I like BC plot more (certain part in 1829 is quite drag)

But charactor wise, I prefer 1829 as he is more fun. (like the part he sing with the group of old folk at the wife hometown... the part with the flying kiss) so cute

I found this link regarding Ryu Soo Young before he debuted as an actor. He was on a reality show (truth talk), and I guess the contestants had to guess whether he or another person had lost a whole bunch of weight. I guess he used to be 118kg (about 260lbs). Apparently he was really popular on the show even though he wasn't there as a talent; people described him as a chubby Jung Woo Sung (as you can see in that picture).

Regarding military service...He's 28... will turn 29 Korean age in September, and 30 is the absolute deadline, from what I hear, and so I'm assuming unless he goes into another project right away, he'll probably go into service sometime this year. If he does end up going, we can only hope that since he left on a high, when he comes back he'll be more wanted than ever!

Strange though, Suk Ji Suk (who was originally supposed to play Jun Soo's role) is born in 1981, two year later, and was forced to go into the military. Meanwhile RSY and a couple other 79ers still haven't gone yet... don't get it...

Could you see if anyone has 18 vs. 29 NGs uploaded on their clubboxes? I would think since it was a popular drama, they would have had NGs, but there aren't any uploaded on youtube or veoh. If you can't, that's okay too~

RSY so cute!! there's the one where they're under the blanket, and he's telling her to stay still, and it's an NG because she says, "How can I push you if you're holding my hand?" and he laughs and says, "you can't push me.. you have a stay still"... so cute =D

Regarding the article you found, the basic gist of it is that RSY says thanks to the role of Gi Chan, he's re-evaluated himself and feels like he's become a kinder, better person. Because of the popularity of the drama, and because he didn't want the public to compare him in real life vs. Gi Chan, he thought that he should make changes in himself, and he realized how different he was from the character, especially the way Gi Chan was from episode 11 and on, in the way he was taking care of Dang Ja.

The last paragraph states that RSY cried rewatching the scenes that Gi Chan was crying, much like a child crying when his mother cries. ... I think the point was that he truly was moved by the role.. and it changed something in him.

Ryu SooYoung is just too cute. It's so weird, though. Every time I see him, I think of Jang Hyuk. LOL. I'm weird. But both of them are hot so I enjoy looking at Ryu SooYoung. The villain role in SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME was so not him. It just didn't fit because he has a cute and innocent face.
