18 years old Kang Kyung Joon (Shin Won Ho)’s spirit suddenly becomes transplanted in the body of 30 years old Seo Yoon Jae (Gong Yoo). Seo Yoon Jae is a successful doctor and engaged to high school teacher Gil Da Ran (Lee Min Jung). Gil Da Ran just so happens to be the teacher of 18 years old Kang Kyung Joon.

Jang Ma Ri (Bae Suzy) is a girl who love Kang Kyung Joon (Shin Won Ho) and try any effort to escape Kang Kyung Joon’s spirit from Seo Yoon Jae’s body.

^lol it's funny how they just did that photoshoot together recently. Maybe the casting director saw something?

This isn't the first tim the Hong Sisters have turned a Hollywood movie into a Kdrama. They did it with Overboard (80s movie with Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell) and turned it into Couple or Trouble/Couple of Fantasy which starred Han Ye Seul and Oh Ji Ho. The ending was pretty similar to what the movie was.

The biggest change between the Tom Hanks movie Big and this is obviously the main character being an 18 year old who turns into 30. The movie Big was a 12 year old waking up as 30. There's a big difference between 18 and 12... although it could be talking about Korean age so might be 17.

The possible 'romance' between LMJ and GY's characters would seem a lot less creepy knowing it's not a 12 year old.

Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, and miss A‘s Suzy have been confirmed as the leads for the upcoming drama, ‘Big‘.

The drama ‘Big’ is written by the Hong sisters, who have written previous hit dramas like ‘The Greatest Love‘, ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho‘, and ‘You’re Beautiful‘.

Gong Yoo is returning to the TV screen after 5 years since his role in ‘Coffee Prince‘. He will playing the role of Seo Yoon Jae, a 30 year old man who comes to possess the soul of an 18 year old adolescent.

Lee Min Jung will be trapped in an absurd situation where her stern 30-year old fiance becomes an 18-year old. She’ll be marking her return to the small screen after 1 year since ‘Midas‘.

miss A’s Suzy will take part in the love triangle, who captures the heart of the 18-year old Seo Yoon Jae.

‘Big’ will air after KBS‘s ‘Love Rain‘ on June 4th. The actors and actresses will meet on April 14th and will proceed to do a script reading.

Will there be a young actor to play the role of an 18-year-old Gong Yoo? I adore Lee Min Jung and hopefully, this drama will take on a comedic light where we are able to see Lee Min Jung in a different role. Her character was quite bland in Midas.

Omo! You don't know how ecstatic I am. I'm super glad it's official now. I have no worries in terms of chemistry for these two. They're always so natural when it comes to lovey dovey stuff. Lee Min Jung was wonderful in Smile, You. Gong Yoo was wonderful in Coffee Prince. My first time rooting for a OTP even before watching the drama. Oh, you don't know how long I've been wishing/waiting to find two great romantic actors who know how to act like real couples on-screen. I've been urgently patiently waiting for someone as comfortable/natural as them to pair off. These two will explode when it comes to comedic/romantic/cute scenes- haha. Ok, I'm going ahead of myself now...
