The problem is we don't see it that way.  IT is about a mentor and mentee relationship.

That’s okay. We view or understand things differently. I see that too, but that is just one part of it - in my view:D

We should start preparing our hearts for a sad open ending I guess.....sighh.

@kokodus what only matters to me is Gyeo-ul is on this preview. The last episode of the season:D

  2. In Chi Hong’s defense (it is because I have equal fondness to him as much as Ik Jun - I’m torn!). He already know Ik Jun has the advantage, he only had 4 years of knowing Song Hwa, out of the 20 years Ik Jun had. It was love at first sight. It was only in the recent time he finally confessed, which was met by rejection:(. The man has resilience, and SH appreciates that. I liked that he asked permission from SH to speak in banmal as a birthday present. She agreed. He was heavily criticised by hard core Ik- Song shippers, accusing Chi Hong of crossing the line.

They say all is fair in love and war. However, I wouldn’t consider his action cheating. I think, he’s trying to be on equal footing against Ik Jun as much as he can in the battle of winning the woman’s affection. Ik Jun was marking his territory (sort of) by attending the NS department dinner, when he should be with his three friends. Ik Jun is just everywhere around Song Hwa:D. That must have triggered Chi Hong. I didn’t see his gesture as being disrespectful. He is as much as a gentleman like Ik Jun.

  3. Song Hwa’s discomfort from IkJun’s indirect confessions could stem from the rejection to Seok Hyung 20 years ago. I’m sure she didn’t see this coming after his divorce. Moving to Sokcho will do her good, away from Ik Jun and Chi Hong. If we consider Seok Hyung’s point of view (if SW and IJ be a couple) he would think, “It was Ik Jun she liked all this time.”

Will this change the dynamics of their friendship? Possibly not. However, are they being honest? Take Jun Wan for example, he couldn’t even come clean to Ik Jun about Ik Sun (though I have a feeling Ik Jun knows) they’ve been friends longer than the rest. To some degree, it will be the same for Ik Jun and Son Hwa, if they decide to take that path.

Having love lines outside of their circle is the safest (Jeong Won and Gyeo-ul. Jun Wan and Ik Sun. Seok Hyung and Minah). Regarding the love triangle....I leave it to the writer to sort out :D

  4. This Ik Jung- Song Wah - Chi Hong love triangle is...SIGH. Ik Jun had 20 years of friendship. Chi Hong had 4 years of being her resident. Song Wah is over that love during her 20’s. Ik Jung is given a chance for his first love. Chi Hong is opening his heart to a new love. Them poor hearts.

My two babies -Jeong Won & Gyeo-ul. Our Winter Garden . It was a rather slow yet steady development...but I wouldn’t have it any other way. That OR scene was very romantic, I agree. Winter is coming. Gyeo-ul’s moment to shine. Faced with a much bigger challenge. Can she refuse Rosa’s desperate plea to convince Jeong Won to stay? I have faith in this girl.

Will we get an answer on whether Jeong Won did or did he not sneak a visit to ER when Gyeo-ul had a drug allergy reaction? Was he responsible for arranging Gyeo-ul’s phone, glasses and ID badge? Thursday, please come sooner...

  5. I come in peace. I apologize in advance should my post cause the reader any form of distress (or laughter :D). Not trying to be profound, only my silly mind on overdrive.

Was there a scene I missed wherein the camera was focused on Joeng Won’s Crocs? Specifically on the jibbitz charms? Was it a scene with Song Wah from previous episodes? Did Jeong Won played footsies with Song Wah? Nah...but she did with Ik Jun though. Flashback- cafeteria scene with JW and CH, she kicked him under the table, very hard to miss that part :D.

I certainly didn’t miss the focus on coffees, mugs, loafer shoes, even yukjeon (from Gyeu-ol) from previous episodes.

There was one for Jeong Won and Gyeo-ul. Rewind episode 5 - ED scene. Gyeo-ul chased abusive father. Camera focused on Jeong Won’s Crocs (no zooming on the jibbitz charms thoughnext to his are Gyeo-ul’s Crocs and stethoscope :D.

Rainbow - One rainy night. Who shared that moment with Jeong Won? It was Gyeo-ul, right? Outside ED entrance, he was just leaving, she was arriving dropped by her brother (now we know:D). However, on two rainy nights, Song Wah was with Ik Jun. In one, she was minding U-ju who was running a temperature. Later, indirect confession from Ik Jun as they share a meal. Beautiful scene, by the way. If rainbow came out, it wasn’t shown yet...who with? We don’t know:o

Flower - who walked in the GS’s communal office/lounge (whatever you call it) just as they were celebrating Gyeo-ul being (supposedly) confessed by a guy? It was Jeong Won. She had the bouquet of red roses (though not sunflower but still a flower).

(**The significance is the colour red. One of the two scenes between Jeong Won and Gyeo-ul shared where colour red stood out (flashback red Eskie - content liver donor). I was wondering, he has his own office why there when he was supposed to work? LOL!)

Ik Jun and Song Wah shared a scene too that colour red stood out. Flashback - basement parking scene waiting for Jun Wan’s car. She was holding a red flask and the exchange of holds between them. Her top was yellow (colour of sunflower).

Turtle - with the slow burn and speed Jeong Won is going when to acknowledge his feelings towards Gyeo-ul (I’m telling you know it’s NOT hate:D). It is turtle speed.

  6. All characters are lovely in this drama. Of course, the Fab 5 are given. Different levels of maturity and skills (professionally and with people). I’m a Jang Gyeo-ul supporter but I also appreciate Chu Minah. I have a soft spot for Chi Hong (especially), Jae Hak and Seok Min. Uju is such a charmer. Jung So and Rosa are great additions. Ik Sun is funny. Everyone are co-existing happily, dealing with life’s ups and downs.

It’s not Song Wah. You got it all wrong, Mum” - Jeong Won. Rosa reacted happily, assuming he is seeing someone. “It was a slip of the tongue.” - Jeong Won. No, that’s your heart talking (cough, cough Jang Gyeo-ul :D)

**Jeong Won won’t be able to go to Italy, COVID -19 pandemic is looming :D

This is what I meant, Gyeo-ul is really keeping herself not to get close to Jeong Won. So painful to watch. YYS aka Jeong Won looks so good in drums!

  8. I’m glad I got a lot of Dr Chi-Hong and Seok in’s screen time in last night’s episode, lots of neurosurgery cases. Potential rival for Seok Hyong’s attention. Minah be aware dear...Dr. Huggy Bear (I love to call him that) might be stolen from under your nose:D. Great scenes from the rest of the characters, including the cute U-ju .

Jeong Won, Gyeo-ul and Ik Jun scenes are always my favourite. Our house Winter Garden shipper has stepped up the game, he now tries to catch Jeong won’s reaction with the mention of Gyeo-ul’s name, hahaha! Cute:lol:. Good job Dr Lee :D. I need more scenes of Jeong Won witnessing Gyeo-ul dropped off, picked up by a guy - brother or not (he doesn’t know anyway:D). The PICU scenes - Jeong Won’s demeanour has finally changed. Gyeo-ul is really doing her best to explain the surgery (it is really hard to explain medical terms in layman’s words), he came to the rescue . A beautiful smile from Jeong Won at last, but Gyeo-ul can only give an awkward smile back after the hug. While he is more relaxed, Gyeo-ul is really guarded, and I think it’s a good thing:).

Two things I noted on the preview: 1. What’s that reaction by Ik Jun on the announcement of the other Professor about Gyeo-ul potentially dating? 2. Gyeo-ul distanced herself, when Jeong Won stepped back and got a little too close?

I’ll patiently wait until next week, I’m refusing to be misled with the rest of the preview :)

@40somethingahjumma Thank you for the fanfic. Another great work:wub:
