MLSHR Episode 8 Review Part II
The sleeping beauty and Soo for the wake up? If I was her I would not leave his arms…

I found very interesting this conversation for several reasons: the obvious one, we get to see once again JG raw acting… So is hurt, angry, insecure… maybe the scar is just a measly thing in others eyes but for him is the cause he lived the worst of lives until this moment. We also get to see that Jimong is all about Moo. And he knows how to manipulate people (even if it is for their own good) Nevertheless it works because So overcomes it!

I remember the first time I was watching episode 8 I was so excited about the ending… the best of cliffhangers… of course I never dreamt Soo would become a nervous wreck and would hurt So so much… the good versus evil face of So, the resurfacing scar, the music, the colors… all chilled me to the bone… at the time I wasn´t coming to soompi to talk about the drama… I always checked dramabeans (I think I changed dramabeans for soompi after episode 9… I couldn´t stand the amount of hate there after the so called forced kiss). Anyway while searching for some images I found the impressions I left after watching episode 8 international version... so funny:

MLSHR Episode 8 Review Part 1
Another favorite episode, with so many swoonworthy So scenes, another long post...
But before I start, let me say this time is not all about So, there are things not So related that I really like/enjoy:
1.- The Music
2.- Court Lady Oh defending Soo, she outsmarted Evil Queen and to me that’s a win. The scene when she finally opens to Soo was great; the scene when she eats porridge was sweet. I really love CLO.

2.- BA punishing Soo so for not being able to appease So. Another character I really love
Spoiler3.- SD when she wonders if Eun wanted to eat the little sparrow alive? Her subsequent interaction with her father is so endearing.
4.- Eun winning before Jimong because he’s afraid to be selected for the Rain Ritual

Now for Wang So… finally.
It starts with So’s breathtaking beautiful bare face (I love the scar, it’s the most beautiful scar I’ve ever seen. Btw did you remember that JG’s face in Fly Daddy Fly is also scarred? Scars look good on him for sure)

They cuddle.
I wanted to puke while watching this scene... btw how many years/months have passed.. because Soo is not only able to read the snake note but also she said to CLO that she read all the books... or she is such a fast learner?

MLSHR Episode 6 Review:
This was the episode of the first introductions and new beginnings…
1. Two versions for every episode

6. Wook trying to cover Soo’s scar
7. Soo’s visions

My fave from above: number 4, So & BA bromance… It was so strong and sincere… that’s why I hurt the most when BA left So (or I must say GJ?)
This episode is also the first one where the only scenes I liked/loved were the ones that involved So. Sorry Eun but your puppet show annoyed me so much that I still don´t like it! (Ok, maybe it wasn´t Eun’s fault. Maybe it was that my subs didn´t match the episode and I was crazy because of it.- I didn´t know there were two versions… my Raw being SBS and my subs International version, lol). This review and the rest will be about the SBS version.
I almost forgot: this episode has a lot of good and meaningful quotations… some we will see again in other episodes. This one I can´t not post:
Soo: I don't regret it. I protected what I wanted. I should pay for it.

The vision of So all in white… looking so ethereal and beautiful while worrying over Soo. Is a pleasure to see Wang So falling in love…

but as we are in JG thread it's a good thing that they are Wang So centric.. episode 7 and 8 are Wang So centric anyway (and maybe that's why i love them so much). Nevertheless i know i didn´t write much for my epi 7 review (and i'm afraid it would be the same for epi 8) The truth is tomorrow will be a week since i'm sick.

First of all i must say i like IU since i saw her in Dream High... i think she's adorable. And i know we are supposed to think that So was mistaken the look in Soo eyes for pity, wich he doesn´t want from the girl he now loves. I can get that Soo was supposed to show worry, surprise, support... it's just that to me Soo's eyes (or must i said IU's eyes) were expressionless in that particular scene... i don´t see worry, surprise or support... i don´t see anything at all... she kinda spoiled the scene for me... Thankfully i can always focus in So.

@pixelsticks About Soo saving both So and Seol… let me disagree once again… I’m the kind who always think is better to say “let’s stick together and fight to be happy together” than “let’s suffer apart for a greater good, blah, blah”. Remember in the end Soo acknowledges it herself, that the opposite to love is not to hate but to leave… and in the museum she was sorry because she left So alone (too late for her, for So and for us…)
Suwon gardens were like 5 minutes walking from the subway station… and it is surrounded by high buildings that kind of spoiled some pictures!!

About LJG next drama… uhmmmmmm. Taking apart MLSHR my two fave JG dramas are Two Weeks and TBDW. But as I think he was made for sageuks I would like his next drama to be a sageuk. Maybe something like a fantasy drama, ever since I watched eternal love I dream of him playing a god! The possibilities… Of course I will be happy with anything he chooses… the only thing I ask is that his next drama won´t be a remake, pretty please! MLSHR Episode 5 Review
How to start with this... i have mixed feelings about this episode. I still remember the first time i watched it like it was yesterday... after a very long wait (the longest 24 hours ever. lol) i played the episode expecting to have my So fix... only for him to appear like 5 minutes in the whole episode!!! i was crazy mad (throwing things, kicking in the air, hitting my head, cursing PDnim). Seriously... i was really angry and dissapointed at the episode. You have to know that at that time i wasn´t really onto the drama, but i was already in love with So. He was everything for me... and then some more. But everything has a bright side... as i didn´t have my So fix, and i needed to see JG so badly, i finally decide to start watching Two Weeks... and of course i fall in love with JG again... really heard. To this day Two Weeks is my second fave JG's drama (of course you must know wich one is the first fave
)
Despite the lack of So, there are things i love/like about the episode... the most beloved being this:

She was so sweet and caring... she deserved better than Wook and Soo. But in the end she got what she decided to have. I think she had no regrets and i rescpect her for it!

Now this scene must be my favorite from the episode. i don´t know how many times i replayed the scene... now i feel like crying again...
I have to say it... I LOVE THAT PLACE!!! it's pure magic. I was there and i could see So and Soo bickering and playing around... my pictures there were all a mess because i cried the whole time. right now i'm crying because the feeling is still so real.
About the scene... So was so happy to see Soo, he was so happy because Soo was seeing him looking like a true gentleman. He was like a proud little boy... and Soo was her natural and expanded self. They were so confortable together... How sad that evil Queen interrupted them.. i wish Soo would stay a little longer though

have to say i kind of agree a little with @leza there... when she was talking about Soo...
But maybe if I could rewrite Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, I would have changed Su from the beginning to be a bit more scheming, loyal to the man she loved, and less easily influenced by her visions of the future. (Those darned visions!) No doubt that Su was warm and loyal and caring...

I have to admit that i had 2 JG junkie moments. A long long time ago i watched My Girl and was like: this guy is too pretty and feminine for my tastes. Weird enough, after some time passed i saw a youtube video of King and The Clown. and that was it. I was crazy over GG, i was obssesed.. i couldn´t sleep at night just thinking of him... when i finally found a link to watch it with spanish subs (at my early kdrama times i did´t watch with english subs) it was worse... GG´s beauty, gentleness, delicacy, love... won my heart. I had to watch all his dramas, so i watched TBDW and luckily they aired Arang and i could watch (i didn´t watch Iljimae because i was stupid enough to follow dramabeans opinions). Well other kactors came and my junkieness cool down. Still i watched and loved Joseon Gunman so much and i put Two weeks in my "to watch list" (i didn´t knew about Hero and dramabeans said SHWTN was bad so i didn´t watch). So i guess my first junkie moment was over... But then i read news about MLSHR it was JG and it also was KHN (my fave from misaeng) so i decided to watch... but then came all the idols and i was unsure. First episode came and i actually forgot about it, but my sister called me and ask me if i had watched.. so i decided to give it a try next day... after swallowing the first 3 episodes i was officialy obssesed and my junkieness was far worse than my first or than any of my other favorites actors... the rest is history as you may know...
