happy new year everyone! wow I was really in awe watching DoTs official trailer , thanks hclover96 and RoseS for sharing , it makes me yearn for the early showing of DoTs  but it looks like its gonna be a sad ending especially the last line 'he will never come back" , anyways we'll just wait for the full showing of DoTs and besides the writer's work is usually with happy ending. hope DoTs really brings out the best in SHK's acting so we can expect her to reap more acting awards this year and we can see her in 2016 KBS drama awards !

I surely knew that our kyo will be beautiful in doctor's white coat ... But when i actually saw her i was surprised by her beauty and cuteness as a doctor ..it really suits her ....I can see  some meredith of Greg's anatomy in her ..but our kyo has her special charm of course ....dots fighting ..and really hope it will do well in terms of ratings in sake of the cast not to feel their hard work had gone in vain..

i truly agree with you marwa__ , the official trailer tells it all really hope DoTs will receive much love when it airs coz aside the from the hard work that DoTs team did, the drama have awesome display of visuals and chemistry of the lead stars , nice location shoot /cinematography, fine acting and with intriguing exchange of dialogues ! just hope the drama OST will be as good as in TWTWB!

“Descendants of the Sun” Announces Its Official Air Date

KBS‘s “Descendants of the Sun” has confirmed its air date and announced it will be airing in Korea and China at the same time!

On January 5, an affiliate of the drama department stated, “‘Descendants of the Sun’ will air its first episode on February 24. It will air on the same day in China as well. It will air in Korea first due to the time difference.”

The affiliate continued, “This is a melodrama involving young love. The staff and the actors worked hard on this project so I hope their sincerity comes through to the audience.”

“Descendants of the Sun” is about a young soldier and a doctor falling in love in a foreign land. Song Joong Ki will play an elite soldier while Song Hye Kyo will play a charming doctor.

This drama is a 100 percent pre-recorded drama and the staff finished filming in six months from June to December of last year

Hi sunflower, the first pic you posted is about the comments of k-netz regarding the trailer for DotS.  These are all very positive comments.  They said Song-Song couple's visuals are amazing; this drama looks like a movie; while most dramas take around 4 months to film and are live-shot, DotS took 6 months to complete and is pre-produced so the quality is higher; must watch this drama and is eagerly looking forward to it!

The second pic is about comments from some of the supporting cast and staff members who left comments about Kyo on their Instagram.  Kyo mentioned in her June 2015 Elle interview that the staff must always enjoy working on the set and she wants them to think of her as someone nice.  These comments left by the staff and supporting cast are all praising her as someone beautiful and kind-hearted:

thanks  so much for the translation to the ever reliable hclover96 , cant agree for more with what you said about SHK our ever super beautiful and warm hearted angel!  wow its great to hear nice comments about her and those praises /good words coming from her co-stars and staff she worked with no less ,  its really something that truly reflect how beautiful she is inside and out !  even during her TWTWB days , not only her co-stars have high regard of her but as well as the whole production team, well with this the more I admire SHK and wont pay much attention from her basher comments whose thinking are already confined with negative things about SHK, they just cant accept how beautiful she is and a good actress!

SHK is always super beautiful in her Laneige ads most likely they will release new ad or cf or even new product in line with Dots showing, remember her iconic lipstick in TWTWB?

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's upcoming fully pre-produced drama 'Descendants of the Sun' is quite the hot topic. And we mean literally!

 

Good Data (gooddata.co.kr) released their results of which upcoming dramas are the biggest topics. And first place with 31.2% of the votes was none other than KBS' 'Descendants of the Sun'.

 

The drama also recently (finally) secured its airing date to be February 24 for a total of 16 episodes. This is the first KBS drama to be 100% pre-produced, and by the look of the teasers, the drama has the cinematic quality of a film.

 

In second place was 'Murim School' and third place went to tvN's 'Signal', and after that was JTBC's 'Madame Antoine'.

The data was compiled during the time period of December 28 to January 4, from blogs, online communities, SNS, news comments and video views, for dramas to air in 2016.

Hi sunbae0401! Really wish SHK will endorse Esprit Spring 2016 collection  coz based on the caption that I was able to translate thru Google trans it looks like its a new endorsement of SHK but looking closely on the side comments of the picture it looks like that its a fan art only wherein SHK is the model wearing that chic dress from Esprit S2016 collection . Oh really wish too that she is indeed the endorser of Esprit! Sorry for my initial post that I thought its a new ad of SHK but I  have edited it already and we will just wait and see if there's a confirmation about it!  The moment DoTs will air most likely there will be new ads/CFs of SHKs endorsements which I'm looking forward !
