The Shins are said to be the King of Indie. i heard about them through various magazines and stuff but hadn't really heard much of their music. when i watched Garden State on DVD the other day i absolutely loved the song which was playing in the chick's headphones. that movie is awesome, love it....

im wondering...

anyone seen the mockmentary film "brothers of the head"?

i really want to hear "the treadaways"'s songs...from the movie

the twins(harry and luke treadaway) actually produced the music themselves...i read it's very proto punk sounding

very curious

I'm SO MAD!

I was gonna go to a concert at the Hollywood featuring Belle & Sebastian and The Shins!!! I'm missing it by two days because I'll be in Korea. My friend's going, though. :(

AZURE RAY: maria's vocals are a god sent...she's doing a local show with jenny lewis in nyc in the upcoming month.

Styrofoam is my favorite at the moment. The "Nothing's Lost" CD, especially. Got me hooked to listening to Andrew Kenny's voice. :X It's so soothing.

Mmm I love Andrew Kenny's voice. It's very unique. AmAnSet are good to chill to, especially The Postman.

i like arcade fire. i think the song 'neighbourhood #3' is great!

has anyone heard of 'The Feeling'? its a new indie band but i havne't actually heard their music. i just know of them cos i read a controversial article online with them and they were commenting on the Arctic Monekys and yada yada about fame and such

The Killers.Mr Brightside =]

Arctic Monkeys.I fell in love with their song When The Sun Goes Down.Great beat and naughty lyrics lol.Their other songs are not bad either for eg,I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor.
