New show: C.E. 73 Stargazer Gundam Seed OVA

Okay here is some information I found about the upcoming OVA.

Format: 3 episodes each 15 minutes long. Available through net streams and events. It will first appear at Shizuoka Hobby Show in May

Staff:

- Director: Susumu Nishizawa

- Script: Shigeru Morita

- Character Designer: Kenichi Ohnuki

- Mecha Design: Kunio Okawara, Beecraft

2 main characters:

- Sven Cal Bayan: 19 year old male natural. Phantom Pain 2nd Lt.

- Selene McGriff: 28 year old female coordinator. One of the researcher of "GSX-401FW Stargazer Project"

Main unit:

- GAT-X105E Strike Noir - Based on Strike Gundam. (Gunpla version will come out)

In late 2005, Gundam SEED DESTINY finished its run as the second TV series set in the Cosmic Era timeline. In early 2006, Sunrise announced a new OVA set in the CE universe: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Stargazer. Unlike the previous SEED series, the three episode Stargazer is directed by Susumu Nishizawa instead of Mitsuo Fukuda. Also, SEED and DESTINY character animation director Kenichi Ohnuki takes over as character designer from Hisashi Hirai. Set during the same timeframe as DESTINY, Stargazer shifts its focus to a new set of characters. So far, two characters have been announced: Sven Cal Bayan, a male Natural from the Earth Alliance's secret Phantom Pain unit, and Selene McGriff, a female Coordinator working as a researcher on the "GSX-401FW Stargazer Project". In addition, one mobile suit has been revealed: the GAT-X105E Strike Noir. Unlike other Gundam OVA releases, Stargazer will be made available through net streams and other events. The first episode is set to debut in May 2006, and the series hasn't been licensed for a U.S. release.

Nothing but good news so far: A proper variant of the X105 frame(as opposed to a repaint or a bad rehash that thinks it's Justice), a Natural main character, focus on the EA(That'll make more than a few people here happy wink.gif ). It's a Side Story, so that means interference from the Spotlight Stealers is highly unlikely, neither Fukuda nor Morosawa are in charge, it's forty-five minutes long, which is short but still not bad at all...Finally, the CE gets a proper OVA!!!

Now, if only we knew more about the mysterious Stargazer Project...

P.S. it maybe true if Stargazer will be the 3rd series of SEED!

Oh man, I was browsing Bandai's Gundam WAR CCG forums, and I read a topic about Destiny released on DVD at Best Buy?

O.O

yeah as bad as the series was, you know as a Gundam fan you wanna get it, anyone wanna get it and take some pics? :D

lol. i can't help it after that disaster called gsd even though i'm still a fan of gs.

gsd was so-so expect that "Shin" was very very annoyed character haha but gs was pretty good series =D

check out Duel and Buster Gundam Kai, both of them are upgrade same as Strike Noir
