Old style Babwaaaah is pretty funny.

HR is so obviously semi-based on the reporter in Sandglass who had a wittle crush on Woo Suk and was putting out a story on Tae-Soo. The one played by Lee Seung Yun, who was exactly like that cussing, smoking, drinking reporter. I kinda wish they were brave enough to portray HR that way.

Is she a femme fatale now? I don't see it.

Don't quit up on EOE, guys .. I believe that once Hye Rin's character becomes power obsessed and in some way political minded, the story will be far more interesting than now (if she really changes to be one). I'm really anticipating more from HR and really2 waiting for the twist in the EOE story. At this point, I care more on the development of Hye Rin's character ... I really hope that LDH can shine through this drama .. but until now, she had the LEAST screen time compared to other leading actors/actress. Even the Ep. 31 preview..doesn't seem to good for HR. Hope that they will seriously focus on HR and DW-HR-DC loveline after the birth secret revealed. (Hoping...)

I felt so bad after someone agreed with my comment about LDH's acting, the comment made my criticism of her worse than it was what I intended it to be. I never thought that LDH overthink things before Min Hye-Rin in the beginning of the series. I always thought she threw herself into the character before, over the top facial expressions and all.

I criticised LDH but felt so hurt when others agreed with it. I'm so hypocritical. I know imogene_af and ripgal are fans and when they criticise LDH, I don't mind because they believe she has the potential to be better but I get offended when others do the same thing. Heh, I still have my biases.

In all fairness to LDH though, she has gotten pretty consistent good reviews for MHR.

My only real qualm about her acting was the eye popping scene, her HEEEYANDEEEH (she will never live this down to me hahaha, I am permanently scarred with this), and her very tensioned acting from time to time (especially in Episode 10). As I said earlier Hye-rin is NOT a showy character, lots of undercurrent, it's not the best character to warm up to, then again this is the only real time she has had a fleshing out. I feel like we're still discovering her, while most of the other characters have it filled to the brim with their traits.

I think LDH has taken the very acty moments out of her too, in her recent works. She has yet to really show herself in East of Eden, I still feel like I am only getting to know Hye-rin.
