friend who saved her, too.

Ooooohh. I want to know how they play that angle out.

yeah, even when she goes out with F3, she isnt happy at all. she remembers JP's look when she met him at the bar.

in this episode, i'm very glad when seeing that JD really misses JP. so moved! especially, when being attacked by the men in Macau, she calls "Junpyo". clearly, the person she thinks of when at risk is Jp, not JH. she's now aware of the person who can protect her moreover, i'm happy when F3 not only JH go to rescue her. if only JH, i really dont know how to say. becauz he has done many things for her, but she still loves JP, poor guy so, it means that, when JD is at risk, if not JP who saves her, it cant be another guy, right? it's so meaningful

i recall in earlier episodes when she actually thought of jihoo to be the white knight whenever she's in trouble i.e being bullied by fellow shinhwa students... and now JP is the one she thinks about. How things change over time.

i think we can all say that the episode was short because it didnt have enough goo jun pyo to go around

Granted, i did miss a few minutes at the beginning, but i always did in previous episodes too. but the episode did seem to pass sooo fast. Even the so-called fast paced episode 11 and 12 didn't seem to finish that way. haha. i guess without junpyo, and junpyo-jandi dynamic, you really notice that one hour can pass you by quickly, whereas before mooning over the couple just makes time moves slower. at least to me. haha.

Well, technically, she was in the predicament because someone wanted to have revenge on junpyo. Her being the shield is spur of the moment thing, a reflexive action for someone she cares about. so if he has some conscience, he should feel guilty.

Anyway , i love the fighting scene of F3...seriously , they look so cool doing the fighting scenes!

I wonder , if there are any such scenes in future , will Kim Bum have to sit it out with his leg in a cast. It'll be a pity since his scenes were so hot!

And did you all realise , JiHoo was especially ruthless when fighting..Protective of JanDi? And very angry too..

Funny... coz i simply attribute that to poor acting. I would appreciate his fighting scenes better if he looks just as cool and collected as the F2. i personally thought he still sucks at playing mad/angry/dramatic scenes. compare it with junpyo and his vicious fight. These two actors give me different feelings for a supposedly similar portrayal, that's all.

Nope, they met the moment his mom introduced the fiancee (at an omiai). shigeru became friends with tsukushi right after she visited the school. she asked tsukushi if she could help her win tsukasa's heart. and shigeru was like she wants to be friends with tsukushi. tsukushi's very reluctant about it but shigeru's being persistent

I just finished watching eps 13. AH! I got teary, along with Ga Eul, seeing Jan Di swim her last swim

It was sad seeing Joon Pyo turn his back away from her T__T But from the previews, you can see he still cares.

Anyhow, I love the F3 interactions with Jan Di during this difficult time! They looked really cool fighting to save her.

I thought it was really cute when Won Bin was like "LET'S GO!" xD

Can you agree with me that them meeting and getting to know each other beforehand is going to cause more heartache? Its a choice of friend vs. love. They have a connection outside of JP. On a smaller scale it kind of reminds me the decision that JH had to make: JP his friend or JD. Granted, JD didn't have 15 years of friendship with fiancee but was saved by her. That's almost 7 years of friendship right there.

in the manga, makino and shigeru get to know each other when the engagement was announced by domyoji's mom. she invited makino to witness it. shigeru approached makino first and tried to be friends. she brought food and even slept over. at this moment i think she thought that makino and domyoji were just friends. i dont remember exactly how, shigeru found out that makino and domyoji used to date. they went shopping together and makino thinks that shigeru is a nice girl and really suits domyoji. makino told domyoji that shigeru will be better for him hearing this, he went absolutely mad to makino. shigeru asked makino's blessing bcos she started to fall for domyoji. the next thing i remember is that shigeru and domyoji had their first date. and then the awfully awkward double date where domyoji told shigeru that he still loves makino and he wants to break the engagement. afterwards both girls become good friends.

@ flower_pot: certainly, all of us want more JP-JD's scenes, but this episode is a turning point. u're even more disappointed when watching tomorrow episode. Jp breaks up with JD. but i still hope to see him rush to the airport to stop JD. pls, PD dont make us wait one more week

I wouldn't be disappointed at all... Seeing something happening between Junpyo and Jandi no matter how hard it is to take is something that i'd love to see rather than Jandi just walking around the streets of Macau aimlessly...

As i've said in my post, it's a personal opinion... i'm not whining but rather just ranting about how there could have been a lot more scenes that could be more pivotal at this point (like a prolonged Junpyo Jandi meeting perhaps where even if Junpyo is avoiding Jandi we could have seen more of his real feelings...)

if you had actually read the manga, they followed it concisely til now. for some it's been a bit irritating seeing JH-JD's interaction. But that's how the story was written.

I was able to read the manga and watch all three versions, four if you include the anime...

I don't have any gripes about seeing Jandi and Jihoo together coz i even mentioned in my last post that this is the moment that i was even rooting for a Rui/Makino ending in whichever version but i could just sense a little of the BOF spirit lacking in this episode...

AGAIN... DON'T GET ME WRONG... if you read through my previous posts in the thread, i am one of the biggest fans of this series but it's a personal opinion and i guess that's why forums like these are created... so we can share different viewpoints about the story... I AM STILL WAITING WITH ANTICIPATION for tomorrow's episode... this is just not one of my favorite episodes so far in the series but 2 misses (for me Ep.11 and 13) is still pretty few compared to the episodes i loved to death (1-10, episode 12)

the gangster bullying JD, should have happened in NY base on the manga and here it's in Macau.

If you're one, first time who went to a place, emotionally unstable, and just seen that person who act damn coldly in front of you, who's not gonna feel helpless and frustrated? And unfortunately have to deal with this creepy guys, trying to take advantage of you. You just felt the place that you were into, is not safe anymore. For me it's right of a timing, and here they just showed some real life situation. We can't say that JD has been acting oddly stupid, cause if you'll read the real Makino in the Manga, she'll really get into your nerves! for she's a person who's indecisive towards Tsukasa, yet firm for the people she cares. It's like more than half way through the Manga before she told Tsukasa in front of all their friends that "she loves him". Yeah, really draggy to the point that Tsukasa even told her, "i don't think you're the girl i fell in love with anymore"..my two cents.

But some production do not include all parts of the manga also in their series... MG skipped some parts too... major ones at that... same with HYD... it's just that there have been too many of the Jandi saving scenes that have been happening lately and very closely at that... (that porny photo place on ep 11, warehouse and snowstorm on ep 12 and now we have the robbery scene and the gangster scene on episode 13) that somehow as an audience you can't help but exclaim "NOT AGAIN"... there should have been some interval perhaps or a different attack that could have been taken to give the scene a fresher appeal... I'm not saying that it's bad or that it was completely pointless but to me, this episode lacked the magic of other previous episodes and i know that the PD and scriptwriter are capable of giving us more since they were already able to do that in the past...

However, i'm not one to wallow in the negative but i look forward to the positive that can come out to the show that's why i am really anticipating tomorrow's episode where more interactions between the characters are present...
