    i have not seen him regretting not having Mo ShanShan as it was usually SangSang who brought her up to tease NingQue from times to times......probably inner deep SangSang does feel jealous over the bond NingQue had with Mo ShanShan.....

     

    as far as i can see i have not seen NingQue was angry or jealous over the thought of SangSang being close with JunMo....

     

    JunMo is someone he respected and like.......when he was arguing and threatening SangSang's parents if they dont have over her and will burn their mansion down....in that heat of moment....he did get slightly offended that SangSang will hide behind JunMo....in retaliation towards him....

     

    i know how u feel that why he can like another and not SangSang.......life during that period lean heavily all towards 'man' in general, it is not because im able to accept it however i fantasize in different situation on how other guys stood up and grab SangSang away from him as a revenge :D

    Your right if SS came get over it so can I. I'm not as understanding as SS lol. 

    Glad to know he doesn't regret leaving MSS.

    I like JunMo he is a gentleman. In episode 50 when JunMo warms SS up NQ looks slightly annoyed and gives him a look. At least that's what I saw. In the novel it says he got jealous but then again that machine translation is weird so maybe wrong. Here it is if you want to read novel spoiler.

    Ofcourse NQ will never experience jealousy like SS because she only loves him. 

    Yes we can fantasize about NQ getting jealous and SS getting her revenge lol. 

    Ofcourse i can only ship NingSang and no one else.

    @greenwatch08  and @n3bula:  There are not even 10 episodes left so I hope the same.  Like @lynne22 said earlier it feels like the screenwriter cheapened the NQ/SS at the expense of milking and over dramatising NQ/MSS for some inane reason.  There are less than 10 episodes left and we are still hoping they can believably capture the essence/give the development  NingSang deserves.  If the drama were doing a better job that really shouldn't even be in doubt at this point of the story but instead we are getting nonsense like NQ who never cries crying over splitting up with MSS.

     

    I agree if they don't end this on a cliffhanger then S1 can be viewed as a standalone series.  I am also very doubtful if I will watch the second part especially in the hands of this writer. 

    @raziela @nausicaay @greenwatch08 I think she does become more powerful than the others including NQ. I also want to see her fight.

    NingSang fans are passionate and don't blame them for being mad. Does she reply to ningsang fans? Hopefully this makes screen writer think twice before ruining the story. What is screen writers name? 

    Yes they have cheapened ninsang a bit. The crying was ridiculous. I didn't feel sadness I was just mad lol. These last 10 episodes need to make up for it so we can get over it. 

    As long as the screenwriter keeps ningsang together and follows the actual story I will continue watching. If I was the writer of the novel I wouldn't be happy with the changes in the story.

    book readers are most likely the minority like every book adaptation but they are loud. 

    @Wotad I think Dylan will surprise you. I know he has what it takes to be a great NQ. I hope they do have s3 as well. 

    I'm wondering how much chemistry Dylan will have with SYR. 

    Still Dylan hasn't been officially confirmed yet right?

    I wouldnt considered NQ to be an emotional person, since hes rarely seen crying at all, so him crying from MSS note infront of SS is a bit dramatized. But then again, the writers/directors already milked every NQ/MSS scene they can into EN so nothing suprises me. I hope the director/writer gives NQ/SS the development they deserve/need for the remaining episodes.

    @greenwatch08 yes the crying was over dramatic. I wonder what the screen writer was thinking when milking NQ/MSS scenes. Fan service? I hope the same cause the rest of NQ/SS scenes will determine how good they developed their story. There has to be no doubt that they belong to each other. It is after all a story about them not anyone else. Hope they capture the essence of what NingSang means to each other on screen as well as in the novel. Otherwise they will ruin it for me at least. SYR and Arthur have great chemistry so it won't be hard to accomplish.

    @greenwatch08 exactly and that is why I'm in love with their story. That love is one of a kind it's beyond romantic feelings. They are each others life. One can't live without the other. Which is why I'm really bothered by the way the drama is giving more importance to NQ/MSS relationship. They make it appear as if NQ is in love with MSS and that SS forced him to leave her. Which is completely unfair to SS character. I understand MSS had to come so ningsang would discover their true feelings for each other but having him cry over MSS letter was too much for me. Plus he cried in front of SS. Does he not realize he hurts her by doing that? Then they show ningsang in pure bliss. So happy with each other, smiling. You can clearly see they live in their own world. One were no one else can come in to. If you haven't read the novel I can see how people get confused as to who he loves. This love triangle is only made to create drama and its unnecessary. I hope s2 doesn't show MSS unless necessary.

    Not reffering to just that scene in particular but also others how the directors kinda focus on them two gazing into each other's eyes and zoom in LOL! Like when SS was about to go with the two masters to battle he came and looked her in the eye and said I came to see you and then CPP asks him 'ohhh so you came just for SS' 

    @ningsangcpp I just saw that scene and I loved it mostly cause NQ's face was annoyed. The look he gave Jun Mo. I like the fact that Jun Mo cares about SS. I hope we get more scenes like that. I just want a jealous NQ cause he deserves it. I allow Jun Mo to continue to keep warming SS up lol. Pretty sure NQ wouldn't like it. Still I only ship NingSang.

    @kiara_bleu thanks for sharing that. Yes it does make sense. NQ would never choose anyone over SS. So in the end it doesn't matter if he liked MSS or not cause he won't be with her.

    So based on your comments my understanding is that NQ's life is SS and he can't live without her. He does like MSS though. I just find it unfair for SS cause she only loves him. Sometimes I wish SS had experience something with another guy. I don't think I'd be able to be with someone who loves me but can still like someone else. Now does NQ really regret not having MSS? I just want to understand his relationship with MSS. Now in the novel spoiler alert

    When SS touches Second brothers face NQ gets jealous. 

    and I'm thinking he got jealous over nothing. He knows that SS has no romantic feelings for Jun Mo and he can't stand it. However it's okay for him to like MSS? I don't like it one bit. Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly so let me know your thoughts on this.

    @Snow Guardian yes a scene were NQ gets jealous is priceless! He deserves to feel jealous after what he put her through with MSS. I wouldn't mind more jealousy scenes from NQ.

    Maybe something for S2? Because the way second brother looks at SS is so loving in a man to woman way not just brother and sister way lol. Atleast that's how I interpreted their scenes. Oh and I'm referring to when in ep50 SS was freezing and running around trying to keep warm but he gently touched her head and made her warm with his power! 

     

    @ningsangcpp that's what I want to see. It needs to be clear that SS is the only one for NQ. That he loves her and chose her. Not that he was forced to choose her over MSS. 

    Can you tell me what episodes have MoSang ? I am curious to see if he has a thing for her lol.

    Yes pretty much! And also the actress that plays YHY. Tbh I feel like they should have put more thought process into this show if they knew they were going to potentially go for more seasons. Like how weird is it having so many cast changed and us as viewers having to get familiar with new faces lol. The most dramatic one being NQ cos I'm so use to seeing CFY portrayal of NQ. but that being said as long as SYR is still Sang sang I'll watch on for her :)

    @ningsangcpp I didn't know that most of the cast would change. Either way I think we should  still give S2 a chance. I know I will because I love their story and have to see it till the end. CFY will be missed as NQ for sure. Glad SYR will continue as female lead .

    I read that too. SYR is definitely not ugly. She is pretty. Kinda sad that people think you have to look a certain way to be beautiful. So they are judging a character based on looks not on the personality. SS is so selfless and loves NQ more than anyone else ever could. I say we give SYR all the support and ignore haters.

    1. Looking back NQ's characters, he isnt the one who easily go for drink whenever he upset. But, in the novel says that whenever he got something on his mind, something upset him, or in trouble, NQ would share or reporting to SS. He got drunk not because he broke up with MSS, but because of SS. Only SS can make him depressed and lost. 

     

    2. I dont think its fat, but chubbier, her skin tone changes from black to white and yes, she is taller.

    1. I'm so glad to know that it was because of SS. Honestly wouldn't make sense for it to be over MSS. 

    2. I tried reading the machine novel translation and it said she was beautiful and had body of a goddess. That made me assume she couldn't be fat. More like the ugly duckling turning to a swan. Then it said fat so I was confused. 

    3.I read a spoiler about this though.

    There is a scene were SS as vast sky touches Second brothers face and NQ gets jealous. I believe it's from machine translation. 

    If that is true I'd like to see it on screen.

     Some of us know NQ is from the future. NQ was reborn in this world to save this world because of his love for Haotian. They were meant for each other because they do complete each other. When Haotian is awaken only NQ was able to take her out to the world and teach her about this world. Make her love this wolrd ( THE GOOD AND THE BAD ) to accept it and love it for what it is.  Does NQ want to be a hero but know through Sang Sang, he learned to accepts people for who they are no matter what they do because after all we are human and do make mistakes.  It is also ironic that NQ found her as a babe and raised her and it would seem fit that he alone would be her teacher at her rebirth because their bond is so pure. 

     

    @UnniSarah I have to read the book from the beginning to truly understand I suppose. I've read bits focusing on them two. I believe they love each other the same. Proof is in the fact that one can't live without the other. I truly love their story. Looking forward to seeing this on the screen.

    Hello. I recently started watching Ever Night and I am completely hooked. I started reading this thread and I hope to be able to discuss the drama with you guys. I love Ning Que and Sang Sang. Btw I do love spoilers. I have a couple of questions:

    1: Why did NQ get drunk? I thought it was because of SS but someone else posted that he got drunk because of the break up with MSS

    2.

    When SS becomes vast sky she changes. Is it true she becomes fat? That's what the machine translation says. I thought she'd transform into a beautiful woman. 

    3. Does NQ ever get to be jealous over SS cause I want him to get a taste of his own medicine lol.
