Lee Min Ho And Jun Ji Hyun Crack Up The Crew As They Act Drunk In Making-Of Shots From “The Legend Of The Blue Sea”

Have you watched the latest episode of “The Legend of the Blue Sea”? SBS has shared behind-the-scenes photos of one of the episode’s highlights, which is that very memorable drunken confession scene.

On December 19, the drama’s production team released a series of candid photos of Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho as they were going through that epic scene, in which Heo Jun Jae (Lee Min Ho) attempts to teach Shim Cheong (Jun Ji Hyun) to drink, but ends up getting plastered himself.

According to the production team, even the staff on set couldn’t stop themselves from laughing at Lee Min Ho’s realistic portrayal of a drunk person who keeps repeating himself over and over. They were also extremely tickled by Jun Ji Hyun’s drunk-crying over the dried octopus snacks (octopuses are beloved pets for mermaids in the drama).

The production team also talked about the unfurling of the drama’s climax, saying, “After Jun Jae’s drunken confession, the two lead characters come clean about their secrets in the ending of episode 10. How their relationship changes after the reveal will be shown in the next act, so please continue to show your love for the drama.”

Heechul says his gaming rival is Lee Min Ho

 

Heechul chose actor Lee Min Ho as his only gaming rival!

He is on SBS' new variety show 'Game Show', and when asked who he thought was the best gamers in K-pop. He answered, "It's me and actor Lee Min Ho." There are many gamers in K-pop, but it's been revealed that Heechul and Lee Min Ho are tier Diamond 3~4 in 'League of Legends' (The top 2.4%).

“Legend of the Blue Sea” Lee Min Ho x Lee Min Ho Exciting Thrilling Secret - 20.12.2016

[OSEN = Reporter Park Jin Young] SBS Wednesday - Thursday Drama “Legend of the Blue Sea” release the latest cuts of their male lead Lee Min Ho’s secret from his past and present life. Through the 9th and 10th episode, viewers had seen Heo Jun Jae (Lee Min Ho)’s past and present characters clash, ‘meeting’ each other. As a the connection between the two person grows thicker, the audience’s interest is getting higher with the released still cuts of behind the scene. 

The Wednesday-Thursday SBS Drama “Legend of the Blue Sea” (Written by Park Ji Eun / Directed by Jin Hyuk / Culture Depot of South Korea / Production House Studio Dragon) itself is a fantasy romance filled with laughter and fun. The drama also have unpredictable events as the very last mermaid on the planet will meet the con-artist and will have trouble adapting to the human life, There will be a connection tying their past that will cross over to the future as the story unfold. The story line was promised to give the audience a brand new experience.“Legend of the Blue Sea” revealed exciting moments of the meeting between Kim Dam Ryeong of the pas life (Lee Min Ho) and Heo Jun Jae of the present life (Lee Min Ho), making viewers looking forward to the 11th and 12th episode that will air on the 21st of December. It seems that the still cuts was taken for the 11th and 12th episode. On the 9th episode, when Heo Jun Jae collapsed in Han River, the lost his consciousness. On the beginning of the 10th episode Heo Jun Jae faced the portrait he found of Kim Dam Ryeong, raising tension. 

The latest still cuts released catching viewers eyes. Heo Jun Jae is inside some kind of 'memory room’ with Kim Dam Ryeong than transcends through time and places, showing subtle atmosphere. Kim Dam Ryeong then was seen left a message for Heo Jun Jae with determination and will on his photograph, while Jun Jae was surprised. Heo Jun Jae with his shining eyes couldn’t believe what he saw, especially when reading the message left by Kim Dam Ryeong. 

On the other still cuts, Heo Jun Jae and Kim Dam Ryeong met in the 'memory room’, Heo Jun Jae remember the message that Kim Dam Ryeong left him before, and realizing that what was written there and what has been said to him before was the same, “If you are indeed my reincarnation int he future, please do remember this message. Everything is repeating itself, even the ill-fated one. There is a connection between them. please remember, protect that women from bad person at all cost~”. Heo Jun Jae was confused and trying to understand how he can accept the message.

What is the Hallyu Ban and its effect on Lee Min-ho?

Despite the fact that a 'Hallyu Ban' has been issued in China, actor Lee Min-ho is still as hot as ever. His Hallyu stardom and spin-offs are still the center of attention in the Chinese region.

According to local sources, Lee Min-ho has recently been selected as the model for China's biggest cell phone company. This company put forward Lee Min-ho to promote its latest item the Edge L. Pictures and footages of Lee Min-ho with the said item has been coming up on SNS and YouTube. His handsome looks earned him the nickname 'God' in China and it looks like the Hallyu Ban doesn't apply to him.

However, things are still very cautious. There is a brand that's been limiting promotion online.

According to this brand, Lee Min-ho signed a contract with them in August. The details of the contract can't be known but it does say broadcasting promotions are excluded. This is what the Hallyu Ban influences. The Hallyu Ban's main agenda is for all Korean stars to be excluded from broadcasting advertisements. Therefore it means companies will react to these restrictions but also utilize as much of the Hallyu star as they can. Lee Min-ho's management says, "We know that promotion is only being done online and he's not going to be at the promotion scheduled on the 20th".

Meanwhile, Lee Min-ho's drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" is also suffering from this ban, the drama hasn't officially been exported to China yet, although pirated versions of it have been going around. Not even a day passed since the first episode started in Korea and pirated versions of the drama were already being sold in China. Drama clips have been coming up on Chinese SNS as well. This abnormal attention is bittersweet as it's illegal but it shows how much they love Lee Min-ho.

This photo of Minho sleeping on the set of the drama, caught my attention. Especially, since LMH & JJH have the most acting their schedules must be such that they get to rest and sleep only a few hours a day. I have read that Minho takes a nap every time  he gets a chance to do so and he does it to regain energy. In 2012 during "Faith" days, he posted a pic of him on FB, sleeping on a chair with his mouth open. Even in such pics he looks really cool and handsome.
