Alibaba opening: Programmer Encouragement Specialist:

"Or you’re like Song Hye-kyo. From a wealthy family and with a Korean demeanor, possessing female beauty that exceeds nature itself; even without makeup countless programmers chase after you."

photo from baidu:  its undeniable that SHK does have an exceptional beauty even without makeup but hope her name wont be use or drag on descriminating/offensive marketing/job ad!

Hong Kong director John Woo's big budget historical drama, The Crossing, Part I grossed NT$23.8 million (US$763,000) at box offices around Taiwan over the weekend after opening on Dec. 5.

The revenues, which included NT$7.45 million (US$238,800) in Taipei alone, were the most taken by any film in the market over the Dec. 5-7 weekend.

Dubbed the "Chinese version of Titanic," the two-part movie revolves around the sinking of a steamer called the Taiping on Jan. 27, 1949 near the Zhoushan archipelago southeast of Shanghai bound for Taiwan. The boat, crammed to more than double capacity with refugees fleeing mainland China with the retreating Kuomintang, was sailing at night with its lights out due to a curfew when it collided with a cargo ship.

More than 1,500 people lost their lives when the boat went down, many of them well-heeled elites fleeing the advance of Communist troops. The film, shot in China and Taiwan, tells the story of three couples in China who boarded the ill-fated ship.

The film, which had a budget of US$48.6 million, stars Taiwanese-Japanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro and Japanese actress Masami Nagasawa. China's Zhang Ziyi, Huang Xiaoming and Tong Dawei, South Korea's Song Hye-kyo, and Hong Kong's Bowie Lam also are part of the star-studded cast.

Part II is scheduled for release in May
