"The Legend of the Blue Sea" Lee Min-ho, a fraud from Mensa

Lee Min-ho was featured on the cover of TRICKSTER magazine. Lee Min-ho plays the part of a fraud in this cover feature like his role in the drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea".

He takes on the role of Heo Joon-jae in the new SBS drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea".

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" is about a mermaid who lives in the city and meets a genius fraud.

Lee Min-ho's role of Heo Joon-jae is handsome and smart as he quit KAIST and is a member of Mensa. He is a genius fraud.

This character cut of Lee Min-ho on the cover of TRICKSTER steals the show. He's wearing a fitted suit and looks so sexy.

This magazine also explains itself as the 'magazine for a fraud with conscience'.

The magazine also added details like the release date of the drama in the bar code.

Meanwhile, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" will be released on the 16th of November.

SBS’s upcoming fantasy-romance drama Legend of the Blue Sea is taking an interesting approach to a first promotional character cut, by putting its star, Lee Min-ho, on the cover of a fake magazine (“Trickster monthly”) which depicts him as his drama character, Mensa member and legit genius turned scam artist, Heo Joon-jae. There really is a magazine for everything!

He (as character Heo Joon-jae) is the magazine’s cover story for its November issue, and the (faux) article points out that he doesn’t just con people indiscriminately—he doesn’t take from people who don’t have anything—recognizing his sense of morals (ish?). Are you making him some kind of Robin Hood, or is he only kind of a criminal for scamming people who presumably deserve it?

For a meta touch, the cover also makes mention of Hot Drama Legend of the Blue Sea, starring Jeon Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho, because even in fake dramaland, the promotional machine churns on.

Legend of the Blue Sea pairs Lee Min-ho’s master con artist with Jeon Ji-hyun’s last-mermaid-on-earth character in a romance that spans multiple eras (and species), and will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays following Jealousy Incarnate. It premieres on November 16.

How can our boy look handsomer with every new pic and video we're seeing? I'm beginning to believe those surveys that say that men reach their handsome and sexy visuals peak when they cross 30 since that's when their muscle mass peaks and their jaws start to get angular.  So ladies, if this were true, then we need to brace ourselves for an even handsomer and sexier LeeMinHoT in the coming years! 

I'm liking the creative new ways that sbs is marketing LotBS. No expense and creativity are being spared for their biggest hit! Expectations are really high for this one, so I hope that they continue what they're doing throughout the drama's run.

Lee Min-ho is a con-man on magazine cover

A teaser image of Lee Min-ho in his con-man character from the upcoming SBS drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea“ was released Monday.

The image shows Lee, who plays professional scam artist Heo Joon-jae, on the cover of the fictitious magazine, Trickster. The magazine cover also reveals that his character is a member of the high IQ society, Mensa. 

Last week, SBS released the first official trailer for the highly anticipated drama. It showed snippets of the picturesque Spanish coastline as well as some hints to the storyline. 

The drama is set to air every Wednesday and Thursday from Nov. 16, replacing “Jealousy Incarnate.”
