personally...i would never say chào người. its tooo literal. you would say bạn instead. but then again, in this time and age, ppl would just say hello with a viet accent.

ten cou tau va vu diem chau - you mistakenly spelt cua wrong. its của instead of cou. and its not va... its là.

I have this project thing going on for school and I need 50 basic english sentences translated into Vietnamese, accent marks and all ~_~.

behind him, so it didn't seem natural . LOLOL .

Usually I would call that person Co. I think maybe

if that person is really close to your family you could

call them Di? Not sure since my family titles are kinda weird.

I call my duong cau instead x]

from my knowledge

Co^- young siblings from your dad side of the family..but also can use to call

mom/dad's friend or sth that's older ...

Ba'c- only title that person so when s/he is older than your parents.

Di`- younger sister from your mother side of the family

Yea I wouldn't say chao nguoi either.. Just say hi or hello. I consider "chao" a bit too formal personally~

I think "Chao Nguoi" seems. . . incorrect.

just go with "Xinh Chao" or "Chao Moi Nguoi/Ban"

but the first try isn't bad. ^^

uh uh...it actually spelled' dung vi mot ngoi sao ma quen het ca bau troi" i dun think any one can really translate this but more likely to be "dont go insane for one star, and forget the rest of the sky"

My pronouciation in Viet is really bad now, EVENTHOUGH I was born in Vietnam and educated there until grade 3..

I can still read and write pretty well.

i know what word that is now. but i can't remember the exact meaning. it's used to say that someone is...being an annoying pain in the butt? or they're being really outrageous?

something along those lines. correct me if i'm wrong, i'm an american born Vietnamese/Cantonese.
