Anyway, I miss uri couple so much. So I start to rewatch SP from the Dcut version. Actually I watch new Kdrama lately, but always find the excuse to go back to Dcut DVD 

 

I was at episode 8 last night. There's this additional scene at the end, where Jiwook prepared foods for Bonghee. He cut various fruits and put it in food containers. And also provide ice cream in the refrigerator. Later we see Bonghee enjoying those foods. Jiwook is sooo nice 

 

Do we have that scene in the aired version? Coz I don't remember. But I think it's not an epilogue since there's no subtitles on the scene.

 

 

I'm still thinking of what new drama to watch..LJG one perhaps..haha..lawyer stuff again (and yes just like you and everybody else...I don't know for what reason that it always draws me back to SP...one of the 101 reasons why I like/love SP. ❤)

 

Nah..we don't have it on the aired version. The beauty of the director's cut   Cute scene hehe  luv the added scenes and I still got a few episodes before I finish the drama dcut version and looking forward to the other added scenes.

I don't really ship easily when it comes to pairings on kdramas coz I feel like I'd be expecting too much of them,get overexcited,and get broken when things don't turn out well in the end.Plus most Kdramas don't repeat pairings,so whats there to see if you've been filming for like 4 months or so only.So I'm all about good story plot,good acting,and chemistry when watching a drama. I didn't really ship these two at first,and didn't really look at the bts when it first came out. But I did see chemistry right away when the drama aired, their bickerings from the start were all so spot on,that kept me going , looking forward to the drama every week. I'm not sure when I started watching the bts..I think it's when BH was giving first aid to JW..and thought there's probably something else ..like its seems too friendly ,comfortable or are they really just like that hehe,that's when I started watching the other bts that came before it and (of course awaiting the latest bts) the rest is history. I looked at the bts of their previous pairings(just to compare)but it doesn't seem to be like what they have. Months after the drama ended,and I'm still hooked.Then came the dcut and look where we are now.

Happily shipping that is.

Narp.Hyuni was the young version of Goo Hye Sun's character, so she appears only on the first 2 in full..and just snippets of her in both lead characters memory in some episodes.

 

I haven't heard from her after our last convo..she probably have finished the drama already and just busy with work and her kids.And I'm not sure how to insert the drama and bts to our convo when mostly its about life and teeth

Agree!  Some friends of mine didn't finish watching SP because they think it's dragging. But actually SP has so many other good things for the drama to worth watching. Like the main leads chemistry, the strong choice of casts who can act, the beautiful scenes, even the OST, etc. But we can't force other to like it.

 

 

 

I recommended watching SP to my colleague/friend last January coz she accidentally saw my phones wallpaper (which was SP's rain scene) at the time we were in a seminar together and she asked what drama was it and said she'd give it a try,coz at that time she was watching IANAR hehe. She texted me just last week and told me she was having SP marathon haha And she said these two seems real close and in another level..couple vibes(how Wookie hugs Hyuni in the drama she says..like there's no tomorrow As if he wanted to kiss her neck but suddenly remembers that they're on a drama lmao  ) This coming from a married non-shipper and someone who just watches kdramas whenever she has time.And oh..she has not seen the bts...not yet.  Shall I make her?

I loved hello monster too which is from the same writer of SP. I actually prefer the writing of hello monster for the thriller part because it was tighter. 

 

About the K2, I was already worried about the writing since the writer is the same for Yongpal which had a good 3-4 first episodes (apparently because the writer copied some other work and got called out at that point) then it became a real mess. So I wasn’t surprised. Even JCW shaded the writer in his post K2 interviews as it seems the script was sometimes ridiculously light with little to no details compared to Song Ji Na’s detailed writing.

 

For NJH, I watched WHYMF while it was airing but wasn’t really interested in her substory as I was more focused on the older sister’s story.

I still have 2 episodes left to watch in SKL and I agree about what you feel about the chemistry. It was a pure and fluffy kind of chemistry that felt kinda friendly.

 

There are obvious flaws in SP’s writing but the chemistry kept me waiting for the new episodes while rewatching the old ones and also for the new BTS lmao. Because the BTS also showed a new side of JCW where he was not as guarded nor he was controlling what he wanted to show the world of him. 

 

I guess NJH is someone really comfortable to be around that gets people to open up easily. As I have also witnessed from her appearance on running man where she was paired with KJK who is a reserved kind of person with a stubborn personality too. But they got close quickly and he even started asking for her opinion on several subjects when he is more of a dictator usually.

 

Agreed ,Hello Monster script was much tighter for me too .Although ratings wise,it didn't fair that much...but it showcased great acting performances.

 

Probably one of the reasons why I begged off K2 was because it did have the same writer as Yong Pal.I wasn't able to finish it even if starred the great JooWon (whom most projects I have seen..apart from the fact that I love him too as an actor hehe)..only up to episode 3 ,either I got bored or been busy with RL heh.  I would've love to start K2 just by Wookie teasers alone..but nah there was something on it that doesn't sit well on me  Luv Wookie on Healer though but my fave one before SP came in  would have to be him in Empress Ki and Fabricated City hehe  (Wasn't able to watch Warrior Baek Dong-soo  back in 2009 but I remember wanting to watch it haha,but because internet connection sucks during that time plus I have my work, I begged that one off )

 

As for Hyuni.. SKL was alright...luv her innocence  and the pureness of her character here. Her previous work,WHTMF ... I was more invested on the Father's storyline ... but then she's cute on it. There was an article I read before that her character wasn't intended to be til the last episode of the drama..but maybe because of the chemi with PHS that it got extended. Before this,there was Angel Eyes...she was on about 4-5 episodes the most only in this drama..but wow  tears just literally flow on me for her part and HaNeul's part. I honestly think that before SP... her and KHN got better chemistry than her other pairings. (It would be nice if they can do another project together,to see what its gonna be like). During SP though, I saw Hyuni's best chemistry with Wookie  It's such a huge break for her , me thinks,to step out of that child actress persona and I'm happy she was up for the challenge and did it gracefully.

And each time i see that deranged king, i wanted to smack him cos i couldn't stand the sight of that childish guy who is supposedly the king and my impression was that all he could care about was the female lead. I watched Healer at the time it was airing mainly for the obvious reason that is Wookie My first one though was Smile Donghae (ah long drama but him and BongYi's character were cute on it hehe).My recent one before SP was Fabricated City which I think was pretty decent for an action film (its got good acting from wookie as well) 

 

Post SP has always been SP I'm rewatching SeGa (while waiting for the dcut a month ago) but I haven't finished it yet ,tsk  Seriously, moving on from this drama to another is hard.

I'm supposed to write a long post in connection to SP anniv but RL has been keeping me busy..hence the words ain't coming hehe. I managed to watch a few episodes from the dcut in search of added scenes..it's amazing though that I was able to watch it without skipping and I'm still feeling fluttery as ever with these two hehe and our law firm being funny and engaging still  

 

A while ago..was going thru photos on my phone,wanting to delete a few, and discovered the first ever photo and gif I saved from SP... and ta-da:

It turned out to be the infamous rain scene ... which is on the the top 5 I guess of my fave SP scenes (ah that top 5 list..that I have yet to jot down  ) I'd probably save it for later on explaining why this ones a fave scene of mine,other than that..this one is such a cool photo of JW and BH running..and it's not helping either that Wookie looks awesomely gorgeous while holding on to Hyunis wrist..I mean how is this shot  even possible  I wonder how many takes this one had.:p This one's the wallpaper on my other phone haha

It's definitely one of my fave SP scenes...and this gif alone was more than enough (at that time) to feed my shipper heart It was freakingly intense and wah that JW gaze to BH was just too hot to handle. Both their eyes were very telling...I see affection and tension at the same time.I'm not really into analyzing characters scenes on a drama...as long as they deliver and give me that feeling..then I'd be satisfied ..but these two just nailed it  (and I'm not being biased,ayt). This scene was perfection beyond words. ❤ (come to think of it, they nailed every scene to perfection..me thinks )

 

As for the deletion of pics on my phone...unsuccessful on the SP ones I don't know where this post is leading..so I'm off to my haven now..SP dcut..

Just what I've written in one of my previous post...NJH is Eun Bong Hee. No other actress could've portrayed it well. Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun slayed both their respective roles. And totally agree with you dear..Wookie totally deserved to have an award for SP,that was such an intense scene.(that scene alone was more than enough,but he exceeded all my expectations for SP).Luv your selection of favourite scenes,from JW to BH to JiBong hehe.❤❤❤But the necktie scene is not included,aww  ..I kid ( should probably make my own selection haha..when I have more time and comp with me..its hard using handphone ) It's good to watch scene cuts even if I watched two episodes from the dvd last night  I luv their meetings too even if a  lot were disaster ones haha.It's hard letting go  ( Will I ever let go? )

the Drama Sets have some parts that wernt shown on the actual TV. they added few scene here and there. just like PDnim mentioned on one of the specials they had to take out some scenes cuz of "time" but im glad they have few in the drama. also you have to watch till the end. they added more scenes.

Ah yes,  added scenes in between,in the end..that makes you understand it more on how it shifted to this scene and that. These extra scenes though don't have subtitles..so I rely on my limited Korean and body language hah  My episode laterz would be their 1st kiss and the aftermath hehe. Excited as well for the added scenes.
