The only program that can play the profile for me is Real Media Player. I tried to dl at the 2 links that you give, but the result is still the same with the upside down episode.

hehehe....indeed upside down. Sorry, don't know how to fix it. I will remove the link. Think the file is no good. Sorry.

The other one, asf format, is OK.

Really wanted to watch this series but there are no Eng subs. Unfortunately I cannot read Chinese. That's why I am always so thankful for the English subbing team. Tried youtube but no one has uploaded :(

I am really into this drama, so far I am at episode 7. I sort of love this though I think the plot is gonna be ridiculous after reading the episode summary. I feel so bad for JE, such a poor girl. Her husband and mother in law is really really terrible. I think the mother in law is so scary, always eves-dropping on them when they are in the room. One thing I must say, JE really chosen the wrong man in the first place, she should have stay on with DH no matter what....

i haven't watched any episode of this drama but i think this drama is a good one because PSY is the female lead.. love her acting. :)

Winter Bird, for me, the only reason I started to watch this series was because PSY played as the female lead. I like her espc in 18 vs 29. :rolleyes:

I've finished 30 episodes so far… This is weird, though I lost my interest to continue this series in the middle because kind of boring…very long story....i used fast fwrd button quite often. But, well, i still continue until now...LOL.....

One of my reasons is i hate almost all the characters in it, even Yong Eun. :sweatingbullets:

How come this girl being so stupid!! (sorry...not PSY, she is lovely but YE is..ouch..).

Her bro DY oppa was the same. Namja aniya... <_< especially his mimics...., though he is handsome, but i kind of irritated with his mimics..like everything was the same, sad, angry, happy, guilty, his face will always the same. Do i the only one who thinks that way? :blink:

about YE's husband...gosh...he is a bit "crazy" plus her mom..that's two 'crazy'. :crazy:

I hope that kind of people only exist in drama not real life. To have a husband and mother in law like them is indeed like living in hell.... poor YE.

Worst of all, is YE's godfather and godmother!! :tongue2: :crazy: :crazy:

They are like 'evil in angel mask' trying to push YE away from their life...don't even care about her happiness and also their son's in the name of "for your own good..bla.bla.bla".

I don't think they are good people espc.the godmother. In some point, I think she is worst than YE's mother in law.

Don't say about YE's aunty. I hate her two faces. I don't know why, for me, she has no intention in helping YE. Just trying to be nice in front of everybody. Sometimes she seems trying to help YE-DY relationship but she also against it.

DY's sister..well, i hate her too, but at least she didn't cover her hate towards YE from the very beginning. Even in front of YE and others too, she showed her dislike. So YE can choose to avoid her as she could.

So, the character that i like maybe only YE's good friend and her mom. They're really nice and helpful. YE lucky to have them as 'family'. That's why i kind of hate YE's character. In some point she seems 'forget' which person is actually nice to her.

But..well...maybe i just feel her character is a bit annoying. just my 2 cents...

wah..i wrote so much hate and hate in here...hope no one get offended.... :)

Hi de Jarje, good to see you here and to read your thoughts especially.. like seriously.. I feel the same way, too. And I love PSY since saw her in 'Truth' years ago and absolutely adore Lee Tae Gon since 'Dear Heaven'. I'm supposed to write something about the series earlier as I've seen the ending, finally. Unfortunately.. no matter how much expectation and love I had before anticipating Winter Bird.. sigh.. I could not make myself rave about the series as I would have hoped to and didn't feel the urge to write until I saw your comment up there.

Personally, I think watching the last episodes would be meaningful with some subs or translation because YE and DH had rather long conversations between them, at least that would not alienate the non-Korean viewers like us. But sadly.. we can't comprehend anything going on.. not even by watching the casts' expressions.. and yup.. DH was just monotonous. I don't mind YE as much because she had quite a bit on her plate (character-wise).. though not as much as KW and his insane mom. :wacko: But watching DH was a huge disappointment. Winter Bird did nothing for him and vice-versa. He's there.. just looking good.. with similar solemn and blank face and just looking good. That's all. It's a far, far cry from his role in 'Dear Heaven'. Even if he was still somewhat 'green' in the previous series.. at least he had a number of expressions (yes, still far to go in his career if he wants to make it) but he's there actually showing some acting. But in Winter Bird.. all he did was looking good.. sort of pensive.. and very much wooden.

Especially in the last few episodes when WB started to focus A LOT of DH and YE scenes.. either alone or together.. sitting alone on the bed at night.. or drinking coffee.. they would systematically PAUSE themselves and start to stare blankly into the empty space.. thinking of each other.. again and again. Seriously.. they probably had more scenes together than the earlier 40 episodes put together.. crammed in the last 3 episodes but such a waste, as if.. nothing much but to fill the remaining scenes.

Anyway.. I still adore PSY and LTG especially.. they did what they had to do but there's really nothing to rave about. Maybe it's my flaw of not catching the emotions. But I thought and actually waited for some sort of climax or drastic turnaround that makes the Jeongs accept YE wholeheartedly but it fell flat. Nothing really spectacular really really happened to make it more interesting than the usual tug-of-war, day in day out between YE and Mz. Kang.

I probably had missed something.. I admit I didn't watch some episodes especially those monopolized by Mz.Kang :crazy: but there isn't anything that actually makes YE realized how much she really loved and needed DH.. or was there? Of course.. I just didn't get the ONE THING that finally made the adamant Mrs. Jeong to change her mind so completely, finally welcoming YE into the family as DH's wife. Can anyone enlighten this?

Sorry if this sounded harsh.. some of us have been here.. right from the start, right? You know.. I still hope that LTG would be better appreciated in his future projects than just to appear dashing and nothing else like he did in Winter Bird. PSY is cool.. she just needs better roles and a more convincing storyline, she's got more talent than shown in Winter Bird.

I actually love YE's best friend's romance instead. At least.. not all is lost, huh. :blush:

Now.. :mellow: ... I'll go..

and hide myself from all coming snowballs. :unsure::sweatingbullets:

thanks for the review Rubie...as much as I also anticipated so much for this series ( I adore PSY as an actress)...the drama also left me hanging and disappointed...the drama has flaws and that keep me away from watching the drama and just came back during the last few episodes...Mz. Kang gave me the headaches as she almost sole the whole drama which I thought it would be much nicer if all characters were given the proper airtime and some good dialogues at least ...though I stuck with the drama but same here I could never rave about it
