Just finished today's episode, wow, it looks like everyone is in action now. The suspense is building up for next week. The fact that we don't have a preview worsens this feeling.

T.O.P's scene again feels out of place and random. I thought HJ and CSH's get together was a bit on the abrupt side but this new couple is even worse. You don't see any emotions from TOP whatsoever.

It's normal, his character Vick is doing all this as a mission. He's getting through NSS by getting her. So it's normal if you don't see any Emotions.

Gah, didnt know they were still filming ep15. No preview for next week's episode ):

I would think they already have some scenes but the major, most important one -- the showdown will only be filmed this Sunday the 29th. Thanks to joynara for the previous info shared.

Can't imagine the level of anxiety of the cast & crew are feeling now to get the really extensive and truly huge filming done smoothly in the time allocated to them.

Re: shooting location spoiler:

IRIS finally got permission to film @ the GwangHwaMun plaza next weekend (on Nov 29, Sun) a showdown which will involve the core five (HJ, SunHwa, SeungHee, SaWoo, ChulYoung) and maybe plus Vick which will take place in ep. 15. They were hoping to film it this weekend (and maybe include it in ep. 14), but eventually agreed on Nov 29/Sun with the City of Seoul, and with the help of the metropolitan police, will shut down the GwangHwaMun area from 3am to 7pm for filming.

Think shutting down Trafalgar Sq in London, or Times Sq in NYC, or Champs-Elysees in Paris, if you're not familiar with GwangHwaMun.

A lot of money doesn't necessarily mean that a drama has to go on and on. The $20million budget is an ambitious but reasonable preset for the 20 episodes of IRIS, right from the beginning. It's been spent where and when it should. The plot will be finalized at 20 episode which is appropriate enough for the series.

I haven't seen episode 14, but something that's been bugging since ep 13. Is CSH 'related' to the General, perhaps.. or something as the terrorist leader now no longer receives order from PCY. Or Baek San asking the favor from his IRIS cohort?

From what we know, IRIS is a large organization that embeds itself within many political organizations. It plans terrorist actions within countries to instigate problems for its own personal benefit.

I am frankly surprised that they can drag it on another 6 episodes now that even the president knows of the conspiracy. An already highly implausible plot will become outright fantastic.

i just finished watching ep 14 and it definitely leaves me hanging bc i thought PCY (the north korean guy at the end) was caught by the General but it turns out he was caught by HJ?! i guess we'll find out but i was like wth? also, is TOP basically the second person under the chief of IRIS? he's superior to Baek-san, am i correct? why was he stalking Baek-san at the supermarket? o_O

1. Did you miss HJ talking to the President and his Chief of Staff in a secluded area? There he volunteered to try to stop the detonation. So I assume that HJ now works for the President, and the men with him were probably the Korean secret service or its equivalent.

2. I doubt TOP is the second-in-command of IRIS at his age. He's probably the most capable hit man/spy for the organization. I would guess he's keeping tabs on BS to ensure he doesn't go off and do something on his own.

rubie, I don't think she is. I think BS is just using her as a card against HJ. If he can get her, then he can get HJ. Nothing in ep.14 says that she is involved with IRIS and I hope it stays that way. I don't think we can afford a big twist like that this late in the drama. The thought of not having a preview to know what to expect for next week is daunting for me.
