n really i fall in lov wth them n searchd all abt shinhwa in all variety show.

its like i try 2 backtracking know n learn abt 10 an now 13 years shinhwa.

im soo late 4 teen years ya??

among so many new korean boyband, i think thats a great thing they can manage their togheterness up 2 13years.

n i lov shinhwa personally also.i hope they finaly find a bes woman since they'r not young anymore

Kim Dong Wan comments on Shinhwa’s past nude photo album

Kim Dongwan shared some interesting details with the audience of ‘Radio Star‘ about the nude photo album Shinhwa released back in the day.

The hosts asked him what it felt like to be the first idol group in K-pop history to release a nude photo album. Kim Gura in particular questioned the veteran idol about some of the poses in the photos: “There was someone lying down.Who was that?”

Kim Dong wan cheekily answered, “That was me. The guy holding up the banana leaf, hanging onto a tree branch, and laying down – all of me that was me,” causing the hosts to laugh as he recreated all the poses.

When asked how many photo albums were sold, Dongwan replied: “They were released as limited edition albums, and they all sold out.”

Shinhwa's Comeback Is Now Official!

Shinhwa have officially announced that they will be making their comeback as a group next March!

On August 1st, Shinhwa’s representatives revealed, “Shinhwa will be releasing a new album next March. They will be launching a concert, as well as promoting actively on broadcast programs. Starting in March, they will have three months of promotional activities. An Asian tour is still under discussion.”

As the longest standing idol group in the K-Pop industry (13 years!), Shinhwa briefly halted their activities as a group when the members went away to fulfill their military duties. The group will finally come together in March with Lee Min Woo as the last discharge.

The representative continued, “It is true that the members have been holding positive discussions about a comeback. After establishing Shinhwa Company, the members are working out the finer details of their return.”

Full Title: 13 Years since Their Debut, Shinhwa Founds 'Shinhwa Company'...The First Korean Idol to Found a Company

Korea's longest running idol group Shinhwa, which celebrated its 13th anniversary this year, has officially launched its Shinhwa Company.

Shinhwa is the one and only Korean idol which has stayed together without any member replacements. It is the first time in K-Pop history that the members of a group have personally established a management company, continuing its group legacy. Thus, the news of their comeback has grabbed the attention of many officials in the business.

The six members of Shinhwa--Eric, Kim Dongwan, Shin Hyesung, Lee Minwoo, Jun Jin, and Andy--personally invested in and found Shinhwa Company, and revealed their future plans as Shinhwa.

◆ Background behind Shinhwa Company's establishment

The plan for Shinhwa Company came about from the strong will of the Shinhwa members to maintain their independent and organized activities as a group. Open World Entertainment holds the naming rights for Shinhwa, and the head of Jang Sukwoo gave his approval to the Shinhwa members for the free use of the name.

Since the beginning of this year, the members of Shinhwa have been closely consulting Open World Entertainment for the establishment of Shinhwa Company. Open World's president Jang Sukwoo, who owns the naming rights, played a big role in founding the company by giving his approval for the use of the naming rights for as long as the members stay together as Shinhwa.

Thus, on August 1st, 2011, Shinhwa Company, the first company in Korean showbiz history to have the members of an idol group as its heads and investors, was established. Currently, the group's leader Eric is taking on the role of president, but after Lee Minwoo is released from his military duties next February, Eric and Lee Minwoo will become the co-presidents and will be look after all of Shinhwa's activities.

◆ The management of Shinhwa Company

As the six members of Shinhwa invested in Shinhwa Company, they will be personally taking over the company's management and operation as the heads and investors.

Open World Entertainment, which allowed the naming rights to be used by Shinhwa Company, will hold the rights for Shinhwa's overseas performances, and has already started planning an organized Asia tour project with its many know-hows from its previous experiences with Shinhwa's Asia tours. Open World will also be helping Shinhwa Company with overseas license related issues.

Also, the head of Top Class Entertainment, president Choi Byungmin, and the head of Liveworks Company, president Lee Jangeon, have been appointed by the members as CEOs of Shinhwa Company. Top Class Entertainment will overlook Shinhwa's televised promotions and general management operations, while Liveworks Company will overlook production of Shinhwa's albums and concerts, along with press promotion.

◆ The individual activities of the Shinhwa members

The individual activities of each of the Shinhwa members will be managed by the companies the members are currently under: Top Class Entertainment (Eric), Liveworks Company (Shin Hyesung, Kim Dongwan), M-Rizing Entertainment (Lee Minwoo), Open World Entertainment (Jun Jin), and TOP Media (Andy).

◆ Shinhwa's future activities

Currently Shinhwa is receiving many concert and promotion offers from inside and outside the country, across Asia. They will be releasing their 10th album sometime near March 24, 2012, their 14th anniversary, and will be undergoing extensive promotion including televised activities.

Also, after the release of their 10th album, Shinhwa plans to set off on an Asia tour, starting with Japan and China, and continuing on through 5~6 countries.

Eric has revealed his inner comic once again!

On August 31st, Eric uploaded two parody pictures of himself and his fellow Shinhwa members. One picture had the faces of all six Shinhwa members photoshopped onto a poster from the recent ‘Smurfs‘ movie, and the other picture had the members set-up as loan sharks.

On the ‘Smurfs’ picture, Eric wrote the caption, “2012 — I hope everyone gets nervous!“. As for the gangster parody picture, he wrote, “Did you pay back, kid? We get your swindled money back“. Cheekily, he added an additional message with the gangster picture, saying, “Shinhwa hopes to help everyone in any way possible.”

Netizens who saw the pictures commented, “Oppa you’re so cool“, “I’m going after getting a good laugh“, and “You’re so witty“.
