“The Legend Of The Blue Sea” Cast Sit Down For Table Reading, Air Date Confirmed

Along with the announcement that “The Legend of the Blue Sea” — starring Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun — will air on November 16, SBS revealed photos from the drama’s first table reading, which was held this past October 8 after the cast returned from filming overseas.

Writer Park Ji Eun, who previously worked with Jun Ji Hyun on “My Love From the Star,” said, “It’s an honor to be working with such great actors. I’ll do my best to make this a drama that leaves great memories for everyone.”

Jun Ji Hyun, playing the last mermaid in the world who steps foot into a city for the first time, expertly portrayed the emotions of her character and the various, hilarious troubles she finds herself in.

Lee Min Ho, taking on the character of Heo Joon Jae, a genius conman, previewed the many faces he will be wearing in the drama, along with the chemistry of the conmen trio in the drama, made up of Lee Min Ho, Lee Hee Joon, and Shin Won Ho.

A drama staff member said, “Having the cast — including Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Min Ho, and Lee Hee Joon — come together after about two months of filming, it was a fun table reading. Please support and encourage this project, and watch the actors take on new challenges with us.”

Wow jjh's super gorgeous without makeup.. I agree on the commnt that she looks like her my sassy girl days with black hair... but there's still negative ones ahahah.. do they need glasses?? Really?? She looks like an aunt?? Ahahahah.... or is there a problem with my eyes?? She looks so young for me hahaahha...

Eh, there is only like a couple of negative ones and more positive ones. Not bad for "Nate" which usually has "Hate" comments. Besides NB only translated comments from one article. It would have been boring for her to post the articles with the most comments which are mostly positive with a lot of up votes. It wouldn't be interesting read then.

Hahahha ...yeah that would be boring and the only good thing with negative commnts is that theres always someone contradicting/defending their biases..Im just not used to others saying that she looks old cause it doesnt seem likely... but when theyre commnting that shes plain face etc etc... it kinda seems fun to read ( i know beauty is in the eye of beholder) and whatever those celebs do.. theres always negativity/critcizing from knetz and inetz.. adds to the spice right!!
