Lee Byung Hun to Preside Over Lee Bum Soo’s Wedding

Star actor Lee Byung Hun (40) will preside over the wedding of actor Lee Bum Soo (41).

Lee Bum Soo's agency Mast Entertainment announced on May 7 that Lee Byung Hun will be the presider at the wedding of Lee Bum Soo and interpreter Lee Yoon Jin, which will be held on May 22 at 5 pm at Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel.

A person at the agency described the two actors’ friendship by saying, “Even before Lee Bum Soo asked Lee Byung Hun to preside over the wedding, Lee Byung Hun said to Lee Bum Soo, ‘I surely have to host your wedding. If you had asked someone else to preside over your wedding, I might feel hurt.’”

Kim Jong Hwan, the former Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Army and a general in the reserves, will officiate the wedding, and singers Hwan Hee and Whee Sung will sing for the wedding. The agency also said, “The general is acquainted with Lee Bum Soo’s father, who is a former military man, so he accepted Lee Bum Soo’s request to officiate his wedding.”

Ahead of his wedding ceremony on May 22nd, Lee Bum Soo has revealed his wedding invitation card which he had personally designed himself.

Lee Bum Soo will be getting married to Lee Yoon Jin in nine days time at the W Seoul Walkerhill Hotel and their wedding invitation card has attracted the attention of netizens after being revealed.

The design of their wedding invitation card is pretty simple compared to the intricate elaborate designs of other cards. There’s only a drawing of the smiling lovebirds on the front of the card and this had been drawn by Lee Bum Soo himself, making it extra meaningful as netizens marveled at his talent.

Lee Byung Hun will be the host for his wedding while Wheesung and Hwanhee will sing congratulatory songs. Lee Bum Soo will address the media through a press conference on the 14th to share his thoughts on getting married.

After announcing that he was getting married in May, Lee Bum Soo (41) is finally tying the knot on May 22nd with his teacher and now wife, Lee Yoon Jin (27).

This will be Lee Bum Soo’s second marriage after divorcing in 2003 but it does look like it will be marital bliss till the end this time. He met his wife when she was teaching English and he was a student learning English. She is an English newspaper columnist, a translator and an English language teacher. Among her students was global star and K-pop king, Rain.

They tied the knot this evening at the W Seoul Walkerhill Hotel where celebrities like Lee Byung Hun, Kim Bum, Jung Jun Ha, Park Soo Hong, Lee Hwi Jae, Im Chang Jung, Ryeo Won, etc turned up to congratulate him on his wedding.

At the press conference before the wedding, they expressed their wish to have at least 3 or more children. They won’t be going on a honeymoon after this as Lee Bum Soo has to return straight to work, filming for his drama, Giant.

Actor Lee marries English interpreter

Actor Lee Beom-soo, 41, tied the knot with Lee Yun-jin, an English interpreter at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjang-dong, eastern Seoul, Saturday.

Lee's wife, 14 years younger than him, is an English interpreter for international conferences and an English columnist having worked as an announcer on MBC in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province and OBS based in Gyeonggi Province. The couple first met when she taught him English in 2008. She also taught singer Rain for four months.

Top star Lee Byung-hun hosted the wedding ceremony and singers Hwanhee, Whisung and SG Wannbe sang at the wedding.

The actor made his debut in the 1990 film "Yes, Let's Look Up at the Sky Now and Again" and rose to stardom with the 2003 film "Singles." He has starred in numerous films such as "Wet Dreams" (2002), "Oh Brothers'' (2003) and "Mr. Gam's Victory" (2004).

The actor recently garnered popularity in hit television dramas "Surgeon Bong Dal-hee" (2007) as a charismatic surgeon and "On Air" (2008) as a manager of a top star and is currently appearing in SBS drama "Giant."

The actor previously married in 2003 but got divorced four months later.
