    Just a side comment on our Ji Ah-ssi heading to the Meteor Garden..err..meteor shower, I think she already knew where to go because of the promise as well as the news that both of them saw before boarding the train to Geoje Island. *wink!

     

    Also to @zzj1 - Nice to meet you here, ahjussi!

     

    All this excitement just goes to show that IANAR is well received among international fans and is ranking first on streaming sites! I do hope our love reaches all the actors and staff. What satisfaction could it be to know that all their hardwork on braving the cold paid off. :wub:

    Gives us the feeling of a whole new drama against time. Both would probably do well in a historical/melo. *hearty eyes* I so wish I could understand what they're saying though. *wink!

     

    Also, regarding our Min Kyu's intellect, I think his desperation for companionship overshadowed his logic. Met a lot of people in real life who aces the academe really well yet makes the stupidest decisions ever - most specially on matters of the heart. So I was like, "Well yeah..that could happen." *wink!

    I teared up too, chingu ya! Finally slept well after all the emotional turmoil from the previous episodes!

     

    The moment with Min Kyu-ssi and Jin Bae-oppa was also gold! Will MK call him hyung too?!? Looking forward to that. Haha

     

    And I remember someone also mentioning IANAR's resemblance to Beauty and the Beast. After MK's monstrous outrage, because uri Ji Ah stayed, she got her man! *swoons

    Hi chingus! Loved everyone's post here! Thank you for all the live recaps and the pics and the BTS and the wonderful analyses. Been catching up with everything since reality has never been so real to me these days. Lol :lol:

     

    @dramu51ch0c10ve - I'm guessing Madam X is the one Mr. Butler was with when BG saw them after meeting with YC. Hmmm..

     

    Also, does Yoo Seung Ho's smile come with insurance? Because they say the most precious assets should be insured. *wink!

     

    And Ji Ah-ssi?!? She's cuteness overload all bundled up. Haha B)

     

    Also really love love love their conversation! Our hearts fluttered with Ji Ah too with those moments! *giggles 

     

    Is it just me or has anyone here rewatched their conversation countless times?!?

    I am just so engrossed with last night's episode that I can't keep our Min Kyu's anguished face off my mind. *not that I mind though* Lol :blink:

     

    But never have I cried like that ever! That was just mind-blowing, crazy, powerful acting! And to think I watched it without subs. I'm usually the type who avoids melos because of the lingering tug in the heart that it brings. But man, Yoo Seung Ho deserves a standing ovation. *clap clap  clap*

     

    Going back to the show, I am in agreement with most of the pretty squad here. I didn't find Min Kyu one bit abusive at all. He was just hurt - raw and square. And as the saying goes, "Hurt people tend to hurt others too.." It will then just take a bit more time for the wave of rage to pass for him to come back to his senses. :)

     

    And one more thing that I give credit to is Ji Ah. She is the epitome of perseverance and determination in this episode! Like daebak! She was like an old oak tree who stood still despite the fiery storm - her love for Min Kyu must have really rooted way  deep down for her to be shaken by angry fits thrown at her. Kudos, Jo Ji Ah-ssi! Also with comic books after THAT night?!? Stubborn love it is. *wink!

     

    Also kept replaying Min Kyu's umbrella realization and how it dawned on him that maybe..just maybe..she loved him back. For a man who has lived in a kingdom of isolation and who's love has never been validated by anyone for 15 years, his face showed a child-like hope and the glint in his eyes betrayed his emotions. *faints

     

    Can't wait for tonight! Kyaaaaaaa! :D

    Just daebak! So this is what they say our Yoo Seung Ho can do! I was crying like crazy on his outburst with a glass of whiskey in his hand - and I didn't even understand one thing that he just said. Gosh. *a big round of applause for splendid acting! *throws confetti :o

     

    And Chae Soo Bin was at par with him at it! Taking all those emotional blows with very expressive eyes. Simply amazing! *thumbs up!

     

    Thanks to all who did the live recap! What makes any drama more fun to watch is the community sharing its joy! Thank you chingus! :wub:

     

    Now the preview seemed sad though..hmmmm. Oh well..might as well leave it to MBC. *wink!

    I think the same with you guys too! Though I don't have much of an evidence since this is the first of YSH that I've watched. :lol:

     

    Been shipping 3 couples ever since my K drama experience. The SongSong, Swag and Puppy couples and got this similar gut feeling with these two! They are just sooo adorable oncam and offcam and all their smiles tell a tale of closure. :wub:

     

    Would also like to ask YSH fans out there if there's any difference between his interactions with Kim So Hyun? *curios cat here* haha 

     

    Anyways, happy waiting everyone! 

     

    PS: Does anyone do live recaps in this thread? Been catching only glimpses since I still have work when the show airs *sobs*:lol:

    I would love to see BH notice Pi and an awkward but cute realization hits him. I would love a Jin-Bae and Ji Ah moment when he acknowledges his sister's gift and  he assures her that he's rooting for her.

    Hi chingus!

     

    First time to post here. :D

    Felt all giddy reading all your posts. Thanks for all the lovely pics too! Totally eyecandy. 

     

    I so agree with @happy2018! I am crossing my fingers that they'd end up dating or getting married in the "middle of next year" *giggles!* After the swag, puppy and the songsong couple, they're the ones I ship the hardest now! And I'm so happy to see them having met last 2015 for DMZ as some of you have posted here. 

     

    Their chemistry is so heartwarming to a different level that it makes you want to hug them both and push them to make up just like our halmoni in the show! Their smiles make me smile with them and their tears break my heart too..Not to mention how Min-Kyu looks at Ji-Ah.. *sigh *melts *flip tables :D

     

    I also love the writing and its reference to "The Velveteen Rabbit". So intricately written yet so warm and fun!

     

    Looking forward to:

    - How the quantum lamps will come into play (From Seoul to Australia perhaps?)

    - The Monami file.. (I'm still hoping for YC to redeem his friendship with MK through this though)

    - ..And of course the necklace (Will Ji-Ah ship it back to  MK just like before? And will we finally get the meteor shower proposal?)

    - And also the coffee! Haha. The one MK buys for Ji-Ah in the car in the BTS. (or is it part of the real cut?) :huh:

     

    Really enjoying this show with everyone here. Happy waiting! *wink!

    Hi chingus! Daebak. The latest episode was a clean cut from the previous case as well as a decent breather from all the emotional hypes that built up since episode one. Reminds me when riding a roller coaster. The peaceful lows gives us time to breathe for the nest extreme curve. :D Plus ending the episode with a kiss was like cherry on an ice cream - perfect!

     

    What also got me good was when all my expectations (except for the cameo by LSK and YKS)  from my previous post was just well answered in a single episode!

    - Hong-Joo and Detective Choi interaction. I remember in the teasers when Hong Joo being the "femme fatale" that she is in stilettos while picking up something, leaving Detective Choi's jaw dropping! :lol:

    - And also the cameo of Lee Sung Kyung and Yoon Kyun Sang! *whoohoo!

    I also agree with @bebebisous33 . There was an undertone message on LYB being the instigator of the shooting to what Jae-Chan meant when referring to the drunk driver handled by Prosecutor Sohn. Do you think that case of that is related to her son too or the next case somewhat chingu ya?

    Hi everyone!

     

    Had a hard time logging in to Soompi since yesterday so I had no other choice but to lurk. *grins 

     

    Still about to catch up on yesterday's episode because of unfinished tasks in real life. That's why I'm so thankful to all our live recappers here,  to @nonski for the roll call and to everyone who posted updates on WYWS. Seriously you guys saved my itchy curiosity on what happened to Woo Tak and that almost car kiss! A big THANK YOU chingus!

    Annyeong chingus! So glad to see family from SWDBS and BOTWG in here. *wink!

     

    Would like to share some thoughts on the latest episode. :wub:

     

    [Spoiler theories up ahead! Please don't read if you haven't watched them yet]

     

    - When Jae-Chan said that there are some things that needed to be faced head on, I was right off my seat and screaming "Hooray!". I think it was a cross reference of: 1) His own feelings of which he tried to evade; 2) Hong Joo's fear of death and 3) The chef's guilt in killing the victim

     

    - The chef (Bok Joo's uncle) probably killed the victim by letting him eat the poisoned chicken and covering his tracks by refusing the autopsy and the cremation of the body (I think I saw a slight smile from him too *shivers*  and I find it kind of creepy)

     

    - When Jae-Chan grabbed Hong-Joo's hand, I knew I was done for. That was swoon-worthy! *slow clap for LJS. He is not Lee Jong Suk for nothing. [Replayed it 5 times already as of date. Lol]

     

    - When Hong-Joo spoke up about Jae-Chan during his lunch with his co-workers, I was clapping in the background like a schoolgirl! That was daebak! Added to that was the hair flip. *jaw-drop 

     

    Now I’m looking forward to more intense and sweet moments! Good night from our side of the world!

    Hi everyone! First time to post in this thread! :rolleyes: 

     

    I really find Lee Jong Suk as Jae-Chan to be daebak! He is so suave yet so dorky at the same time. And Suzy is just so silly and funny. 

     

    The twist in the first episode got me real good and I'm looking forward to a memorable k-drama ride all throughout!

     

    Lee Jong Suk does know how to choose his dramas. They all make a significant impact regardless of the rating. B)
