“액션신 도중 상대배우 코뼈를 부러뜨렸다”

24일 서울 명동 롯데시네마 에비뉴엘관에서 열린 영화 ‘미스터 소크라테스’(감독 최진원 , 제작 커리지필름·오존필름)의 시사 후 진행된 기자간담회장. 열혈남아로 돌아온 주인공 김래원이 과격했던 촬영 뒷얘기를 살짝 공개했다.

영화 ‘미스터 소크라테스’는 부모형제도 몰라보고 친구까지 팔아 넘기는 악질 양아치가 조직에 의해 강력계 형사로 키워진다는 내용의 범죄액션물. 단 한명의 여배우 출연 없이 김래원 , 강신일, 이종혁, 윤태영의 탄탄한 4색 카리스마로 극의 흐름을 이끌어간다.

극중 파렴치한 날건달 ‘구동혁’으로 분한 김래원은 부드러운 이미지를 벗고 싶었다는 오랜 숙원을 확실히 풀었다. 여심을 녹이던 달콤한 눈웃음 대신 썩은 미소를 짓고 입가엔 항상 쌍욕을 달고 다니며 허구헌날 주먹다툼으로 멍투성이 된 망가진 얼굴을 들이민다.

김래원은 “평소 운동을 좋아해 액션신을 쉽게 생각하고 다른 준비를 하지 않았다가 크게 낭패 봤다”면서 “온몸에 멍과 상처가 가실 날이 없었다. 또 내 부실한 실력으로 다른 사람들을 많이 다치게 만들었다”고 솔직히 시인했다.

이어 “우리 영화는 합이나 콘티가 없는 ‘리얼 액션’을 담았다. 때문에 ‘그냥 싸워라’는 감독님의 주문에 막무가내로 휘두르다 무술팀 배우 한명의 코뼈를 부러뜨린 적도 있어 너무 죄송했다”고 깊숙이 고개숙여 사과했다.

“Harvard student” Kim Rae Won has transformed into a thug trained to be a cop, with a 180 degree image change.

KRW who played a Harvard student in the drama “Love Story in Harvard” (airing ended early this year) is showing viewers a drastic change and great improvement in acting skills. In his new movie, “Mr. Socrates”, he plays Ku Dong Hyuck, a cop fighting organized crime but was himself a member of a criminal ring.

KDH was once a penniless thug. He was “educated” to become a cop according to the needs of a criminal ring. Though he was forced to get information for the criminal ring, after facing conflicting circumstances, he ultimately became a real cop.

At the press conference held at Avenuel (a cinema at Min Dong, Seoul) on the 24th, KRW revealed, “Since I’m a sportive person and I’ve practiced a lot before the filming, I thought it would be easy. When it came to the real shooting, I got bruises and bumps all the time.” He added, “And once I was careless and broke the nose of an actor of the action team. I’m very sorry about that.” The movie “Mr. Socrates” will be shown on Nov 10.
