well...that might be true..but i think he won the daesang award cos he REALLY deserves it..not because that he had a lot of injuries but he had brought the damduk character so beautifully that it had captivated the audience, thus causing the ratings to soar up... to me....his character is very hard to portray since u need a lot of charisma plus the acting needs to be really macthed to the period era....the gestures, the intonation of the voice...everything. so thats explains why mostly period drama lead actors won awards for their acting...kim myung min deserves it too...but BYJ deserves MORE...

just my opinion...

Actually, I think it's pretty hard to be disappointed in the awards because practically every fan favorite got some sort of an award so it's all good
