I'm with you on this. I was pretty pissed that JP walked his way forcefully into JD's heart, torn down her emotional walls and may her believe that they are both in the same world looking at the same thing...then completely proved her wrong by distancing himself and putting up his wall that there is a JP world and a JD world. <_<

Im tooo agree with you...huhu...yeap, he made her fall in love with him, hes the one who made her promised to tell him when something happen...and not to run away from him...but now, hes doing all those things! aigoo junpyo...his promise backfired! :(

Thank you to all of those who appreciated my insights...

I just want to give my two cents regarding Junpyo's action on Episode 13 as to why he ignored Jandi when he saw her...

One must understand that it must have taken soooo much out of him in terms of decision making and willpower to turn his back against Jandi... We all know the extent of Junpyo's love for Jandi that he's ready to sacrifice EVERYTHING just to protect her and prove his love for her... FAMILY, PRIDE, and a BEST FRIEND... all of those things meant nothing to Junpyo in his quest to win Jandi's heart... So i really believe that there is a CATASTROPHIC incident behind his decision to forget her...

I believe that the reason why he didn't contact Jandi anymore is because maybe he feels that it's easier for Jandi to move on too if he becomes mean to her and if he shows her that she means nothing to him anymore... knowing Jandi, she's not the type to take things at face value and i'm sure she would struggle to keep Junpyo's love even if it would mean more suffering for her... I guess Junpyo is preventing that from happening...the moment that Junpyo stopped all sorts of contact with Jandi, i feel that that is a heartbreaking decision that he has already set his mind on and i don't think it's that easy to unbreak that decision just because he saw Jandi again... YES, he must have been excited... YES, it might have hurt his heart terribly to see her standing there and yet not be able to hug her nor talk to her... But as i said, at this point in Junpyo's life, he already has other concerns and responsibilities that may be as important as Jandi too... I'm sure in a way he's also protecting her and doing what he feels is best for both of them...

BUT... that time that he called to check up on Jandi must have been pretty telling... he must have tossed and turned all night if he should initiate contact again or not and in the end, we can see that his feelings have won out... But since Jandi was not there... his moment of courage might have again been overshadowed by doubts and uncertainties that's why he stayed in the background again and i think more especially now that both Jandi and him have this wrong impression now that they are okay without the other...

More than anything, i'm curious as to how long Junpyo would last in ignoring his feelings and how Jandi would react now that the tables are turned and it seems that she's the one who is now in Junpyo's position previously... I just rewatched Meteor Garden and that episode where San Cai saw Dao Ming Sz's gf naked and on top of him was truly heartbreaking... but my heart broke equally for Dao Ming Sz when he knew that San Cai and Lei shared a room and how they're all pretending that they're okay with the situation when deep inside they are DYING...

I am waiting with bated breath for this scene coz i know that the Korean version will bring justice to it but most of all, i'm just looking forward to how these trials will make Junpyo and Jandi's love stronger and their trust in each other deeper...

flower pot thanks for sharing your insight. I enjoy reading it as always. I hope that you are right and we really don't know all the details without watching the actual episode. What I don't like is the way JP handled the situation. He should have at least TEXT her if he didn't have the courage to talk to her about his 'supposedly change of heart' so that she didn't have to go all the way across country to see him. I'm pretty sure a catastrophic had occurred, most likely it had something to do with his father and being engaged...all the more for him to think about how Jandi would feel and lessen the hurt by actually giving her a heads up.

that's because Macao, like Vegas, is full of casino's so there's probably gonna be similarities. its like a gambler's paradise. The Venetian even has a branch there. i'm sure several of the larger casino chains also have branches in macao.

MGM co own casino with Mr. Ho. It look exactly like the one in LV. Wynn also have one over there. But the very first American one is Venetian. Yep and Venetian had to close one of the branch called Sand in Macao bc of the business.

sorry to cut ur post short :) ... well i think ur right.. there is surely some incident that really need for JP to choose.. his love for JD or maybe keeping her safe and away from all the hurt and stuff. . and this was shown in HYD season 2 .. where tsukasa ignored makino becoz of one person he thought died becoz of him...

same sentiments here.. he should have send an email or txt message about the situation and letting JD know what had happened and why he was cold towards her... its hard to think u know.. it can give headaches hahahha...

tnx for the insight.. good one! :)

I HOPE WE WILL KNOW THE REASON WHY JP IS IGNORING JD SOON...

I REALLY HATE WHEN THERE IS A TRIANGLE GOING ON... BUT THATS MAKES IT INTERESTING...

* SIGH* I DON'T WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT NOW... :sweatingbullets:

I agree a lot with dramalovers and flower_pot. Jandi is hurt because of what Jun Pyo had done to her, not acknowledging her presence when he's the one who went to her world. But, I do think that Jun Pyo also has a reason to why he did that. Basically, they are both hurting and struggling with this situation that they are now in.

Seeing the previews made me watch the Japanese version and read the manga. In the manga, before he went to NY and she visited him, they have been quite a lot, and they have already proved their love for each other.

During this time, I just want to share something, one of the best lines in the Japanese version of HanaDan, which also tells Jun Pyo and Jandi's situation. (or let's add Ji Hoo too, since this is already the beginning of the triangle square.

Quoted by Nishikado Soujiro, on episode 4 season 2 of Hana Yori Dango Jversion:

But there is no logic in love.

Falling in love is an irrational thing.

Even just by falling in love with someone, you'll hurt people, and you'll get hurt yourself.

To be truly in love with someone, you have to be ready to put your life at risk.

This quote sums up what Jun Pyo feels for Jandi at this time. And after this line, Soujiro said, This is what he feels when he looks at Domjouji/Jun Pyo. The line 'To be truly in love with someone, you have to be ready to put your life at risk' shows the JoonDi relationship. They each put their life at risk: Jun Pyo, as the heir of Shinwha and a huge, huge responsibility on his shoulders. Jandi, putting her life on the line, the persons close to her, her family and her friends, are already entangled into this 'mess'.

And this is what's really fascinating about this drama/manga. This is the reason why this is also the most-loved shoujo manga and why this is 'the most unoriginal original love story ever'. (quoted by a poster here) I am confident that this drama will do justice to this obstacle just like what the other versions did. To show how love conquers all, and how/why Jun Pyo and Jandi are meant to be together. Gah. Monday can't come any closer.

@ flower pot: Thank you so much for your analysis, they are great!!! Please keep on writing more and I have to agree to it...

From what I have seen from both MG and Hanadan Jun Pyo surely has his reasons to act this way...

maybe he did it in a wrong way... but girls... don´t forget that he has no experiences in love...

maybe he doesn´t know how to handle it in another way... he is not that kind of gentle like JH....

and don´t forget that he lacked love since childhood...

maybe for him it´s easier to hide his feelings and to hurt her deliberately so that she can forget him...

as you can see there are many maybes...

but isn´t it what life is about? Isn´t it what makes a good drama?

Are we not sometimes the same?... Acting diffrent than we actually want to?...Saying something else than what we mean?...

These are only my two cents...hope you don´t mind...

A part of me wouldn't mind if Jandi ends up with Jihoon. JP is being so mean! :tears:

It makes me really sad that the fiance is so cool. Why can't she be a horrible person?

Thank you :D

Yes, I love JP... I have watched the other two versions, and I have MG 1 & 2 on dvd... hehe. I always hated this part in the show, when everything gets really complicated and JP/Domyouji have to ignore JD/Makino.. but it does show how strong their love is. =D I don't think I'll get that mad at JP, because.. now it's JD's turn to show how much she loves JP. Now she can see how it feels. It will be heartbreaking though, to see him ignoring her..

He'll go back to Korea in ep. 15 right? I hope that he'll stop ignoring her when he comes back.. I don't want this part to drag on too long.

To me, JP matured so much judging by the ep 13 and 14 previews. I don't know if I like his childish side better or this side of him.

I thought the same when I watched the previews. His character seems to have so much more depth now...

As much as I love his childish side, I can't help to fall in love with him again seeing him so solemn and deep in thought.

While Ji Hoo is beeing more outgoing in Jan Di's company, Jun Pyo seems to grow more dramatic without her. :vicx:

Can't wait till monday... Who thouhgt I will ever say that. >_< This series is pure magic :D

NP ^_^

Yeah! The time is really frustrating.

I cried like a baby during those scenes!! When the fiancee comes into play, Jan Di will be really jealous! I'm really excited to see how Jan Di will react. It's finally her turn after Jun Pyo displayed and said how much he loved her. I know the bond between Ji Hoo and Jan Di will help her through this tough time. The other members of F4 will be there for her as well :)..

I'm not too sure about the future episodes. I try not to read spoilers but I sort of know what's coming :( >_>..
