I can see in that 2nd concert that SP has the best 4 scenes. So the first and second concert they feature the best 4 scenes of SP?? Do his other drama has a best 4 scenes?? Or SP only.

That was also my take on that question ever since the first fancams came out and were translated/subbed by fans. It's not necessary the correct interpretation, but we will never know. We can only guess what he meant with his question, and also in light of Wookie's Japanese interviews where he explained that he and Hyunie talked a lot for all their couple scenes to make them more realistic and effective, it made perfect sense to me. But maybe others are right and he was kind of hinting something to his fans or fishing for a "real" confirmation from them, or testing the waters, or maybe something else we have not thought about.
Regardless, I fully agree that his expression right before that is indeed priceless and the most remarkable part about this vid. And the zoom in and slow motion by @jiji_addict on IG only makes it better
As to his mother, we don't know if she was in the backstage or sitting with the audience or where, and how much she could see of his son's expressions. But I don't think she needed to see those during the concert to read him
Besides I guess she had a lot of reasons to be emotional about the concert organized to celebrate his son's 10 years' career and to say goodbye before the enlistment, and that was probably the feeling that prevailed in her at the time. I don't know her at all, though, so I might be completely wrong!
On the other hand, sorry but I don't think that they choose to include in the DVD mostly clips from the 2nd concert to leave out the "yeppo" part or the deep breath or anything. If they had equally mixed clips from the first and the second concert leaving out those parts, one might wonder, but if most clips are from the 7 pm concert, for me it means they realized they had better footage for this concert, or probably it was their decision from the start to focus on the second concert. Just my opinion, of course.
Anyway, for the SP related parts of the first concert, luckily we have fancams that captured pretty well Wookie and his expression, so we have been able to spazz even without the official DVD clips
Finally, the "best 4 scenes" were actually the best 4 romantic lines were only for SP and were featured in both concerts. There was a discussion about them (mostly about the polling system
) around page 1225-1227 in this thread, but if you have any further remark from your observation please share... looking forward to it!

Hope everyone is doing great. Sorry for disappearing suddenly, but it's been a super busy week.
Still, at least I've managed to leave comments supporting Sutner and Jibong on SBS Catch YT channel and Naver (even though I have not been able to watch the video yet, despite trying to use a VPN tool as it was kindly suggested... but maybe it's not a bad thing as it spared me some anger, judging from your comments
) while upvoting the other comments, and I've been voting for the best korean drama every day from as many devices as possible: even from my parent's pc and my mom's tablet every time I visit them and from my pc at work, hoping that the company is not really tracking navigation data, otherwise I'll have some explaining to do The things we do for NamJi...Anyway, at last I've managed to catch up also with this thread and I hope you don't mind if I bring up again old stuff that I could not comment eaarlier.

) That was definitely something we've seen in abundance in all the bts footage released for SP, right?
But the fact that you specifically posted this moment to highlight the cheerfulness/happiness reminded me of something else you posted a month ago on your IG. Here:
Maybe it would be more evident seeing the video, not just the still pictures, but the big difference between the 2 situations (JCW+CTJ and JCW+NJH) for me is that when JCW and CTJ were requested by the photographers to strike that pose during the presscon it was clear for everyone that it was for fun, a comical take on teaser's dance move taking advantage of their bromance, and the complied. Being buddies in real life as well they could do it very easily and smoothly, and obviously they were smiling in the picture because the situation was funny in itself, it was not meant to be taken seriously.
JCW+NJH, on the other hand, were damn serious in trying to reenact the dance steps and get into that pose. They really took the request seriously and did their best (while being adorably clumsy about it). Still, it is obvious looking at them that they were enjoying every second of it and having fun doing it together. This is something that we've so often seen from them in the BTS and what makes me love and believe in NamJi.

For me it's not even about his asking repeatedly if the scene looks real. Because that could still be explained away saying that he was just asking his fans if they had managed to create a realistic scene/situation there (and the boy had every right to do so, considering how much he was teased during the rehearsal for that scene
, besides it is possible that there were different opinions on the set on how to act out that scene so he could have been curious because of that) But , yes, as many of you pointed out, his expression in that video is pure gold. And it's even clearer with the slow-mo. One more thing, though. After that part, he starts to explain something ("During the drama, I was..." - as per the official subs) and stops mid-sentence when fans start screaming because the first kiss scene appears on screen. He probably simply got sidetracked because he was listening to fans' commenting "andwaeyo" to the kiss (many jealous my-oppa fans, I guess?
Wonder if they commented the same about the other kiss scenes... From the fancams I've seen, the kiss scenes from his previous drama were also received with louder screams but I can't really hear if they were cheers or screams of the "andwae"-kind) but it looks a little bit like he also got distracted by the kiss itself when he turned towards the screen to see the reason for that commotion. Just a couple of seconds, but...
I've said it before, and it looks like I'll keep saying it with every new piece that is added to the puzzle: our boy made my shipper heart very, very happy during his Jiscovery concert.

You have probably already verified this, but just in case.... the video above, where Wookie is wearing the black ripped jeans, white T-shirt and dark blazer is in fact from the second (7 pm) concert. The other videos (fancams, etc.) where he is wearing the light blue shirt are from the first (2 pm) concert. There, he does not comment with the fans while the sofa scene is playing on the big screen but just watches on and let the "yeppo" slip out

I don't know why, but I was convinced that the estimated release date was April 2018... maybe I had read somewhere, during the pre-order period, that since the PD had a previous commitment for another project the Dcut was expected to be released next Spring, but the thought that we might received it in February put me in a very good mood On the other hand, this means that after the excitement of getting the DVD and hopefully several new BTS to watch, dissect and talk about, we will still have more than one year to wait for Wookie to come back. I've said it before, and never get tired of repeating it (and hopefully you all won't mind reading it again and again from me
) but even more than NamJi's hot kisses, the main reason why I ship these two is their obvious and overflowing happiness when they are together.
It's so clear right from the photoshoot, even if they were not even close by then and of course in part they were also "acting" and being cheerful for the camera (but as you said, especially Wookie's happy expressions and eye-smiles were genuine and went far beyond acting). And it continued through the presscon and every BTS we've seen. It can't be stopped, and it can't be hidden. And in fact they have not even tried to hid it, on the contrary they (again, especially JCW) kept mentioning how much fun they had on set, how happy they were filming SP, etc. And how can you not fall in love with that happiness? It's even contagious...Yes, contagious: that's probably why we are all still down with (or rather up... high, very high) the NamJi bug.
Ouch... I've just realized it's already 1 a.m. and I have to wake up at 6, but I also wanted to add my 2 cents on the first kiss because I so, so agree with many things you've written... ottokke? If

About the thigh touching, NJH did it even in the poster shooting so quite early on so I guess maybe she’s just touchy by nature and she felt comfortable enough with him to do so.

That gave me a good laugh, because it is indeed true. They were indeed sitting much closer and touchy touchy during the rehearsal compared to the final chagiya scene that was aired And this always remind me of a comment someone left about a month ago for the "Ji Chang Wook & Nam Ji Hyun - Skinship Compilation" fanvid by Ploy Jularat (I love her videos, btw):
The comment I am referring to says: "The actors had more skinship in 7 minutes than the characters in all the 40 episodes (except for episode 28
" (if you order the comments by most recent, you should be able to find it easily, as it was posted about 1 month ago) and it never fails to make me smile. Now, logically speaking of course this reasoning is flawed, because this is a video that compiles specifically the skinship moments, so it's a given that it has the most skinship. On the other hand, considering that the video is made with bits taken from just a couple of hours of footage in total (bts, presscon, etc) and above all that a lot of that skinship was completely spontaneous and NOT required by the scene they were going to shoot, I'd say the commenter still has a good point.
This said, please don't hate me for the following.

I know how you feel... the first time that gif graced our thread months ago (or at least the first time I noticed it, in a post by @lovethatlook - I still remember this, and that should tell you what kind of impact it had on me) my jaw dropped and I replayed it - zooming in, of course - so many times and I was afraid I was starting to see things , but other chingus here confirmed, and reassured me, so I've been happily replaying it since then. And what I find remarkable is that if I am not mistaken his statement comes from an interview done on the same day of the photoshoot for SP (translated here: https://jichangwookkitchen.com/2017/04/14/drama-ji-chang-wooks-qa-interview-for-suspicious-partner-revealed/#more-23787 - credit to Ji Chang Wook's Kitchen), so early on. In a way, it's understandable that that he was monitoring his fans' initial reaction to the casting and their expectations, and of course he had to encourage them to see the chemistry, but the fact that he choose to mention specifically this point to me sounds like he was genuinely happy that people noticed the similarity between them and at the same time wanted more people to see them that way... Maybe I can't explain this properly, but kind of fishing for feedback on that point (as you would do in the initial stages of liking someone, and go around asking your friends "don't you think we look compatible", etc.)

Did I just miss it??? The only "I like you" I saw in her post was the title of the song and obviously it's still there.
I went back to check and also if you look at this fan made juxtaposition there was no "I like you" even in the earlier version of her post (just the shy monkeys, "healing time", and the thumbs up emoji)

I've been wondering too, cause I've also seen different dates mentioned. But then I noticed something on the video that was shared here earlier:
This one is from the Official JYP Entertainment youtube channel, and it looks like the video was uploaded on Dec 5th. Furthermore, if you see the superimposed writing that appears bottom left at the very beginning, it says SBS MTV 2017.12.04 So... maybe the song was really made available for digital purchase on the 6th but the MV was released earlier, hence the confusion with the dates?
If this is the case, it's interesting because it means that Hyunie (unless she was too busy with... whatever, or whoever, kept her away from IG for days
) could have listened to the song before and therefore could have had some more time to even plan her very timely post . #delulubutnotimpossible

But if one account can leave multiple comments voting for different kisses, and these votes are valid, I am so gonna spam SBS Catch voting for every single kiss in SP

So... I was out all afternoon because I had some stuff to do, and since the internet connection was not great I had promised myself that I would not check this thread every hour or so
As I reached home - and my Wifi - this evening, I opened IG first, and the first thing I saw was obviously Hyunie's update. My lips started to curve upwards. Think about the comments that must be flooding the shipper thread by now Then I began to take in the content of her post. Song, Day6, her favorite band. Ok. Saw the album title, Moonrise. One more coincidence! Finally my mind processed the title of the song she had posted. That made my jaw literally drop. I like you. Seriously??? And I knew that this would be on fire. LOL. I was really looking forward to reading everyone 's comments here.
Still, I decided to wait a bit before coming here, despite knowing that I would be late for the party. But my rational brain was fighting its endless war with my screaming shipper heart and I wanted the battle to be a fair one.
So, I told myself: stay calm, don't overreact, stay rational, try to look at the situation from a different and neutral point of view, try to think about it as if you weren't shipping them...
So, I ended up with something like this:
(SHIPPER SELF): She was almost completely MIA (aside for liking some ig post) while he was out, and now that he is back to the army she appears again!
(RATIONAL SELF): Maybe she was simply busy studying due to her upcoming finals.
But when she was studying before her mid-term exams she did update her IG, and she updated now!
She updated now because the song has just been released and she wanted to support her favorite band.
Verdict: not sure. However, considering the previous pattern (MIA before Wookie's enlistment, etc.) it could be considered suspicious.
Day6 - 6 days of Wookie's vacation (and/or some kind of anniversary / meaningful date)
That's the name of the band! It's not as if she can ask them to change it to avoid feeding rumors!! Besides, for their "Every Day6 Project" , this year the band has been releasing new songs on this day (the 6th, obviously) every month.
But she choose to post a Day6 song, and not some other music or just post a selca, or any other picture.
It's because the song is new and she waned to show her support. They are her favorite band, that's a well known fact, and it's not the first time she posts their song on her IG***. It's not random!
Verdict: nice coincidence, but not suspicious

In the end, even trying the rational approach, I still end up here, and quite happy about what we got yesterday
Even if I am a bit scared to read too much into it, no matter how you look at Hyunie's update, it's really difficult to say that it was not intentional.
She is smart. She knows that she is being watched by her fans and in particular by us shippers. Even if you were to assume the most anti-shipper scenario and say that they are not even in contact after he enlisted, there is no way she did not know about his vacation (if only because she follows him on IG, she should have seen his posts, or at least the latest one). So, choosing to update today, a few hours after him and with a song with a very suspicious title, was not the way to go if she wanted to avoid arising more rumors. If she had wanted to simply support Day6, she could have posted something else before (or even better, during the past few days) and then the song. Or at least she could have posted their song first thing in the morning, as soon as it was out...
In my attempt to rationalize, I've even wondered if maybe she is just trolling the shippers, showing that she can post whatever she wants and whenever she wants, regardless of what people will end up thinking. But no, I don't think this is the case. That would not be the Hyunie we know. She loves and respects her fans, and she is straightforward. She could have sunk the ship a long time ago, to avoid being harassed by shippers. If she had clearly said "no, there is nothing" I am sure none of us would be here now. Probably a few obstinate and delusional shippers would still exist, but the vast majority would be gone and she would not be under constant scrutiny.
So, even if I might not accept as irrefutable evidence every single "coincidence" or "connection" that I have seen pointed out in IG, Twitter or here, in the end I have to agree with what many of you already said: now, just as when she posted her video wearing the necklace and blowing kisses without tagging any sponsor and later saying simply that the necklace was a gift from someone who was left unnamed, she knows very well what she is doing. And I am very happy and satisfied with this.

In fact, I had not subscribed to their channel previously, and only did it yesterday to be able to vote for our NamJi's kiss LOL. Anyway, I guess it's fair and harmless: you don't have to pay anything nor provide personal information to subscribe to their youtube channel, whereas I think you have to provide your ID card and info to get an SBS account to vote for the best couple and/or popularity award (or any award that is given based on fans' voting) for the official end of the year awards (not sure if it works like that now, because I did it just once, several years ago ). Come to think of it, I wonder if my SBS account is still valid if we have the chance to vote for the best couple on their website this year. I hope I won't have to create a new one, since it was a bit of a hassle But for NamJi I'll do it if necessary| Anyway, with SBS catch you can always unsubscribe next January if you want... And now...

Agree! As a matter of fact, I've already cast my vote and choose the "laundry basket kiss" (as kindly translated for us by @riririru) because it looked like the previous comments for SP leaned towards this kiss. Everyone is free to choose whatever kiss they prefer, of course, but if SBS Catch is actually going to count the votes given to each kiss as a strategy it would be better to vote all for the same kiss to maximise the chances of victory. What do you think?

You!!! Because of you and your hot gifs I had to go and re-watch all the drama kiss scenes and their bts at least 3x per clip, randomly pausing to take a better look, zooming in, slowing down, etc. Are you ready to take responsibility for this???
'Cause yes, that created a lot of natural heat, but my bills probably won't benefit from this because the electricity was used instead to power my pc!
Anyway, since I was on YT, I did a little homework and started searching for more fancams of the Jiscovery concert as mentioned by Babyboomer.

Not much so far, but to begin with... this fan shared the footage she took of both concerts (2 pm and 7 pm).In fact, the fancam of the first concert is taken from an angle that allows to see of Wookie's expression when he was facing the screen, even if not as well as in the first fancam I had shared a couple of pages back. (of course I don't intend this as "criticism": this girl took the trouble to record and upload both concerts from start to finish, and deserves all the credit and gratitude for that) For the second concert she was in a different seat, in front of the stage, so we can see pretty well Wookie when he is facing the audience (and in this fancam we can often see what is being showed on the screen, which is helpful for us international fans with little or no understanding of Korean), but not when he is turned towards the screen. In the first video (2 pm concert) the drama section starts around 35:45 (till the end). In the second video (7 pm concert) the drama section is from around 36:42 till the end. You can try and see for yourself.To be honest, I could not see much. I only noticed that in the first concert (but not in the second - I need to say that to be fair and objective) the SP part is when he looked reluctant to tear his eyes away from the screen while the various scenes were playing:

I might be again the "slow" one, but I don't remember seeing this discussed on the thread (even if probably it was mentioned in passing and I just missed it). So, even if it is nothing important... We all know, of course, that both Wookie and Hyunie took part to the drama Warrior Baek Dong Soo, but they did not work together at that time because she played the young version of the female character while he was the adult male lead. What personally I had not realized till now is that for that drama JCW took also part to the OST, singing a song titled... 다시 만나면 i.e. Meet Again (but the literal translation is "when/if we meet again" if my understanding is correct?).

Yes, let's talk about kiss scenes. But SP kiss scenes. I'll never get tired of those.
I think here I have mostly commented on the first kiss, so let me talk about the 3rd kiss this time.
There's so much I could write about it, but since we've already dissected it and commented in any possible way, I'll keep this short.
For reference:
(bts version, but it's basically the same thing we see in the drama scene only from a different angle)
Well, aside from the general hotness of this kiss itself - an open mouthed kiss, with Wookie devouring Hyunie and and our baby girl responding just as passionately - I have to say that what awes me every single time is NJH's hands.
Although not so common, I think we have all seen other passionate kisses in Kdramas, right? Well done kisses where it's not just about camera angles and editing, and/or the guy doing all the work while the girl just stands there. Such kisses do exist, even in k-dramaland. Yet, where some (not all) of those kisses still fail to be completely convincing - in my opinion, of course - is that the actors' mouths are kissing, but not their full bodies.
That's why I l-o-v-e that Hyunie's hands in this third kiss - just as in the court kiss - are not idle. Not for a second. They are roaming, exploring, caressing... taking part to the kiss. Whether it's acting or something that she did instinctively (I am not even talking about that at this point), I find it awesome and so beautiful to watch.
The fact that as soon as she puts down the laundry basket and she manouvers her arms around his neck, her right hand pushes him even closer to her upper body and they are literally plastered against each other is hot beyond words for me.
And of course the fact that Wookie's is reclutant to let go of her, even if only to allow her to move her arms around him makes it even hotter... Yes, it's a move they had practiced, but if you ask me it looks better (i.e. prettier for the camera) during the rehearsal because they were not kissing, there was some space between them and he was not holding her neck so firmly, so that movement looks more fluid:
Compared to this, it looks less smooth during the actual kiss scene. But oh-so-realistic (or so real, if you prefer
).
So I am not complaining about what we got in the drama, not at all

Well, I must be the weird one here, because I hope in the future they'll have other passionate kiss scenes with other actors... and that we will still be able to see the difference between those kisses and SP kisses
That's how much I trust our OTP. Of course, should they choose to have more restrained kiss scenes, it's ok as well. But I think I can bear to watch them kiss other drama partners anyway. Just as I don't have a problem watching actors who are married or in a relationship have some steamy kisses in their dramas (thinking for example about Ji Sung, Jo Jung Suk, etc.)
If they think that having such kiss scenes is important for them as actors, to be able to portray their character better, etc. I want them to feel completely free to do so. They should not be judged for doing their job, and doing their job well.

BTW, and this will be really my last word on the subject. We have all agreed that the kiss scenes in SP are hotter, for instance, that the kiss scenes in JCW's previous dramas. Fine. Let's not forget however that these kiss scenes we have been blessed with were made by TWO people. Wookie might have lead those scene because obviously he was more expert, but the kisses wouldn't have been this good if Hyunie had not responded to them they way she did. Or if a different actress, a dead-fish kisser, had been in her place. Wookie gave Hyunie credit for the beautiful outcome of the romantic and kiss scenes, and so should we. So, if they don't end up together... should she be judged by her future boyfriend (and worse, also by his fans, if she dates another entertainer) because she kissed Ji Chang Wook like that ??? because following this kind of reasoning, this is what should happen too. It makes no sense at all. So, whoever wants to be protective of Angel Hyunie, please let go of this absurd mindset. Think that, going by this screwed logic, if performing a good kiss scene in a drama/movie makes you a bad person (or at least a bad romantic partner) because of her acting in an adult romance like SP, NJH is also bound to be considered a bad choice for her future boyfried and get hate and criticism for this... Is that really what you want?
And now I am off for a day of an afternoon of intensive Christmas shopping

Chingus, I've had an epiphany.
The epiphany is that this ahjumma here is dumb. As in really and completely dumb.
I was aware of Hyunie's post drama interviews, and I was happy with what she said also in a shipper's perspective, but I realized now that I had never connected all the dots.
Yes, my mistake was that I always interpreted some key statements only in the contest of the drama filming, but failed to see the bigger picture.
For example:
So, reading this of course I was happy thinking "So, she really felt her heart flutter during this scene with Wookie

(posting the rehearsal/bts version here for a change, since the actual drama scene was posted just a couple of pages back
)
But I was still missing the final step from there to here:
or basically any other moment during the presscon when she was talking. And he was not only staring at her not with a smitten look and adoring eyes [LOVE] but clearly paying attention to what she was saying and often nodding in agreement [RESPECT, ADMIRATION].
And who knows how many other times, that we have not witnessed, during the filming for instance when they were discussing the scenes, and she was giving her opinion, input, etc.
Or if you want to go back in time...
Call me slow, call me stupid or whatever you want
But, as they say, better late than never, and I am happy that in the end I managed to get there -

Besides I guess she had a lot of reasons to be emotional about the concert organized to celebrate his son's 10 years' career and to say goodbye before the enlistment, and that was probably the feeling that prevailed in her at the time. I don't know why, but I was convinced that the estimated release date was April 2018... maybe I had read somewhere, during the pre-order period, that since the PD had a previous commitment for another project the Dcut was expected to be released next Spring, but the thought that we might received it in February put me in a very good mood

Exactly. And not only the "this is my woman" scene did not generally stand out among fans as a romantic line (but it does for us shippers after July 22nd
) so the inclusion in the top 4 seemed a bit odd, but we also need to add that someone had a very suspicious happy smile and sparkling eyes when said scene played on screen during the Jiscovery concert:
