  1. yes, from what you've explained above, @packmule3, indeed there is something that i thought "strange" at ep 1 after shin meets euntak. How he can holds the flower just right when euntak accidentally blow the candles. It is like fate indeed, but it can be like what you told too.. And whole conversations between shin and grandpa too like what you've explained hahaha.. I forget if you already explained about this or not, about why euntak suddenly can grab the sword. If we see the special ep, Samshin Haelmoni, told that it was because the love is not strong enough. So it is not about the kiss right? In ep 7 we can see their relationship develop more deeper. So i think it really is because of the true love? But when is the exact moment? The exact moment Euntak truly loves him? Because like we know, Shin already fall in love with her from the ending of ep 4.

  2. ahhh one more ost that i want is when Kim Shin wreck the ship!!! i reaallllyyy like that song too!

Btw, just asking because curious and not really believe in my own guess, why Euntak suddenly can pull out the sword? Is it really because of the kiss??? Is it because the handle different? But then why the first trial  pulling out the sword, the handle was not the bloody cloths handle?

    @sakurayukihime

Are you asking me which Episodes?

The identity of Sunny = In Episode 11.  ET wanted to know what was going on between Shin and her boss. She was getting suspicious of Shin’s constant presence at her workplace. So the butterfly god/DH told her that Sunny was Shin’s donsaeng Kim Sun in her previous life.

The diary of Shin = In Episode 8. ET wanted to the contents of Shin’s diary. Bribing him with a subway, she asked whether Shin had written about his first love. So the butterfly god/DH confirmed that it was a sad love-confession.  Annoyed and jealous, she grabbed the diary from him and declared that she didn’t want to know more details. Lol.

But if you’re asking me to explain further the lie about the identity, I’ll have to defer to a later time. :)

For now, all I can say is this: the gods/immortals lie. The butterfly god, the Lady in Red, Shin, and Reaper, and more importantly, the Lady Reaper. They don’t always speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”  Sometimes, they give half-truths, conceal, mislead, evade, deceive, deny, equivocate, - and what else?

Ahh!!! They also play dumb.  The truth for them is contingent or dependent upon the given situation, and their motivations

But I’m not saying that the gods lie with evil intentions. In many instances, they lie to protect somebody or to achieve a greater good. Take for example the Reaper in Episode 6.

ET asked him about the timing of their encounters. Why was it that they met each other when she was 9, then again when she was 19.  Was it coincidence?

Reaper’s response was to withhold information and to give an alternate, more pleasant excuse.  He said that a “good dream” led her to him.  Instead of outright telling ET that death came just when she was about to reach perfection (aha! so she was approaching perfection at 29!! More proof that our ET is an angel in the making, @nearsea and @staygold), Reaper opted evasion.  He probably wanted to avoid worrying ET with the inevitability of death for a “missing person.”

Now,  @sakurayukihime, the gods might lie, but there was one person in the story who didn't lie. That person was Sunny’s shaman. The shaman spoke the plain truth, and at the end, her predictions were all proven true. In Episode 2, when Sunny visited her for a consultation, the Shaman said these:

      Hide contents

But this was the relevant one.

      Hide contents

Do you see that? According to the shaman, Sunny didn’t have any blood relatives. From the start, the oracle was unambiguous: Sunny was an ORPHAN. She had no oraboni/Shin.

    *******************************

As for the number of times they had visited Quebec City together, I thought it was the fifth visit for them. (Lol)  But okay, I’ll go with fourth time. Episode 15 was the fourth time.  Don’t you just like how Shin deliberately tried to provoke her and make her jealous? And don’t you like it too when SHE was happy that his first love didn’t work out for him? Mean child!

I call this the “couple Schadenfreude moment” because both of them were enjoying that the other person was feeling miserable. Lol. (Schadenfreude is a good word to remember because it describes a very human emotion. It's that feeling you get when you're grinning or snickering at somebody, i.e., a bully,  your ex, a politician, who's failing.)

ET: It seems like you know your way around Quebec. Have you been here before?
Shin: Yes. I’ve been here with my first love. We’ve been here together four times now.  (This was his fourth consecutive visit with her but with Korean language as it is, I wonder if Shin used any pronouns.)
ET: Oh so you do have a girlfriend. (Looking glum and deflated)
    Shin: We’ve broken up though.
ET: Why did you break up? (Curiosity kills the cat.  I personally wouldn't have asked about his past relationship.)
Shin: Because I went somewhere far away for a very long time. I guess it was quite hard on her. She’s forgotten all about me now.
ET: You know what they say: you ever end up with your first love. (She was gleeful. She was rubbing it in.) It seems like you loved her quite a bit.
Shin: Yes, it seems that way.  Seeing as how it’s so hard to hold myself back.
ET: Hold yourself back from doing what???
Shin: Holding her hand, hugging her. Things like that. (Meaning, he was finding it hard to resist hugging her, right there and then, especially when she was acting all jealous. Awwww....)
ET: So the woman has forgotten all about you but you haven’t forgotten about her?! (She was annoyed at what a dolt he was to pine for an unrequited love.)
Shin: Yes. Not even for a single second, or a single moment.  (She was pouting now and kicking leaves. Like a little kid. But at least, she didn't kick him. I would have. Lol.)
ET: That woman must be happy.  (An ironic comment, because "THAT woman" was actually very UNHAPPY at that moment with all this talk of first love.  See that joke?)
Shin: Did you know that you and the person you’re walking with, will fall in love and be with each other forever if you catch a falling maple leaf?
ET: (scoff) I guess your first love told you that. (He was baiting her, and she fell for it. lol)
Shin: Yes, and we even caught a falling maple leaf, too.  (Again, he was deliberately making her jealous.)
ET: And you believed that?  (lol. She’s getting mad at HER own memory. lol.) You caught the leaf, and your love didn’t last! And now the person you’re walking with is me. Because that love didn’t last. And you’re interested in me!  Men always talk about their past loves with women they’re interested in. Like idiots. (She just had a major meltdown.)
Shin: Is that right?  (stupid question)
ET: Am I wrong?  (nice snappy comeback.)

I watch on Dramafever, but you must have a premium or some kind of membership because only the first two episodes are currently available to nonmembers.  The subs are general okay, but I'm happy with whatever I get. It must be a thankless job to be a subber so I appreciate the hard work involved in releasing the sub material at the earliest possible.  And if I don’t understand something in the dialogue, I either check dramabeans or another site (if I'm not too lazy).

As for GR's query, "how do find her before?" Shin answered that he kept on opening doors and searching for her until he found her.

      Hide contents

Which was romantic if you think about it.  It meant that the other time, in Episode 2, when he “accidentally” met her in front of her street and walked with her till her aunt fell asleep, he opened/closed the door countless times before finally finding her.

It also meant that the encounter wasn't “fated” or a lucky/chance meeting. In reality, Shin MADE their meeting possible by ACTIVELY searching for her.  Fate vs destiny. Passive vs active. Serendipity vs Intention, and so on.

As for Shin's comment: "Don't say it, i hate that phrase the most."  Shin told her to stop using the word STAB. But he didn't tell her exactly why he hated that word. Guigui guessed it correctly.

You see, ET was joking that she felt miserable and compared him to a recurring sickness, like a bad cold, that wouldn't go away. Every time she thought she was over him (or gotten over the “illness”), he would pop up again and make her feel sick and miserable once more.

ET blamed him for causing her unending misery but at the same time she reassured him that she "really" wasn't making him feel guilty.  Of course, Shin doubted THAT.  Then she answered, "Then I guess there IS some guilt stabbing your conscience then.”  Meaning, if he was already FEELING guilty when she was ONLY teasing him, then he MUST be guilty alright.

When Shin told her to stop using the word, ET giggled and told him that her choice was correct. “Ahhhh… I guess I was right to use the word “stab” then.” This meant that she knew exactly why he hated the word stab because she COULD very well SEE the sword.

I personally thought that ET was “testing” his reaction to the word “stab” to figure out if the SWORD was the “requirement” that the goblin’s bride HAD TO SEE.  Remember, up to this time, she hadn’t admitted to Shin that she could see the sword.

    Hope this helps you, @sakurayukihime.

yessss! i really like when Shin makes ET jealous! (moreover she jealous of herself hahahah)

woahhh thanks a lottt for the explanation @packmule3!!!! Now, it is very clear to me!! Hahahaha.. So it's because the word "stab" ... just like Grim Reaper said to not using the word "kill" hahahaha..

  5. @packmule3 may i know which eng sub u used? i think so far the subs that u always quote is good rather than my sub. So sometimes i don't understand the meaning of conversation. Like in episode 3 when Shin try to find euntak because she won't summoned him. I don't understand his answer when Grim ask him "how do you find her before?" And after that at the shore/sea under the umbrella, after Euntak said "my series of misfortune", i don't really get what they're talking about. Why Shin said "Don't say it, i hate that phrase the most"

You see, the butterfly god lied twice in the story. He lied about 1)  the contents of the Shin’s diary, and 2) the identity of Sunny

may i know @packmule3 what do you mean in point 2? in which episode?

I want to know by which time the exact time "the fourth" means when he said in episode 15 that he went to Canada with his first love fourth time?

1st time in episode  1 when euntak surprisingly followed him through the red door.

2nd time in episode 4 when he invited euntak to eat steak as repay of maple's laminating, and he realized she is his first love

3rd time in episode 5 when he and euntak came to the restaurant again and he saw 29 years old euntak

4th time??? is that in episode 15 when euntak try to find the memories of 9 years ago?

I can imagine KS being like "Honey, pick any dress. Today, the Goblin is not stingy, not for his bride"

No, the hotel scenes were filmed last week (on either Wednesday or Thursday) in Korea. That's why they're so comfortable with one another. The hotel room that we see ET in when she arrives to Canada was filmed way before (it's the Chateau Frontenac's deluxe suite) but that's why we see them then move to KS's hotel room in the evening.

ohhh i see... thx for your explanation @janeeta! So in Canada, they just have 1 kiss? in front of store that Euntak's blow the candle? (But the kissing here is well done to hahaha... way too amazing..)

And... i reallly hope we get to see uncut kissing scene or the kissing BTS!!

They shot all of the Canada scenes back when they were there in the fall. The ending, the mini visits, everything was well planned in advance which really amazed me.

The only thing that they didn't film in Quebec was the restaurant scenes which are actually in a French  restaurant in Korea.

The final scene shot for this show was on Friday and that was the wedding dinner scene.

i really curious about those hot kiss scene in a huge hotel room, the one that seems to be cut (because we see more in preview in ep 14. Is that hotel room in Canada? If yes, then those hot kiss was happened from the beginning?? woww.. GY and KGE chemistry just really wow..

I didn’t plan to write this because I think KES had explained everything very clearly in the final episodes. But every time I pop by this thread, I’d see soompiers expressing their disappointment and unhappiness with ShinTak's ending. So here are my thoughts, in hope that more people would come to appreciate the ending as I believe KES had intended.

There’s no point in comparing the two couples’ fates to see who got the longer end of the stick. Because they are individuals who have chosen to make different life choices and as a result, they all have to face their own fates. And as my friend @kentangbakar put it, deities are like parents who show their affection in different ways, but love their children all the same.

    The inevitable truck of doom

ET was supposed to be killed by a truck when she was 19. Later, the truck appeared again when she was 29. Even if she had chosen to avoid it, the proverbial truck of doom would come for her again when she turns 39, 49, 59, so on and so forth. There was no way she could escape her fate as a missing soul.

If she had been killed when she was 19, her life would have been futile. But at 29, ET accomplished everything she had set her mind on. She made KS pretty again, she realised her dream of becoming a radio PD, and she even married KS to officially become the goblin’s first and last bride. She lived a life without regrets.

ET: Now that I think about it, it was such a perfect day. When I woke up, I was in his arms. Then I made perfect eggs. The show today was perfect, too. Everything went perfectly to bring me to this moment. So that I won’t be late. I couldn’t be late, not even for a second. This was my fate.

ET: Every human dies at some point. That’s why life is even more beautiful. That’s why the first thought I had once I got my memory back was to live each day as if it were my last. If today is my last day, this will be my final memory of the person I love. So I’d better live hard and love. That’s what I told myself.

God creates miracles, humans make sacrifices

Instead of lamenting over how short her life had been, I believe ET considered all 29 years of her life as a blessing. After all, she was never meant to be born in the first place. Since she was saved by a miracle, it became extra meaningful that she sacrificed herself to pass on the gift of life to other children.

Lady 1: The car must have taken all the shock. My goodness.
Lady 2: She must’ve been an angel. I believe that she’s not an ordinary person. Had it not been for her, a lot more people would have died.

At this juncture, I don’t think the writer’s intention was to turn ET into an angel literally. Rather, the point is, we become just like angels and deities when we choose to make sacrifices for others. These sacrifices may come in various shapes and sizes - even in the form of a sandwich. For centuries, KS had given away thousands of sandwiches to strangers. But this was probably his first time receiving one from a stranger.

KS: Every life is touched by a deity at least once. Just when you’re drifting away from the world, if someone nudged you back in the right direction, that would be when the deity chose to visit you.

The children’s lives were changed because of a missing soul’s sacrifice. The shining guardian was encouraged by a sandwich from a jobless man. Round and round, what goes around, comes around. We sow what we reap - that’s the law of Karma, a fundamental concept in Buddhism.

    Every human has four lives

ET: Have you heard this? Humans have four lives: a life of planting seeds, a life of watering the seeds, a life of harvesting and a life of cherishing the harvests.

ET’s altruistic sacrifice was not pointless because according to Karmic laws, we will reap what we sow, somewhere and sometime in this life or in a future birth. Since it was her first life, by sacrificing herself to save the children, she was planting seeds of good karma, which she would eventually harvest and enjoy in the future.

ET: In our next life, I will make sure to be born with a long life and stay by your side for a long while. I will beg the divinity to let me do just that.

As we become emotionally invested in a drama, it’s understandable that we wish for the best ending possible for our favourite characters. But it would be unfortunate if we overlook these precious lessons on life in pursuit of a fairy-tale ending.

wow thx.. your writings makes me finally understand the scene when Goblin get the sandwich from strangers... ahahhahaha

CMON DIRECTOR YOU KNOW THE FANS WANT MORE :D:D
The extended better be in the director's cut hmph.
After watching the ending with subs, as many have said already, it actually made sense and it was logical 1f603.png:D it was a very bittersweet ending, but it does lean towards the sweet side.
    Why?

    I'll explain... it'll be a long post !

Something to put all y'all's minds at rest

    ET and KS are fated
they can finally enjoy life together with no restrictions. They can wholesomely love and spend time with one another without deities chasing after them and ET being a missing soul. They're bound together by fate. It was fate that they met again at Quebec. It was fate that ET/Park So Min went to that specific high school that had a school trip to Quebec. It was fate that KS decided to take a walk out in Quebec that day and sit at the cemetery. Everything they did led to that exact moment. And that'll happen in all of ET's future lives. Yes, she will have a different name each time, but with each new life, she will remember the memories of the previous. And that means that come her final life, she'll have quadruple the happy memories with KS ^-^ instead of them being both human and only loving each other once, the above has granted them the blessing of loving each other 4 times instead. Them meeting will always be fated, they'll always find one another.

ET will remember all her past lives every time

ET is truly special, and for those worrying that she won't be granted the opportunity to remember her life once she dies this time round, she will. Why? Because of her sacrifice of saving the kids. She's an angel (there's a reason why they included that clip of the lady saying she was an angel). She'll always be granted the ability to remember her past life (and the same face !) because that is her reward. There's a reason why she was made to die, not as a random occurrence, but as she wanted to save the kids. The above isn't all that cruel, if the 'above' was cruel, he wouldn't have allowed ET to remember KS after he 'died' in the first place. The 'above' wouldn't have allowed KS to be left in limbo and granted ET this blessing. The 'above' left the door ajar on purpose (the deities ship ET and KS, eh?).

KS won't be sad and lonely all the time
As for KS having to wait for his bride each time round... well it's a sad eternal love for a reason. It's sad because he's going to have to wait each time round, but hey, the loves eternal right? Yes he would be lonely, but he wouldn't be completely alone like the last 900 years. He has his memories of ET. His thoughts have become his companion. ET has impacted his life so much and she's going to stay with him, even if she's not physically there. That is why he wears her scarf, a reminder for him that she is always with him. Before he met ET, he had nothing to look forward to. He lived each day wishing for death. But now, he'll live each day with something to look forward to: either waiting for ET to be reincarnated or ET to walk through the front door of their house (after theyre married in all their future lives aha). Also, the fact that KS has to wait for ET would make their time together even more precious.

ET is will always be ET, regardless of her names
With the whole 'ET is not the same as the reincarnations', I've made a post about this already, but she is the same person, she has the memories of her past life. Having memories of your past life = being the same person because you remember all the decisions made previously, it won't be like 'oh my past self did this, so I must be like this too!' it's more like 'I did that, so must blah blah blah', ET would have also had these memories from the beginning, unlike Sunny who remembered her past life late into her current life, so her personality was diff to her current one. When 'Park So Min'/ET was behind KS in the future in Quebec, she answered the 'Is it sorrow or love?' question as 'sad love', not because she remembers saying that, but because she still thinks that that is the answer to that question, meaning same personality as before. If she simply said it as a memory, she wouldn't have said it so affirmatively. She feels the same emotions answering that question because she is the same person.

It's as if she fell into a deep sleep and woke up with another name, and when she wakes up, she'll resume her life. The only thing different is her name. I'll betcha KS would still call her ET even after all her names lol and plus, can you imagine all the future ET's bringing KS to meet all her 3 sets of parents in future lives lmao
'this is my mum and dad this time round' :glasses:

The fact that she would have new friends and family would only be another cute thing for her and KS to chat about   her life would change each time, but the thing that'll remain constant is KS. So don't fret about over the assumption that KS is just romancing with some random gal each time round with the same face and memories as ET, he's going to be with ET every single lifetime.

What happens after the 4 lives?

After the four lives are up (it doesn't sound like a long time but four lives is basically eternity, mind you) , KS and ET will pass on together. KS is goblin now not bc he has to, but because he asked to be. He chose to stay goblin to be with ET. He is not goblin as a punishment. Meaning, his punishment was over once the sword was pulled out, meaning, he can ask the 'above' for death whenever he wants because he became goblin with his own free will. Then, him and his bride will pass on together into happiness. It's sad but it actually isn't quite that sad :tongue:They had four wholesome lives together, thousands of memories, perhaps even centuries of happiness, and now they'll have the chance to be together for actual eternity in heaven. I'd like to think that KS can't stay on earth forever, like Grim weepers reapers, KS will move on once he is at peace with himself (bc he's found ET). WY moved on bc of this imo. That's the beauty of sad love. I sound so delulu, but this drama is just so dsnkjnandkjvn

Why not make them both human/immortal?

Making them both human could work, but they'd only have one lifetime together. If KS became human at the time ET was 29, he would have missed 9 years of her life already. Their ending would only come earlier. This would have been a good ending too, but it wouldn't be a consistent one. Why not make her immortal? She's basically immortal now   KES has made ET immortal in the most logical way possible. Although, I would have liked it if she actually became a deity like KS but hey :D

WHAT I'M REALLY MOURNING FOR: GR AND GOBLIN BROMANCE LIKE MAN, CAN'T THEY BE BEST BUDDIES IN ALL THEIR LIVES TOO. CAN'T THEY BE FATED TOO <_< but smth tells me, somehow, ET&KS, WY and Sunny's life will all somehow intertwine each time.

You see, it's an open ending, but not really, because there has been clues for the whole series that pointed to this ending and suggested what would happen after. That's why everyone is along the same lines of what happens after they reunite, because it's all been implicitly told to us already. It's an openly closed ending.

It's a been a wonderful drama!! I'll be back to see their BBQ pictures and two special eps!!

Now, I'll be back to stalking the GY and KGE thread because i ship them and hoping this ship will sail out of the arctic and into the open seas, they're too damn cute together.

That doesn't sound bad either. After all it's the journey that matters not the destination. So what's important at the end is their memories together may be. I think I can deal with this too. Hmm, sigh, this is a bittersweet ending after all. I hope @packmule3 writes a super-happy post  which would lift up my mood again, and I can move on with a non-heavy heart. :|

I got up from bed just to agree with you. I couldn't sleep, I was reading (more like skimming through actually) the forum from my phone because I am still feeling melancholic, couldn't sleep, still have tears streaming down my cheek, and it hurts so bad I think I finally understood how it feels to have sword stabbed on your chest for life. I don't like typing on my phone hence I got up and picked up my laptop just to agree with you. I have not watched the back to back episodes, but I have come to know how the story ends so I think that what matters (more like BOTHERS me a whole lot!) most right now. How could the ending be fair to Kim Shin? Why does our writer stay true to the title of the drama? Why makes my Kim Shin lonely after all the years he has suffered? Why does he need to live in fear of the heartache and not knowing when his bride will die again and again and again and again and be reincarnated again and again and again and again? He was a kind, responsible, brave warrior and yet he has to bear the punishment despite being backstabbed. Fine, killing people is a huge sin, but it is just not fair, man! Not fair. He deserves eternal happiness, with no time lapse at all, not having to wait for his bride to reincarnate or whatever. It makes me so sad knowing he has to experience heartache again after finally serving his punishment. I guess I am just talking trash right now because I am still frustrated and because this character is just fictional  I forgot whether have I ever feeling this bad or depressed when a drama ended or not but this feels too surreal, just too much for my heart and my brain to handle. I might need my sleeping pill now...

i totally agree with both of you.. i woke up in tears.. even when i'm write this i am in tears... actually the ending is for the viewers to choose it is happy or sad. For me it's both. First watching the ending i was soooo angry, sad, and empty. But after what it again, until third times.. then finally i can accepted.

Yes, there will be many pro and cons, because we can't satisfy all people. But again, it's up to the viewers to choose that.

Huft it will be hard to move on from this beautiful drama.. What should i do.. hahahhaa..

Shin then corrected her, saying, “No, we were a pair, even before you were born. The two of us, I mean.”

oh my God, somehow i think this is the post that i have ever waiting for... So far this is the one i like the best! Thx @packmule3!!!!! When i read half part of your post, i want to ask about that scene in ep 5 when ET ask KS name in the car, because i don't understand the subs. "Shin then corrected her, saying, “No, we were a pair, even before you were born. The two of us, I mean." (my sub not translate like that) , and you write it then in the end hahahahhaah.. No need to ask anymore..

How about you start make a script and make it into drama? i think i would really like it hahahhaa

Could be. But it didn't really make sense. What is he gonna do with the sword pulled out and a possessed EunTak? He definitely can't struck her with that sword.

I think that because he knows that sword is meant to kill that evil eunuch. So he knows, even euntak get possessed, the sword would not harm her. It is not real sword isn't it? it's like "ghost" sword, so it can't give any harm to human (read: euntak). That's why he waiting for euntak get possessed and pull out the sword and struck her possessed body with that sword, so that evil eunuch get out of her body and vanished.. But, thx God the grim reaper comes in time!! So the plan changed.. hahahaha..

I do not think GR will erase ET's memory, reason being he couldn't hear what Goblin said that time. The only reason he would do it would be out of compassion seeing how sad ET was. ET then would regain her memories when Kim Shin kissed her in the future.

Also, Chairman Yoo also seems to know more than a mortal, so his words may point to the return of Kim Shin in the future. Who knows, he might be another person the Nabi god spoke through.

yes... up until now, i wonder what those letter from chairman yu means. "When someone come with rain and blue fire and tell he is kim shin, give all for him"
it's like chairman yu reads a future ahead...

for what it's worth, this is my theory for the ending..

Kim Shin returns to the field in which the butterfly-god decided to make him a goblin. now he gets a chance to live as a mortal due to his retributions in the last 900 years. He returns to modern life, in which Secretary/CEO Kim and DeokHwa will greet him (there was a spoiler picture)

      Hide contents

The person in the tan coat could be CEO Kim, and the patterned suit could be DeokHwa. I know neither is the Grim Reaper lol

As for EunTak, I think she will nearly die of a heart attack (more like heartbreak) as suggested by GR's death card, but GR gets her help in time. He wants to erase her memories to soothe her heartbreak as promised to Kim Shin. She pleads him not to, but he does so anyway, cuz lol that's what he does (like did Sunny ask for her memories to be erased??).

I can't really envision an ending in which both will keep their memory, I imagine it's possible for KS to do so, but EunTak will lose it (confirmed by the Canada restaurant flashforward in the earlier episodes). If he keeps his memories, then he lets her live as a normal 20 something without interfering in her life, which he can't really do without his powers, no summoning and teleportation and all.. Of course, fate brings them together when she's 29, and they fall in love again.

    OR

KS will lose his memory as well. I think this will still bring the ending, of them meeting together when he's 37, she's 29, as renewed individuals.

I think the whole memory loss or no memory loss is just dependent on the viewer, whether it is good/bad they carry the baggage of their memories with them.

Oh and I think there will be a hopeful ending for Sunny and GR, it's a little bit too packaged nice and neat for them to be a couple married with children by the end, but I think it'd be cool for them to possibly meet again on that pedestrian bridge under different circumstances (no ring, no fated deaths, no fated anything).

I'm one of those people that don't mind sad endings as long as they're appropriate and makes sense, don't think we will get a sad ending BUT We shall see what happens

well, i agree with ur theory.. That was exactly i thought, about GR erase euntak's memories...

can't wait for friday to come, but don't want it come too fast because that marks the end of this amazing dramas.. such a confusion....
