  1. Let's keep cheering our friend to keep her pen busy. Here's another one for the road :)

    Spoiler

Seyoung was waiting in the balcony steps of Wooyoung’s cottage when his car pulled in, holding the first aid box and a bag of strawberries.

‘Hi.’ Seyoung greeted. Her cheeks red from the cold wind. ‘I was waiting for you.’

‘Why?’ Wooyoung asked, walking past Seyoung to unlock the door.

‘We need to change the wound dressing.’ Seyoung answered. 'Did you go for a drive after you left the restaurant?’ She asked to keep the conversation going.

‘Seyoung-shi.’ Wooyoung turned to face her. ‘Why are you doing this?’ He asked, looking annoyed.

‘I just want to help.’ Seyoung explained. ‘You…you might get infection.’ She stammered.

‘Whether I get infected or not is none of your concern.’ Wooyoung said bluntly. ’And to help? Do I look like I need help?’ He opened the door and went inside.

‘Then don’t get hurt again. Please.’ Seyoung begged, leaving the first aid box and strawberries by the door before turning to leave. Wooyoung went to the kitchen and got himself a drink, ignoring what she said. Seconds later, he heard a thud and Seyoung screaming. He immediately rushed outside to see what’s going on. He found Seyoung sitting on the last plight of the steps. It appears that she slipped and landed on her bottom. He quickly went down to help her get up.

‘Are you okay?’ Wooyung asked, when they’re both seated at the stairs.

‘I’m alright. I’m not hurt at all.’ Seyoung said. ‘Thank you.’

‘Are you sure?’ He asked again.

‘Don’t worry. I’m fine.’ Seyoung replied.

‘I’m not worried about you.’ He said seriously. ‘It’s the steps I’m worried about if you’ve damaged the poor thing.’ Wooyoung added, looking around pretending to check the stairs.

He turned, and their eyes meet. As if on cue, they both burst out laughing. Seyoung laughed so hard tears starts rolling down her cheeks. Then hers turned into a sob, her shoulder shook, covering her face with her hands. Seyoung suddenly felt Wooyoung put his arm around her, drawing her close.

‘Shhh. You didn’t break the stairs.’ He said. Seyoung’s cry grew louder with his comment. Wooyoung held her even closer. They stayed in that position for few minutes, no one uttered a single word. Only feeling each others warmth. Seyoung’s arms went around his back, holding on to him. Not letting go.

Saranghae.’ Seyoung said in a muffled voice.

‘Did you say something?’ Wooyoung asked, didn’t quite hear what she said. Seyoung extracted herself from his embrace to look at him. Her eyes red, her nose even worse. Wooyoung wiped her cheeks dry with his bandaged hand. ‘Since when did you become such a cry baby?’ He asked.

‘When I made the worst decision of my life five years ago.’ Seyoung said.

    ‘What was that?’ Wooyoung asked.

‘When I gave up on us.’ Seyoung answered. 'Can you forgive me?’ Tears still flowing.

‘What is there to ask for forgiveness. It wasn’t your fault.’ Wooyoung answered, still wiping the tears away.

‘It was my fault.’ Seyoung insisted.

‘Fine. It’s your fault.’ Wooyoung replied, smiling this time.

‘I miss you so much.’ Seyoung said, but Wooyoung said nothing, he just kept staring at the beautiful woman in front of him. ‘Why?’ She asked in wonder. Wooyoung answered the question with a kiss. He leaned forward, one hand went behind her neck, pulling her close. His kiss was soft and gentle at first. Bold and aggressive the next second. Seyoung didn’t hold back either, her hand went to touch Wooyoung’s cheek, then moved towards the nape, the part where she used to touch him. Her kiss probing deeper. Wooyoung pulled her up with him, not breaking the kiss, hands on each other’s body. Slowly but surely, they walked inside the cottage. Wooyoung kicked the door shut, locked themselves in for the rest of the evening. First aid box and strawberries left outside, forgotten.

  2. Next...

    Spoiler

Wooyoung woke up before sunrise the next day. He planned to go hiking after breakfast. Sleep didn’t come easy, his mind in turmoil, his hand sore. He didn’t know what to feel seeing her once again. He looked at his injured hand, the feel of Seyoung’s hand last night gently wrapping the bandage around it was nice. ‘Snap out of it Wooyoung. She means nothing to you now.’ Said to himself before going for the shower. Seyoung glanced towards Wooyoung’s cottage as she was leaving to go to town, sun has risen and can still feel the air of dampness from last night's cold. She couldn’t see any form of activity from the parking lot. He is probably not up yet, she thought. The vision of seeing Wooyoung’s back walking away from last night was a painful sight, worse than that day she told him it was over. Seyoung wondered if she can last the day with barely enough sleep.

‘What do you expect Park Seyoung? That he will jump for joy at the sight of you? You left him broken!’ Seyoung telling herself off. ‘I wonder if he slept alright with that injured hand?’ She thought. ‘Kurae. He’s a man, he should be okay.’

But Wooyoung was such a baby when he is not feeling well. One time he came home with a graze to his forearm due to a minor accident at dance practice. He said he it hurt a lot that he couldn’t raise his arm to feed himself or undress. Seyoung told him not to be coy, it’s not like he lost an arm. He begged her in the most endearing way, she gave in. He knew her weakness and know how to play the game. But it was a different Wooyoung she saw last night, she was the one who begged him to clean his wound, gone was the endearing man she knew. Unbeknown to her, Wooyoung was watching her from the inside and didn’t move until Seyoung had driven off.

Seyoung met the rest of the volunteers in the town central park. There were familiar faces she recognized and one of them was Siwon. He joined the church four years ago when he moved to Seoul from Daejon, when he got hired as an engineers for Samsung Motors. Although she sees him during the service, yet they were only formally introduced early last year. Siwon was always polite, well -mannered towards her. In the year she knew him, they never went beyond the ‘friendly hello’ stage.

‘Good morning Park Seyoung-shi.’ He greeted the moment he saw her.

‘Good morning Siwon-shi.’ Seyoung replied back. ‘Great that you made it.’

‘Yes, me too. This is my second time.’ Siwon said. ’So finally you managed to come this time.’

'I’m not working at the moment, so it’s great timing. How did you find last year’s one?’ She asked.

‘It was great. That’s why I made sure to come again. My way of giving back. The support I got from everyone was great when I moved to Seoul.’ Siwon answered.

‘Seyoung-shi! Siwon-shi! Time to go.’ Ahjumonni calling their attention to follow her to the waiting bus that will take them to the strawberry farm, the group is helping with the harvest.

It was lunch by the time Wooyoung returned from hiking. He noticed Seyoung’s car wasn’t there yet as he was walking back to his cottage. He went for second shower to wash away the sweat after the two miles hike he did. After showering, he went to see what he could eat for lunch, there was only small leftover food Seyoung cooked from last night in the fridge. The rest wasn’t very appealing. Then he remembered there was beef soup restaurant he saw in town as he was passing the other day, he decided to go there. Wooyoung went to the restaurant, he found himself a quiet corner and ordered. While waiting for the food, a group of people started arriving, filling the small restaurant quickly. One of the last person that walked in was Seyoung. She didn’t see Wooyoung sitting in the corner table because she was talking to the man who came with her. He discreetly watched the man usher Seyoung to an empty chair, one hand to her back before he sat down next to her. It was only when his order arrived that Seyoung saw him, her eyes was following the hot pot which table it was going to be served. She excused herself from the group and went over to Wooyooung.

‘Hello Wooyoung-shi.’ She greeted. ‘How’s your hand this morning?’

‘It hurts.’ Wooyoung told her. Because I don’t like how happy you look talking to that guy, he thought.

‘Really? Did you take the painkillers I gave you last night?’ Seyoung asked.

‘No.’ Wooyoung said. He lied. He took some last night and this morning too before he went hiking.

‘Why?’ Seyoung asked. He just looked at her and ignored the question. Picked up a piece of beef rib from the boiling pot by hand but dropped it straight away because it burned his finger.

‘Be careful.’ Seyoung immediately grabbed his hand and dipped it in the glass of water in front of him. ‘Don’t give yourself more injuries!’ Seyoung snapped. But then, Wooyoung gave her that look. ’I’m sorry.’ She apologized.

‘Is everything okay Seyoung-shi?’ Siwon asked coming over to Wooyoung’s table after hearing the small commotion.

‘No. He burned his finger.’ Seyoung answered, keeping Wooyoung’s finger dipped in the glass. ‘By the way, Siwon-shi, this is Jang Wooyoung-shi, a friend of mine. Siwon-shi came to volunteer today.’ Seyoung introduced the two men.

‘Anyeonhasaeyo. My name is Kim Siwon- mida.’ He extended his hand to Wooyoung for a handshake which he accepted with his bandaged hand. ‘What happened?’ Siwon asked referring to Wooyoung’s other hand.

‘Minor accident.’ Wooyoung answered briefly. ‘I’m good now. Thank you.’ Telling Seyoung, she let go of his hand.

‘Seyoung-shi. Should we order now? They are waiting for you.’ Siwon asked.

‘Yes.’ She answered.’Be careful.’ Turning to Wooyoung.

‘Kenchana. Go back to your table.’ Wooyoung told her. She stood up and walked back with Siwon. Wooyoung continued to eat in silence, he would catch a glimpse towards Seyoung when she wasn’t watching. Yet, a couple of times, their eyes met. Seyoung smiling at him with a concerned look. Wooyoung bent his head down, smiled in secret victory.

Siwon offered to walk Seyoung to the car park after they bid goodbye to everybody. The person who organized the outreach program expressed his appreciation to everyone who came. The owner of the strawberry farm gave everyone at least two kilos worth of strawberry. Wooyoung left the restaurant ahead of them. She saw him get up, paid his food at the counter without looking at her direction.

‘Are you heading back to Seoul?’Siwon asked, carrying both his and Seyoung’s bag of strawberries on his insistence.

‘No. I am staying few more days. There are things I have planned to do here.’ Seyoung replied.

‘The friend you saw at the restaurant earlier, is he on holiday too?’ Siwon asked, referring to Wooyoung.

‘You mean Wooyoung-shi?’ Seyoung clarified. Siwon nodded. ‘I bumped into him by chance yesterday. I don’t really know what his plans are.’ Seyoung said.

‘Okay.’ Siwon smiled. ‘I’m going back to Seoul. I need to go back to work tomorrow. I’ll see you around?’ He said when they reached her car and gave her the bag of strawberries, waited for her to get in to the car.

‘It was nice to see you. And thank you for carrying my strawberries.’ Seyoung said. ‘Drive safely.’ Waved at him before driving away.

  3. Have a great weekend everyone. Here's more :)

    Spoiler

Wooyoung stayed in his room the whole time Seyoung prepared dinner. He sat in the balcony with the hot drink he made minutes ago. Although thankful for what she did to his hand and cooking dinner, he wasn’t ready to face Seyoung. It seems he is stuck with her company for the night but it doesn’t mean they can act like nothing happened, at least for him. When Seyoung decided to break up, he was basically told it was not negotiable. She was miserable beyond his comfort. Seyoung did not need to say it in so many words, her body language said it all. After they met in 2014 from a reality show, Seyoung was in dispute from her ex-agency shortly after. They wanted control every aspect of her life, including who she dates, the people she mingles with. Seyoung raised her objection. It was not part of the agreement that she’d be dictated how she runs her personal affairs. A mutual decision was made to seek mediation. While it was on going, all her showbiz activities were halted, endorsements and drama offers withdrawn. It was the longest eight months of Seyoung’s life. His career on the other hand was the opposite. The schedule was crazy full because of the group comeback, including series of concerts locally and overseas. They were in the early stage of the relationship then, but Seyoung took them all on board and supported him despite the odds. She knew what she got into when she decided to date him and was ready for it. They can never be seen in public or it will have a massive negative impact on his career, if a scandal breaks out, Seyoung will be the target by obsessed fans. Mobile phone became their lifeline. Dating was in the privacy of their apartments. It was difficult, yet she held on, because that’s who Seyoung is. When she made a comeback after winning the dispute, work did not come easy. She signed up with another agency and basically started her career from scratch. Seyoung told him her dream was not to become famous, rather be recognized for her passion with acting. She wanted to do quality dramas and movies and be proud of them. She also wanted to become a director one day. But the challenge was harder than what she expected. Competition was very stiff. Eventually, offers came and Seyoung gave her all. Wooyoung had her full support. But time was the worst enemy and Seyoung reached her limit. Wooyoung couldn’t give up. He loved her that much. When Seyoung told him, she needed space, he knew it was the end. He refused, hoping they can talk it out. But she already made up her mind. Seyoung made him feel as if he had no say in the matter and won’t listen to reason. Pride took the best of him and walked away. Though wished he didn’t just disappear because the fact was, life was miserable without her. Wooyoung learned overtime, life had to go on even how lonely it gets.

‘Wooyoung-shi.’ Seyoung knocked on his bedroom door.’Dinner is ready.’ Wooyoung opened the door, went to the dining table and sat in one of the chairs. She followed and sat opposite him.

‘How is it?’ Seyoung asked anxiously after he tasted the dish.

‘Not bad,’ Wooyoung replied. ‘Are you not eating?’ He asked.

‘I will.’ Seyoung dug in to her bowl of rice as if on cue. She was glad of his remark. Then she placed a small piece of beef to his rice bowl. He looked at her. ‘Sorry.’ She said and went back to her food.

While preparing dinner, Seyoung keep glancing at the closed bedroom wondering what he was doing. Seyoung made the beef bulgogi extra special. She cut the carrots in flower shapes, capsicums in strips, even the sesame seed garnishing sprinkled nicely on top of the beef. Kimchi served on side plates well- arranged too. The chopsticks and spoon laid out straight. Wooyoung never came out. He hates me, she thought and gave out a sigh. While rice was cooking and bulgogi simmering in the pot, Seyoung went over to his bedroom with a bottle of water. She remembered, he always have one everywhere he goes. But she just couldn’t get herself to knock on the door until dinner was ready.

‘What brought you here?’ Seyoung asked to break the ice.

‘Why are you here?’ Wooyoung answered the question with another question instead.

‘I’m here to volunteer for an outreach program tomorrow.’ Seyoung replied. ‘You?’

‘To rest.’ Wooyoung answered briefly, not looking at her.

‘For how long.’ Seyoung asked again. Wooyoung leaned back to look at her. ‘Why do you want to know?’ He asked curiously.

‘No reason really. I’m only asking that’s all. You don’t have to tell me.’ She said looking straight at him. ‘I plan to stay for at least a week.’ Seyoung added. This is the first time they looked at each other in the eye since the meeting at the supermarket.  Seyoung noticed Wooyoung looked more handsome than ever. Those smooth cheeks she loved to caress, his jaw more chiseled than before and the lips red like how she remembered.

‘Good for you.’ Wooyoung replied, leaning forward again to finish his food. Then he coughed out a bit. Seyoung immediately poured him a drink. ‘Kenchana?’ Wooyoung raised his palm to say he is fine before taking the drink from her. Seyoung can tell he had no plans of disclosing anymore information to her. The rest of the meal was spent in awkward silence.

‘I’ll take care of the dishes.’ He said moments later, stood up and brought the empty rice bowl to the sink. ’Thank you for cooking.’ He sat back down on the same chair, waiting for Seyoung to finish.

‘I’m done.’ Seyoung put down her chopstick not long after.

‘You haven’t finished the rice.’ Wooyoung said.

‘I’m not hungry anymore.’ Seyoung stood up, threw the leftover rice to the bin and placed the bowl in the sink. Got herself a drink before going to pick up her jacket that was sitting on the back rest of the couch and put them on. ’I was happy to cook for you. I’d like to help with the dishes but I’m getting tired. It’s been a long day for me.’ Seyoung said,’Goodnight, Wooyoung-ah.’ Seyoung didn’t wait for his response and walked towards the door. Wooyoung stood there watching her leave.

Seyoung can no longer hold back the tears the moment she was out the door. Blinding her vision as she quickened her pace heading towards her cottage. This time, she struggled to get the key in. The bad lighting and her tears made it worst.

‘I’ll open the door for you.’ Before she knew it, Wooyoung took the keys from her hand unlocking the front door. ‘You go in. It’s very cold.’ He told her. Seyoung looked at him, surprised by his sudden appearance. Wooyoung gave her a little push to go inside. ‘Goodnight Seyoung-ah.’ He said before turning to leave.

‘Wooyoung-ah!’ She called out to him. ‘Would you like some tea?’ Seyoung offered.

‘No.’ He flatly answered. Seyoung watched him walk back to his cottage as another tear rolled down her cheek.

  4. Here's the next part. Enjoy :)

    Spoiler

Seyoung went back to her cottage, placed her bag of groceries on the table, sat herself on the chair. The chance meeting with Wooyoung at the supermarket shattered her. Why their path crossed again after these years, when things are fine. She’s back on track with her career and with her life. The split up wasn’t easy. And knew she was to blame. Wooyoung loved her the way he knew he could. But his love couldn’t stop the insecurities growing inside her. At that time, her career wasn’t going the way she wanted. His was steady and strong. Despite his busy schedule, whatever free time he’s got, he made sure he spends it with her, to make up for the days he was away for work. When projects rolled in, he would patiently wait for her until she gets home from out of town filming and cook her food. As work became constant, it has taken toll on their relationship. Juggling quality time with Wooyoung and her schedule were too much to handle. Then one day, she told him she needed space, a time out. He refused. She said what is the point when he will be enlisting soon. Seyoung knew, she gave him one big blow. Wooyoung said before they started dating, it will be devastating if his would be girlfriend break up with him before enlistment. Two years was a long time being away from the person you love, she told him. Can't promise him she'll wait. The absence and distance makes the heart forget. He said he will do his best to make it work. But she refused. Told him it was for the best. That was the last time she saw Wooyoung, until today. Work was her refuge, getting her mind off him. She had deep regrets of letting Wooyoung go, but was too proud to accept it. Her friends updated her of his activities. That’s how she learned of the army enlistment. The fact remained, she was a fan before she was his girlfriend. Seyoung pretended not to care when the topic of him comes up, but deep inside she misses him a lot. She had established herself in the industry. Nowadays, Seyoung is in the position to choose her work. There were suitors, lots of them but it is their sincerity that scared her. She can’t help but compare them with Wooyoung. Or maybe, she has trust issues. She couldn’t trust herself not to do the same thing, like she did to him. It was her decision, she cupped the consequences she deserved for hurting a good man.

‘What are you crying for?’ Seyoung asking herself as tears kept comingt. 'Why does it still hurt so much?' Asking herself again.

Wooyoung parked his car when he reached a hill. He drove his car aimlessly for ten minutes after leaving Seyoung at the supermarket. He got out of the car and ran where the hill ends.

“Why?’ He screamed at the top of his lungs, dropped on his knees and wept punching the ground until his knuckles bled. He doesn’t want to rehash the pain. The hurt he felt back then. It was after an hour or so that Wooyoung went back to his cottage. Noticed the white SUV that was there earlier was gone but the lights were on from the cottage at the opposite end from his. He went to shower and cleaned his wounded hand. Looked for the first aid box in the bathroom cupboard but couldn’t find any. He went out to see if he had one in the car, but no luck. He decided to go to the reception area and see if they have a first aid kit to dress his wounds and they are beginning to sting. He could see car headlights slowly approaching. He moved to the side of the driveway when the car stopped next to him. It was the same SUV he saw earlier in the day.

‘Wooyoung-shi.’ Seyoung called his name, when she put the windows down. Wooyoung looked at her in surprise. She recognized him straight away as she was driving towards the cottage, slowed down to make sure she wasn’t mistaken. He was wearing the same jacket he had on at the supermarket. She noticed how he was checking his right hand like it was injured, blowing on them even.

‘Are you okay?’ Seyoung asked, looking at his hand, noticing the cuts to his knuckle. Seyoung got out and reached for it to get a closer look. ‘You are hurt.’ She said.

‘What are you doing?’ Wooyoung asked, pulling his injured hand away from the hold.

‘I was just making sure your hand was okay.’ Seyoung said. ’Sorry.’

‘It’s nothing.’ Wooyoung said and started walking.

‘I have a first aid box in my car.’ Seyoung offered.

‘Thanks. But no thanks,’ Wooyoung said and continued walking, not even looking at her.

‘There was no one at the reception if you are going that way. I was there not long ago.’ Seyoung said.

Damn this woman! Why does she always know what I was thinking or going to do, Wooyoung thought. He stopped at his tracks and walked back to his cottage. His hand painful as hell and she isn’t helping.

Seyoung hopped back to her car, droved past him and parked in front of the lighted cottage. She then grabbed the first aid box from the boot and waited for Wooyoung. But he just walked past and ignored Seyoung walking straight towards his cottage.

‘You’re staying there?’ Seyoung asked. ‘Wooyoung-shi.’ Seyoung called again when he didn’t reply.

‘What now?’ Wooyoung snapped at her. He saw the startled look on Seyoung’s face, she bit her lower lip to stifle a cry.

‘Let me put a dressing on your hand.’ Seyoung said seconds after she regained her composure from his snap. ’It’s bleeding.’

‘Don’t worry it won't kill me.’ Wooyoung replied in sarcasm and proceeded to open his cottage door.

‘From the wound, no. But from tetanus, yes.’ She retorted purely out of concern. ‘Can you just please put aside your pride and let me clean the wound.’ Seyoung said it before she can stop herself.

‘Pride?’ Wooyoung caught on what she said. ’Big word.’He said it with a tone of sarcasm again. But Wooyoung’s hands were shaking both from the cold and pain, the key fell to the ground. Seyoung immediately picked it up but moved her hand away. ‘I can do it.’

Seyoung stood back watching him struggle with the door. ‘Let me.’ This time Seyoung just took the key before he can protest. Seyoung opened it in two seconds. Wooyoung went past her to go in turning on more lights. Seyoung stood at the door holding the first aid box, afraid of taking another step forward. He went to the sink to wash his bleeding hand.

‘Are you just going to stand there all night or dress my hand.’ Wooyoung said. Seyoung immediately closed the door and went to him.

‘What happened?” Seyoung asked while putting antiseptic ointments to each cut.

‘I hit the ground.’ Wooyoung answered. ’Literally.’

‘I’m sorry.’ Seyoung asked, putting on a cover to his cuts.

‘Don’t flatter yourself Park Seyoung.’ Wooyoung replied. ’Ouch! Gently?’ Half glaring at her. She briefly looked up to him then went back to his wounds.

‘I’m sorry for being presumptive.’ Seyoung said, rolling the bandage to hold the square dressing in place. Wooyoung lifted his hand allowing her to wrap the bandage around it. Seyoung then cleared the stuff away and excused herself, taking the first aid box with her. She came back with a packet of pain killer tablets.

‘I’ll leave this here. Take two tablets after you had your food.’ Seyoung placed them on the table and turned to leave.

‘Have you eaten?’ Wooyoung asked. Seyoung shook her head.’You can cook us some dinner if you want.’ Wooyoung said, raising his bandaged hand to her.

‘What do you have here?’ Seyoung asked. Wooyoung told her to check the fridge. Seyoung took out a packet of thinly sliced beef, capsicum and a carrot. Went to the pantry, found a jar of bulgogi sauce, rice and onions. ’Will this do?’ Seyoung asked him and said yes.

‘I apologise for snapping at you earlier.’ Wooyoung said, watching Seyoung getting all the ingredients ready.

‘It’s not your fault. I was being pushy.’ Seyoung replied, getting on with dinner preparation.

‘Thank you for doing my hand.’ Wooyoung added.

‘You’re welcome.’ Seyoung replied back. This time, Seyoung saw a forced smile forming on Wooyoung’s  lips.

    Spoiler

                                                         A Love Story in Pyeongchang

Wooyoung stood by the bedroom balcony, the view is breathtaking. The combined hues of light brown and yellow dominating the surroundings of the cottage is magnificent. As the wind blows, leaves are falling on ground gathering a thick pile covering the earth. The two- bedroom cottage he was given was at the end block in the group of three. A request he specified when he asked his assistant to book. It lies in the middle of towering fir trees and buckwheat plants. Nestled twenty minutes north from the town centre which is perfect spot for him to rest and be with nature. It has modern furniture made of wood and a fireplace. The dining room table can seat four people. The kitchen appliances are made of stainless steel and a large fridge and freezer standing in the corner. The kitchen drawers are where crockeries and cutlery are kept. The bedroom have a queen sized bed with an intricately designed headboard made again of wood. With cushion in the middle, across where one can rest their heads comfortably and matching bedside tables. The bathroom and toilet has a massive bath tub that can fit two people easy with spa feature. The separate rain shower cubicle was next to it. There are fresh towels in the cupboard. Overall it has what he needed and more. The skiing province have caught the world stage when the Winter Olympics was held there few years ago. Him and the boys were invited to perform in the middle of the games. Currently Autumn, it didn’t have the influx of tourists coming like it does in winter which suits him even better. But it is ideal for trekking and mountain climbing in the cool months. The two years he did in the frontline gave him a different perspective in life. As a fifteen-year old boy from the coastal city of Busan, he dreamed of being on TV, sing, dance and perform in large crowds with screaming fans saying your name was all he ever wanted and achieved it. Hard work paid off. The glitz, glamour and parties. Lots of parties and the attention were addictive. The recent years were a roller coaster ride when it comes to relationships too. The last one was painful and took him a while to recover. There were numerous temptations, indecent proposals through the years coming from daughters of multimillionaires and even wives of the country’s elite. Younger and older than him alike. When he was on his sixth month of service he was told a specially delivered parcel came for him. It was a small box made from sandal wood. What’s inside gave him a shock, it contains two car keys, one for a BMW, the other for a Mercedez-Benz. There was a note saying, “Only the beginning. More are coming if you marry me’. A name was signed next to an embossed logo of a well-known car company and a kiss mark in red. He immediately brought it back to the postal officer to return it to sender. But those kind of parcels kept coming, he had to put a stop to it. He requested by writing to the officer in charge of his refusal to accept any gifts except from his family or without his prior notification. When he was nearing the end of his enlistment, he asked his agency for a two months rest to desensitise himself from military life. He told his parents the same, which they fully understand. He left a day early than the scheduled date. At the crack of dawn, his brother-in-law waited for him at the gate of the base camp he was stationed. They caught the first flight to Busan, stayed for a week before coming to Pyeongchang.

‘Are you sure you’ll be fine driving the distance?’ Seyoung’s Mom asked in great concern while watching her daughter finishing her packing.

‘I’ll be okay Mom.’ Seyoung replied.’Don’t worry. I’ll be very careful and won’t do anything silly.’ Seyoung while walking towards the car to deposit her luggage.

‘If only I can come with you this time.’ Her Mom said. The plan was for them to go together. The church does a yearly outreach activity in country towns, but because of Seyoung’s sister about to give birth to her second child anytime soon, her Mom  chose to stay to be there and help with the new baby. It was a good timing for her because she is currently on indefinite break after the last project she did or until she’s ready to take on the next one. The last two years, Seyoung have missed out due to her schedules but this time it was held during her free time and don’t want to miss it.

‘Omma.No. Unni need you more. And besides I will be on holiday too. That’s why I opted to get a hired car so if I don’t feel like driving back, I’ll take a flight home.’ Seyoung reassured her mother. ‘I’d better go now. I want to be there before dark.’

‘Are you really staying there for a week?’ Her Mom asked again.

‘Or longer. I might like it there. Who knows?’ Seyoung replied smiling.

‘Your being too independent scares me sometimes.’ Her Mom answered back.

‘Omma, I will be okay. Promise.’ Seyoung said, giving her Mom a kiss and hug. ‘Tell Dad I left. I didn’t want to wake him up. Love you!’

The drive took her close to three hours, including the time finding her accommodation, which was located in the outskirts of town. Leaving Seoul wasn’t too bad due to her early start. Looking at the time, it is close to one o’clock when she brought her bag in the cottage. Earlier on, she dropped by the town information centre to ask for directions and took a local map. She is yet to meet the activity officer in two hours, giving her plenty of time to grab something to eat and buy quick and easy to prepare food and drinks to stock up the fridge. Seyoung quickly gave her Mom a call, letting her know she has arrived safe and spoke to her Dad briefly. Minutes later, she hopped back into the car and typed her destination in the built in navigation system of the car, Daegwallyeong-myeon town centre.

Wooyoung went out back to the balcony, thought he heard sounds from a car door closing, he saw a white SUV leaving the parking spot three bays away from where his car was. Whoever that was must only just got in. Feeling hungry he decided to drive to town to get something to eat. There wasn’t much customers when he got to the supermarket. The size was big enough and had what he needed. He bought drinks, fruits, vegetables, ramyeon, kimchi and rice. It didn’t take long and went straight to the check-out counter to pay for his purchases. When he went back to his car, he suddenly remembered he didn’t buy chocolates. Wooyoung quickly placed the bags in the boot of his car and went back in. He was directed by the sales person where the aisle for chocolates are found. He noticed there was only one person looking at the choices. She was wearing a blue baseball cap covering her eyes and black puffed long jacket. Her hair covering the face from the side view. He thought, she could be a celebrity in disguise looking at the way she is covered, like him. But something caught his attention, her hand gestures looked too familiar and the small hop she did that looked like she’s undecided which chocolate she’ll buy. And then it hit Wooyoung.

‘Park Seyoung?’ He called her name. The woman heard him and looked his way.

‘Wooyoung-shi?’ Seyoung said his name. The chocolate bar she was holding fell from her hand. He quickly reached out to catch it before landing on the ground.

‘It’s you.’ Wooyoung said and smiled but then, his expression changed.

‘Why are you here?’ Seyoung asked in complete surprise just like him.

‘Probably the same reason why you are here.’ Wooyoung said, handing Seyoung the bar of chocolate. ’How are you?’

‘I thought you were still in the army.’ Seyoung replied taking the chocolate from him.

‘I was discharged last week.’ Wooyoung answered. ‘How are you?’ He asked again.

‘I’m doing well. Thank you.’ Seyoung said.

‘That’s great to know.’ Wooyoung said, reaching out for bars of chocolate on display.

‘You get hives when you eat those.’ Seyoung quickly said when she saw the chocolates he had in his hand. ‘It’s got almonds.’

Wooyoung looked at Seyoung, then his eyes shifted to the chocolate bars he was holding. She’s right, it’s got almonds. Five years ago, he developed allergies from almonds. Seyoung was the one who noticed it. She prepared dinner for him because he didn’t have anything to eat all day, while waiting for the food to get ready, Seyoung gave him the chocolate almond bar she bought on her way to see him. Half an hour later, he complained of itching and rashes were appearing on his arms. They had to go hospital that night and got treated. His allergen level was checked and found out he developed allergies to almonds. Since then, he only eats milk chocolate bars.

‘Here.’ Seyoung handing him the milk chocolate variety.

‘Thank you.’ Wooyoung said after putting the chocolates he had back to it’s box. He took the ones Seyoung gave him. ‘Nice to see you again.’

‘Likewise.’ Seyoung replied. Wooyoung raised the chocolates as if waiving and turned to leave.

    ‘Wooyoung-shi.’ Seyoung called his name.

‘Yes?’ Wooyoung turned around to face her.

‘It’s really good to see you again.’ Seyoung said, smiling at him

‘Yeah, me too.’ Wooyoung replied and slowly walked away from her. Seyoung noticed he wasn't smiling.

  6. @chic-chic Thank you. I really enjoyed 2PM’s performance. It was close to 45mins long. It was great and awesome! Sad that Jun K wasn’t there. Wooyoung was giving his all, even going down the stage to be up close with the crowd. Yah, I noticed that too the other actress was playing ‘cute’. Hoenestly, one of the things I hated watching Korean variety shows, the commonality - the female celebrities, especially idol/actresses they just want to play cute all the time, it’s not funny! I like how Seyoung ad libbed telling the guy host he was with her yesterday too, hahaha!!

  7. Knowing Brothers show looked fun. I’m glad despite Seyoung very low key, Heechul know she is popular. With English subs now I understand why her facial expressions were like that, the other actress saying it out she is single and is looking for a boyfriend, hahaha! Something Seyoung will never say on national tv. The younger male host seem to favour SY more- can’t blame him she has a very unique beauty, not the typical Korean look.

I thought 2PM’s performance is during the actual closing ceremony. Unfortunately there was no chance for me to watch it on Monday, the YT video isn’t working either.

  8. Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy Chinese New Year to our friends here that are celebrating! Especially @Gerry58 :). It’s Year of the Dog.

It’s great to see Seyoung spending quality time with family...and what a better way to spend it than watch the Winter Olympics in home soil. From a sporty type like Seyoung it isn’t a surprise really. She ice skates better than WY:). I didn’t really know Seyoung’s name when I saw her from Man of the Equator. I didn’t have any favourite K-actors or actresses either, I go for the story line but then, I stumbled on WGM by chance and thought, I recognize this pretty girl in Glorious Days. I even said, how can they pair her to this ugly looking bloke with a half-blonde hair? Then found out WY was the name and 1/5 of idol group 2PM...the first ever clip I saw was that horror movie night they watched and he was being subtle to have ‘skinship’ with her, hahah! After that I researched the concept of the show. The rest was history...I got hooked since:)

  9. @mimisl123 It’s okay, don’t apologise we are pretty realistic here. Like you said, Seyoung is pretty honest when it comes to personal matters and doesn’t really divulge into details. This recent interview is the the first time she actually said something about love and marriage. As what @chic-chic said, every now and again we add a little bit of delulu for laughs, that’s all :D. We wish SY and WY well, whoever they may end up with .

I’m glad 2PM still performing at the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics despite Jun K’s absence. Well, that is being responsible as result of the actions his done. I can’t believe how some of the Koreans can be so unforgiving! So Nickhun’s DUI was the reason they lost their popularity in Korea.Everyone makes mistakes. Haven’t they heard of the saying, ‘To err is human, to forgive divine’ by Alexander Pope?

Seyoung dear, I got married a month after I turned 37...the only difference, I don’t have kids. Not that I don’t like children, I love and adore all my nieces and nephews...but at night time they need to go home to their Moms :D I need my sleep to work the next day :Dselfish it may sound but I liked our lifestyle how they are. It was a mutual decision between me and hubby. When you get older, your views change and I guess, get practical :D. Too old to run around after a two year old toddler when I’m forty, hahaha!

  10. Happy Valentine's Day:heart:  YY Nation:heart:

Love Seyoung's look..that red dress and blue sequined top looked great on her...well everything look good on her. It is very refreshing and very pretty as always. Curious to read her full interview.. @chic-chic your theory might be correct too. Late 30's means, she is waiting for someone to finish his army enlistment, haha! Love is hard...it is if you are dating an Idol like WY from 2PM...Oops! Did I say that out loud? Spreading love to all of you

    Jun K's DUI...very sad:(

  11. Where can I watch Jang Hyuk’s interview @Gerry58 and @kho39 -glad to see you again Chinguyah:) @elenskivios38 Seyoung posted in her IG (standing in a heavily snow covered road looking pretty and elegant) she is taking a break...in the translation it said she will be spending time with her family and friends. I gues another 3 month before her next project. For now let us just settle for er Knowing Brothers guesting that will be aired end of February.

  12. Seyoung finally posted. Is she saying goodbye to her character Na Mo Hyun? I hope she won’t have a long break. I know, how hard it must have been in freezing weather condition filming, but Money Flower production have really done so well, so it was all worth it. Even when she has current drama, SY is really good in keeping a very low profile...consistently. I love her so much but her being too quiet can be frustrating at times :D:D:D. At least with WY, he is appearing in variety shows and having fan meetings...

@Gerry58 Since he's still an idol he's just being safe in saying it's 50-50 hehehehe. Hopefully after his military service, both he and Sy are still single hehehehe.

I agree @chic-chic...what he said was only half the truth. WY is still being protective of SY. I bet you, WY’s heart skipped a beat when that scene from the pension was shown, thinking of how happy and jealous he was of SY’s kiss scenes in her drama.

Another bonus triop to Jeju Island for Seyoung...I wonder if our favourite 2PM is thinking of having a short trip there as well...hahaha!

    “Love Me Again”

SeYoung is waiting for EunHye in front of her house building. The air is still cold but you can already smell that summer is coming with the flowers and bright sun hitting her face. She got a little of break from filming, as she was filming non stop for the past weeks. She should be sleeping her break but EunHye practically begged her to accompany her to watch a play.

EunHye informed her earlier that she will be a bit late, so she decided to take a walk on the children’s playground in front of the building. She was walking along the road when a car stopped and buzz its horn to her. She was so surprised that she almost cursed.

“Nuna, why are you walking alone? Isn’t it dangerous for you to walk alone in the street like this?” a young man with a bright smile on the passenger seat of the car greeted her.

“Oh my gawd! JinWoon, I almost got an heart attack with that horn. What are you doing here?” she asked surprised.

“I’m on my way to Itaewon and then I saw you walking. I thought I was having a bad sight but it is really you. Aren’t you supposed to be filming?” he asked now getting down from his car.

“I’m on a little break before going back to filming early tomorrow. I wanted to walk around the playground while waiting for EunHye.” she explained.

“Oh you’re going somewhere?” he asked curiously.

“We’re going to watch a play.” she answered.

“What will you do after that?” he asked.

    “Probably sleep. Wae?” she asked.

“Would you like to come to my party tonight at seven? I would really be happy if you will come. We haven’t hang out for so long.” he said with a smile.

“Party?” she asked thinking. “Ah, mianhe. It is your birthday today. Happy Birthday.” she greeted.

“Ah you forgot. Jinjja, you always forgot my birthday when I always text and greets you on your birthday. I am so disappointed with you nuna.” he said pouting.

“Mianhe. I was too busy with the filming and I couldn’t even look at my phone or open my email, so I don’t get to see my reminder.” she said apologetically.

“You should make it up with me then by coming to my party tonight. It will be a special gift for me if I will see you there.” he said with his puppy eyes.

“I really want to but I don’t think I…” she said unable to finished what she wants to say.

“Don’t worry hyung is not coming. He’s still in Japan, his concert tour is still on going. He called me yesterday to say that he can’t come.” he said getting what she was trying to say. “Please? Nuna? I will be really happy if you can come.” he added.

“Okay I will drop by but I won’t be able to finish it cause I need to get back.” she said.

“Call. I will see you later then. It’s at SeulOng hyung restaurant. You know where that, right?” he asked.

“Yes I know where it is.” she confirmed.

“SeYoung-ie!” EunHye shouted parked in front of the building.

“Oh, EunHye is here. I will see you later. Be careful on the road.” she said before walking to where EunHye is.

“Be careful too. I will call you later to remind you, you might forget it again.” he said giving her a sweet smile.

“Keure.” she said waving her hand.

    “Who’s that?” EunHye asked.

“JinWoon. He invited to his birthday party tonight.” she said getting on the passenger seat.

“Are you coming?” she asked curiously before driving the car. “What if you see him there? They are like brothers, so he will be there for sure.” EunHye said.

“He’s still in Japan for his concert tour. He just called JinWoon yesterday to apologized for not making it.” she said. “And I don’t think it would be a problem if ever we see each other again. It’s been months and I think he already got over it.” she added.

“Have you heard his new song? Have you been active on SNS lately? I guess you’re not. I’m just worried that you might get hurt again, you know. I don’t want to see you cry anymore specially now that you’re starting to smile again.” she explained.

“I know. I think if that time comes that I need to face him, I will be fine. It’s not like we had a big fight or something, it was a mutual decision. So I will be fine, don’t worry.” she assured her.

“Would you want me to come with you? Just to be sure.” EunHye offered.

“Can you? I thought you have a practice later?” she said.

“Oh yes I forgot. Why don’t you call SooJin?” she suggested.

    “She’s in Jeju-do.” she answered.

“Just call me when something comes up or when your in need.” she said.

“Don’t worry about it. It’s not like I’m going to a war. It is a party, a birthday party where people have fun. And besides I haven’t seen and talk to JinWoon for a long time, so it’s time to catch up. And I’m sure the other guys will be there too.” she said giving her a smile but inside she’s really nervous.

ChanSung and JunHo are in JYP waiting for MinJun to finish his recording for his new album that will be release early next year, they agreed to come to the party together as TaecYeon and NichKhun already went this morning to Itaewon. The two youngest are waiting in the fourth floor where they usually take their vlive videos.

“Ah, what taking hyung this long? What time is it?” the impatience JunHo asked.

“It’s seven o’ five already. Maybe he is on his way here.” the optimistic maknae answered.

“Whose car are we driving to?” he asked.

    “Minjun hyung.” he simply answered.

“Ah yedeura, did you wait long? Miane. I just got out from the phone with WooYoung-ie. His plane just landed to Incheon airport a while ago and he’s on his way here.” MinJun informed them.

“WooYoung-ie is here? I thought he’s still going to shoot his music video before going back?” JunHo asked.

“It was moved next week, so he decided to come back.” MinJun answered.

“Yah, call him and tell him that we’ll just pick him up to his house. I don’t wanna sit here waiting for another minute.” JunHo said to ChanSung.

“Yo! JunHo is loosing his patience waiting here, so we’ll just pick you up in your house. I will call you when we’re in front so you can come out. Neh.” he said before ending the call.

“MinJun hyung should we tell WooYoung-ah about SeYoung-ssi?” ChanSung asked Minjun nervously.

“What about SeYoung-ssi?” Minjun answered with a question.

“JinWoon invited SeYoung-ssi to his party and she’s coming.” JunHo answered instead. “Did you see his video crying when he sang Day6’s Congratulations? It’s all over the net and fans are asking and speculating that he’s gone through a break up. They even gave a name of the girl and a lot were saying it must be SeYoung-ssi.” he added.

“Well, we can’t tell him not to come, he wanted to surprise JinWoon that’s why he didn’t tell him that he’s coming and we can’t tell JinWoon to uninvite SeYoung-ssi, that would be rude.” he said thinking. “Whatever. If they are meant to see other then let it be. Let’s just be there for him if he can’t handle it anymore.” he added.

    “Kaja.” ChanSung said.

SeYoung is back to her house after watching the play with EunHye. She took a quick shower before changing to a casual jeans and white shirt with the blue trench coat that still hanging in front of her closet. She sent a message to her manager informing him of her going to a birthday party in Itaewon and will be back as soon as possible to get some rest before going for the drama shoot early tomorrow.

She paused looking at herself in the mirror when what EunHye said about WooYoung came across her mind. She started to type something on her phone and videos pop out from the search engine. She clicked the one that was taken on April, the latest concert that WooYoung had done in Japan.

SeYoung felt a pain in her heart when she saw how WooYoung was having a hard time singing the song because he couldn’t control his emotion and cried in the middle of singing.

“Is he the WooYoung that I know? He’s so professional on stage, why can’t he control his emotion? I guess he’s still hurting like me. But if it hurts that much, all you need to do is call me or send me a message. I thought hearing the people seeing him partying with girls almost every night means he already moved on.” she asked herself when tears started to fall on her face. “Ah, what am I even thinking. It may not be about me. He might have had dated someone after we broke up and it is about the new girl.” she said wiping her tears. “Ah, now I need to redo my make up.” she said putting her phone down and walk in front of the mirror to fix her make up.

She was about to finish when her phone rings.

    “Oh, JinWoon-ah?” she answered.

“Nuna, you didn’t forget did you?” JinWoon asked.

“I didn’t. I’m on my way.” she confirmed.

“Okay, call me when you arrived.” he said.

“Neh.” she said before ending the call and went down to the parking.

“Ah uri WooYoung-ah.” JunHo greeted upon seeing him who is sitting on the backseat.

“Yah! Palli and get in.” ChanSung said who is driving MinJun’s car.

“Congratulations WooYoung-ah. We heard that the concerts were successful.” Minjun who’s sitting on the passenger seat shouted.

“Thanks hyung. It’s worth it waiting.” he said.

“Yah. What was that drama all about? You’re video crying is all over the internet. Did you really have to cry like that?” JunHo teased him.

“Ah, you’ve seen it? I don’t know, I couldn’t control my emotion, I just thought of her being with someone else made me wanna cry.” he answered.

“You mean that wasn’t stage? I thought you were playing with your fans.” MinJun asked turning to look at him.

“Jinjja hyung. I didn’t know that I would cry on the stage. I never plan anything like that. I love to joke around with fans but not like that. I mean, I kept on telling myself not to think about her but the more I tell that to myself the more I think about her.” he said honestly.

“Your set lists were all about breaking up. So fans were already talking about you going through a break up.” JunHo commented.

“JinYoung hyung was surprised too when I showed him my set list. He asked me if I was ready to sing those song and I said yes and to promote other artist too, but I didn’t really thought that I would cry.” he explained.

“You were emotional too singing JiHyun hyung’s “Love Me Again”. ChanSung added.

“WooYoung-ah it’s just a hypothetical question. What would you do if you suddenly see SeYoung-ssi?” MinJun asked when everyone suddenly turn silent.

“I don’t know hyung but honestly I really want to see her. I know she’s doing fine now but I just really wanna see her eyes again. I just wanna have a casual and not awkward greeting with her. It may be hard to take it that she’s with someone else now but I just wanna see her beautiful eyes again.” he said honestly.

The three men look at each other worriedly.

“Ah, let’s not talk about sad things. We’re going to a party we should set the mood right. Yah, ChanSung-ah will you play some music there. We’re going to party all night.” JunHo said changing the topic.

“Yah, I will not back down from you on drinking.” WooYoung said.

“I’m sure you gain a momentum with those partying every night.” MinJun commented.

“ChanSung was with me most of those nights.” WooYoung said.

“I was just looking after you.” ChanSung countered.

SeYoung arrived at the restaurant, it is exclusively close for JinWoon’s party and a lot of unfamiliar faces already busy coming in and out of it. She wanted to call JinWoon as he instructed but decided not to and just walk straight in. She looked around as she entered the door and easily spotted the celebrant in the bar with the familiar faces around him.

“JinWoon-ah!” she shouted walking closer to where he is.

“Ah nuna. I thought you’re not coming. I was about to call you again.” JinWoon greeted her with a big smile.

TaecYeon and NichKhun looked at each other puzzled.

“Oh SeYoung-ssi. I’m watching your drama, you’re a really great villain.” SeulOng praised her.

    “Komabseubnida.” she said bowing.

“Hi SeYoung-ssi.” TaecYeon and NichKhun greeted.

“Annyeong TaecYeon-ssi, NichKhun-ssi.” she greeted back. “Are you with ShinHye?” she asked TaecYeon.

“Aniyo. She has a photo shoot tonight.” he answered.

“Nuna, let’s sit over there. What do you want to drink?” JinWoon asked.

“Watermelon juice. I can’t drink any alcohol, I need to drive my way back later.” she said.

JinWoon took SeYoung on one of the vacant table on the corner where they can talk without so much noise.

“Isn’t WooYoung coming here?” TaecYeon asked NichKhun.

“Yes. He’s with MinJun and the youngests.” NichKhun answered. “I thought JinWoon lost contact with her.” he added.

“Yah, what are you two talking? Your faces are so serious. Did something happened?” SeulOng asked.

“Nothing.” NichKhun answered. “Let’s just drink.” he added lifting his glass for a toss.

A few minutes later, TaecYeon and NichKhun are already sitting on one of the table opposite where SeYoung, who is now with JoKwon and JinWoon are sitting.

“Yo!” MinJun greeted walking to where TaecYeon and NichKhun are sitting.

“Where’s JinWoon?” WooYoung asked looking around.

“Hey. How’s Japan? I heard your concerts were successful.” NichKhun asked trying to distract him from looking around.

“Why are you asking me? You were there too hyung. You even came to one of my concerts.” WooYoung answered.

“Is that so?” he said failed to distract him “I will go and find JinWoon.” he said and walked out.

“What is wrong with Khun hyung? He’s acting weird.” he noticed.

“He’s just probably tired. He just traveled to four countries in just a week.” MinJun answered. “Yah, ChanSung-ah will get us something to drink.” he said giving him a wink.

    “Neh hyung.” he politely obeyed.

“Hyung! I thought you’re not coming?” JinWoon shouted walking closer with JoKwon.

“Yah you brat. I just wanted to surprise you. I came back this afternoon and went straight here.” he said giving him a brotherly hug.

“Well, I am really surprised.” he said while looking all the other guys who are also looking at him.

“What?” WooYoung noticed the awkward air with their look. “You’re all acting weird. Is this a hidden camera? You’re not playing prank at me, don’t you?” he asked curiously.

“They are not.” JoKwon answered. “You know what? Why don’t you guys let it loose? You know what they say, whatever will be, will be. So, why don’t we just enjoy this night.” he suggested just in time for ChanSung to return with a bucket of beers.

“Where’s Khun hyung?” WooYoung asked when he didn’t see him returned with JinWoon.

“He’s talking to a girl. He will probably take some time to come back here.” JoKwon answered.

“Is that good or bad?” WooYoung asked.

“Let’s drink for our maknae, JinWoon.” Minjun said standing on his chair and lifts his glass for a toss. “Happy Birthday. May you live healthy and happy always. Cheers!” he added.

The guys keeps turning shift to accompany SeYoung on her table to prevent her and WooYoung form seeing each other.

“JinWoon-ah, SeYoung-ssi is looking for you. I think she needs to go.” SeulOng said popping his head between WooYoung and JunHo.

And after all that hours of walking back and forth from their table to her table and vice versa to prevent him from knowing she’s there, it just took SeulOng a second to ruin everything.

“SeYoung? Park SeYoung? She’s here?” WooYoung asked curiously while unconsciously looking for her in the crowd.

“Ah jeongmal hyung. Why are you torturing WooYoung-ah by saying her name.” JunHo said giving him an eye.

“Mianhe WooYoung-ah. I meant Kim CheYoung-ssi. It’s probably the alcohol that’s why my tongue got twisted.” he said getting the look that JunHo gave him.

“Excuse me for a while, I’ll just send them off.” JinWoon excused himself from the guys who suddenly became quiet while giving SeulOng all the look.

“I’m gonna go and check the other table before I get killed.” he said giving them a ‘whatever’ look.

“Yah, where are you going? I thought we’re going to drink all night?” JunHo said when WooYoung stood up from his chair.

“Ani. I don’t think I can drink more, I suddenly felt dizzy. I’m going to the men’s room.” he answered. “MinJun hyung and TaecYeon hyung doesn’t even drink.” he added.

“Yah! That’s because we need to drive you brats back to your homes.” he shouted to walking out WooYoung.

“JinWoon-ah, I need to go now. You know I have an early shoot tomorrow.” SeYoung said when JinWoon walked to her.

“I know. Gomawo for coming, I really appreciate it. Let’s go out and grab a bite some time.” He said giving his hand for a shake.

“Keure. You should call me.” SeYoung agreed.

“Definitely.” he said giving him a cute smile. “I will walk you to your car."

“You don’t need to. Just stay here with your guests. I’m fine.” she said giving him an ‘okay’ look. “We’re are the other guys? I’ll just say goodbye.” she asked.

“Ah it’s okay, I’ll just tell them that you needed to leave. They are all cramp in there, it’s too loud and chaotic with all of them.” JinWoon said lying.

“Okay. I’m going then. Don’t drink too much, and look after your hyungs.” she said before leaving.

JinWoon didn’t leave her sight until she saw her stopped by the ladies’ room.

“Oh my gawd! Mianhe-yo. Gwenchana-yo?” she said when he bumped to a guy while walking out of the ladies’ room.

“I’m okay. Are you okay?” the guy asked in return.

“Yes. I’m sorry.” she apologized again.

“Its fine. Just be extra careful next time.” the guy said before walking out.

“Hyung, can you pick me up here at SeulOng hyung’s restaurant in Itaewon?” WooYoung asked over the phone to their manager.

“I thought you’re driving with the guys? You didn’t drive your car?” Manager asked as he knew when he dropped him to his house that he will drive his car with Minjun to Itaewon.

“Ani. We used MinJun hyung’s car. The others are still drinking and I don’t wanna stop them.” he explained.

“Did you drink too? You can’t drive then. Are the rest of the guys drinking too? How are you all going to come back when all of you are drinking?” he asked now a little worried.

“MinJun hyung and TaecYeon hyung aren’t drinking because they need to drive back. I feel dizzy after drinking a two or three bottles, that’s why I already want to go.” he explained again.

“Okay. Go back inside first before someone sees you outside and photograph you. I will be there in an hour, I’m with my parents right now.” he said.

“Neh hyung. Gomawo.” WooYoung said and ended the call.

“Annyeong.” a woman who’s standing near him greeted.

The woman was standing near the car for a minute where WooYoung is leaning on the driver seat door looking on the ground while talking on the phone that he didn’t notice the woman walking.

“You’re leaning on my car.” the woman said to the frozen WooYoung.

“Oh mianhe.” he apologized suddenly jumping away from the car door. “Is this new?” he asked looking at the car.

“Ani. It’s manager oppa’s car. He lend it to me so that paparazzi wont follow me.” she said. walking to the driver seat door.

“So this is why they are all acting weird.” he murmured.

“I heard you talking on your phone. I’m going back, do you want a ride?” the woman kindly offered.

“I want to but will it be okay with you? I mean, are you okay with us together in your car?” WooYoung asked shyly.

“Yes. I don’t think there’s something wrong with that. Is there?” she asked when suddenly their eyes met.

“Do you want me to drive?” WooYoung asked after pulling away his sight from her eyes and look at the key on her hand.

“You drank so you can’t drive. I only had watermelon juice so I will be fine. It’s not a long drive anyway.” she said opening the driver seat door.

“You still love watermelon juice.” WooYoung murmured again and walked to the passenger seat door.

“Did you say something?” she asked not hearing him clearly.

“Neh. Thank you.” he shyly said.

“Kaja.” she said before driving the car.

“SeYoung-ah, your driving really improved a lot. You can even apply as a driving instructor now.” he praised and suddenly felt his heartbeats beating really fast just looking at her hands on the wheel.

The sight of her driving for him when they were still filming that show kept flashing on his memory and one by one the emotions that he tried hard to conceal are now over flowing, that’s why his heart is beating fast and his knees are starting to shake.

“Are you okay?” SeYoung asked turning to look at him.

“Neh. Just look on the road.” he said nervously. “SeYoung-ah.” he called.

“Uhm?” she answered her eyes focus on the road.

“Nothing. I just wanna call your name.” he said.

“Did you drank a lot? Are you drunk right now?” she asked.

“Ani. I just wanna say sorry…” he said in a serious tone but she interrupted him.

“WooYoung-ah, don’t. Let’s just leave whatever that you’re about to say in the past.” she said glancing at him.

“Do you wanna drink coffee? Let’s go have some coffee somewhere.” he suggested.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea. There might be photographers around here and that would be a lot of trouble if they see us.” she reasoned. “Where will I dropped you off?” she asked.

“I texted hyung and he’s going to pick me up on your building.” he answered. “So, I’m watching your drama online. How’s the shooting doing now?” he asked fixing his position on the seat to clearly facing her.

“Omo.” she said with a little laugh. “We’re almost done. I will resume filming later.” she answered.

“How are you and that guy?” he finally asked after gathering all his strength and fighting over if it’s okay to ask her.

“Nugu? Namja saram?” she asked puzzled.

“The guy that you have a secret relationship with?” he said pausing. “In the drama.” he added.

“Kwon Yul oppa? We are pretty close cause we have a lot of scenes together. He treats me well.” She answered innocently.

“Keure. It really shows on your scenes that you’re really close.” he said with jealousy.

“Wait, WooYoung-ah what are you thinking?” she asked hearing his jealous voice. Somehow SeYoung felt good hearing his usual jealous voice. “Is that why you sang that song and you even cried? You think that Kwon Yul oppa and I are in that kind of relationship?” she asked glancing at him who is now pouting.

“Keunyang. I read that you look good together and that you would make a really good couple. And some fans are starting to link you two together.” he said with his sad pouty look.

“Is that so?” she said reaching for the back of his head and unconsciously started to caress it. “We are not. Kwon Yul oppa is just really kind. I believe TaecYeon-ssi knows him too, you can ask him. I told you not to watch so you won’t feel sad.” she explained.

“Ah, that’s a relieve.” he said with his hand in his chest trying to calm himself. “Can you please stop caressing my hair? There’s so much thoughts coming in my mind.” he said looking at her.

“Ah mianhe.” she said pulling her hand away. “Why did you cut your hair like that? I like the old hair, the one with the bangs.” she said.

“Ah jinjja? Ah, I guess I made the wrong decision to cut it like this. Don’t worry my hair grows faster so I will have that style in no time and I’m going to stick with that until you get sick of it.” he said happily.

“Wae?” SeYoung asked WooYoung when she noticed that he suddenly become quiet.

“I just wanna take this moment and remember it for a long time. It feels like the old times when we drove around all night and go to the places that you really like and play the games that you wanted to try for the first time. It brings so much memories in me.” he said.

SeYoung stayed quiet. She herself feels the same way. They both forgotten that they already broke up months ago and this is the first time that they see each other personally after the parting but it seems like nothing change. No awkwardness, just the endless talking and joking around. WooYoung always jealous when he watched her dramas and showing her his aegyo when he wants something from her.

The silence continue until they reach SeYoung’s building. She drove straight to the parking lot. WooYoung look around first before they get out of the car.

“Are you sure you’re going to wait here? What if someone sees you here?” she asked worriedly.

“Then I’ll say hi and tell them that I got lost.” he said humoring. “Ah it’s really cold in here.” he said showing her the usual warm breath warming hands.

“I’d already seen that. Kaja, I will make you the coffee that you wanted to drink earlier. Just get down when oppa is here.” she offered.

WooYoung politely obeyed with the ‘I won’ grin on his face. “Can you make some green tea instead?” he requested.

    “Keure.” she agreed.

“Wow. You re-arrange everything.” he said upon coming in.

“Neh. I had a lot of time before the starting to film the drama. I asked eomma to help me organized everything.” she answered.

“Yah. You didn’t even leave a single memory of me. When I let my house stay the same. I didn't move a single thing in there even the chair from our old house that you made me carry to place in my bedroom.” he said disappointed.

SeYoung didn’t answer her and only look at him with a smile in her lips. ‘He still the same child-like WooYoung.’ he said to herself. “Seat wherever your comfortable with.”

“How’s Eommoni and Abeonim?” he asked while sitting on the big couch.

“They’re doing fine. Eomma is staying in Jeju-do with unni. I’m going to stay there for a while after the drama.” she answered. “Here. Drink this while it’s hot.” she said giving him the cup of green tea. “Did oppa message you already?” she asked sitting beside him on the couch.

WooYoung checked his phone. “Ani.” he said and put down his phone on the side table. “SeYoung-ah, lets play that game.” he suggested.

“What game?” she asked but WooYoung only look at her with the ‘are you kidding me’ look. “Ah! The rhyming game? But I haven’t play that for so long.” she protested.

“I haven’t play that game too, so we’re just even.” he countered.

“Let’s rhyme the things that we wants to say to each other right now.” he said giving the subject of the game.

    “Okay. You first.” she said.

“Uhm…” he started. “SeYoung-ah, uri yeobo; jeongmal bogosipeo; for giving me a ride gomawo.” he said.

“Omo.” she blurted out while laughing.

“Oh, that rhyme with mine too.” he said. “Okay, you’re next.”

“Chankaman. I don’t know what to say.” she said thinking hard.

“Yah, we always do this before, you even posted it on your SNS a lot of times.” he complained.

Uri WooYoung-ie; I’m glad that you’re doing fine; please be more healthy.” she said.

“Yah, those didn’t rhyme. Come here and I will flick your forehead as punishment.” he said excitedly while pulling her closer to him.

“Ah chankaman. They ended with ‘ie’.” she protested.

“Not acceptable.” he said aiming to flick her forehead.

    “Ah…” SeYoung scream.

“Yah, I haven’t done anything yet.” he said with his finger still aiming at her forehead. “Okay, I won’t flick you. Instead I’m gonna do something stupid. You can slap me, punch me or kick me out of here, but if you won’t do anything after. Ha, you’ll be dead.” he bargained.

“Mwo? What are you saying now WooYoung-ah..?” she asked puzzled.

WooYoung suddenly aim for her lips and gives her a kiss that made SeYoung freeze. She wants to push him away but her hands doesn’t obey her mind. ‘What is he doing? We already broke up. Why is my heart beating fast? Why are my hands shaking? Why does his lips are shaking? Did he really miss me this much? Did I miss him this much?’ These questions kept flowing on her mind until WooYoung let go.

WooYoung closes his eyes as soon he let go of the kiss, anticipating that she will slap him, but instead he felt her arm embracing him and heard her sobs. “SeYoung mianhe. I didn’t mean to surprise you like that.” he said hugging her tighter.

“I hate you.” she said in between her sobs.

“I know that, but what can I do? I couldn’t help myself because I still love you.” he said with all honesty.

    “Nado.” she answered.

“Mwo? Can you repeat that?” he asked in surprised. He holds her shoulder and look at her in the eyes before wiping them with his hand. “What did you just say?” he asked again.

    “Nado. Saranghe.” she said.

WooYoung leaned closer to kiss her again and this time SeYoung answered. They stayed like that for a couple of minutes until his phone rings.

“It’s hyung. Do you want me to stay here?” he asked her with his phone still ringing in his hand.

“No. You should go home and rest. I need to go later too for the filming.” she said.

“Hyung, I will be down in a minute.” he said over the phone before ending it.

SeYoung stood up to get something in her room. “Wear this scarf when you get down. It’s cold outside.” she said giving him a blue colored scarf.

“I want that one.” WooYoung pointed at the one hanging on the backrest of a chair. “I want the one that look like a bunch of newspaper clips.” he added.

SeYoung walked to get the scarf. “This one? But I already wore this earlier when I went to watch a play.” she said.

“I don’t care. In fact that would be much better because your scent is still there.” he said smiling. “Put it on me.”

    “Keure.” SeYoung agreed.

“SeYoung-ah, I just wanna make things clear between us.” he started to talk seriously.

“I know. Let’s do it right this time and with more patience and understanding to each other. It will not be perfect but let’s go through it together holding hands.” she said grabbing his hands.

WooYoung pulled her closer and hugs her. “Gomawo SeYoung-ah. Gomawo for giving me this chance. Gomawo for loving me again.” he whispered to her.

“I’ve always love you. Even though we have not seen and communicated for the past months, my love for you didn’t disappear it stayed in my heart and it will stay there for a long, long time.” she whispered back.

“I love you uri yeobo, uri SeYoung-ie.” he said with his emotions over flowing.

“Nado. I love you uri Jang WooYoung-ie.” she said back.
