Guest miss sweetie
I love tradional Asian clothing. Sometimes, I want to go back to China and take studio shots of me in them. I want to wear every kind of tradional clothing there is! They're all different and beautiful and unique in their own ways.
Guest ilovetakeshi
um...the Qipao is actually Manchurian and the Hanfu is the really traditional Chinese clothing I dont think Korean Hanbok looks bad I just think that its not as pretty compared to some others...and sometimes the hairstyles scare me... Hanboks kinda look like muffins lol very big muffins... :3 The Qipao is a modification (to quite a large extent) of the traditional Manchu clothing, but is no way directly Manchurian. Guest AAgurl789
I like most of the Asian traditional clothing, most are really pretty. ^^ I'll start by posting pictures of the Vietnamese Ao Dai. I love them since it's so simple yet very elegant and form fitting. Truly classy. I just love the way it flows in the wind, really pretty. Usu, school girls would wear white ao dai. There's more elaborate ao dai, but white ones are really pretty IMO. You can purchase the calendar photos at http://www.aotrang.com Not really ao dai, but neverthless 'traditional' (?) http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33098423-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103117-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103126-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103129-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103134-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103137-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103142-L.jpg more vietnamese ao dai. =) click on the links below. http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103262-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103269-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33103280-L.jpg And more... no ao dai, but the "hat"..hehe..click on the links below. http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33049280-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33049282-L.jpg http://tuantruong.smugmug.com/photos/33049283-L.jpg
Guest AAgurl789
Ao Dai from the movie "Muoi (10)"...which is a joint South Korean and Vietnamese production.'' Joe An and Cha Te Reon in a more elaborate ao dai. I really like the purple one, but then it's not as form fitting...Nevertheless, the color and design is pretty. ao dai khan dong ------------------------------------------------------- I'll post some other asian costumes later. =)

lilliums
http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/2902/pic41xe.jpg Ada is so gorgeous! It was super easy to believe she's the most beautiful girl in the nation in "Where the Legend Begins". OMGAUHFAEIFHAFHD. what drama is this from? ahh, i used to watch it in mongolia when i was little. does anyone know where i can find it with subs? That's from "Princess Pearl"; there's a Princess Pearl I and II (well, there's a III too, but the original cast isn't in it). I have no clue where you can find English subs for it though...maybe you can try D-Addicts?

Guest precious4e
I love Gong Li! But I remember that after watching Curse of the Golden Flower all the adults were so upset because they were saying how the girls back then would NEVER have pushed their boobs out so far for everyone to see lol.
